31 Products That'll Solve Some Of Your Problems In A Snap

Buzz Feed25-03-2025

1. A pack of K-Cup cleaners you simply put in your coffee machine to help get rid of any leftover residue and old coffee grounds that might spoil that first cup of coffee in the morning. Using one of these bad boys makes cleaning so much easier and can increase the lifespan of your morning bestie (aka your Keurig).
Promising review:"Quick and easy way to clean my Keurig. I'm not a fan of cleaning, period, so when I saw these pods, I thought, what the heck, what do I have to lose, they're pretty inexpensive, so I gave them a go. Judging from the pod holder, they did a pretty darn good job in just a few minutes. I'll be using one of these periodically from now on to keep my Keurig clean. Very happy with the product and it couldn't be easier to use." — Amazon Customer

2. A Glisten garbage disposal cleaner capable of turning your food graveyard into a lemon-scented haven. I think we all can collectively agree that shoving our hand down the disposal to deep clean is not in our job description. Just place the packet in the disposal, let it soak, and turn on your disposal! Easy peasy lemon squeezy!
www.amazon.com
Promising review:"It seems counterintuitive to put a little packet down your garbage disposal to clean it, but this does actually seem to work, at least for getting out weird smells that baking soda and vinegar don't really touch. I scrub the sink down first, especially around the garbage disposal area, rinse it down, and then just follow the directions on the package. I have used it with single, large-size sinks and with double sinks — only difference is that the double sink will have blue cleaning foam rise up the drain, which you rinse away when the disposal sounds clear again. I have tried the foaming cleaner in a can, but unfortunately, it stopped coming out of the can about 10% of the way through. Went back to this tried and true." — KS
Get a pack of two (good for eight uses) from Amazon for $7.56.
3. A pet hair remover that makes it easy to get all the little piles of hair on your couch and carpets that your pup or cat graciously "gifts" you. Roll this back and forth and press the release button to reveal all the hair that makes you ask your animal, "How are you not bald already?" This reusable tool is way more efficient than going through a whole lint roller with wasteful sticky sheets.
www.amazon.com, www.amazon.com
Promising review:" HOW HAVE I LIVED WITHOUT THIS PRODUCT, OH MY GOD. I have a big Great Dane/pit bull mix with black and white fur that gets everywhere and sticks like the devil. I've tried fancy vacuums, lint rollers, that weird yellow sponge thing that's supposed to be magic, crawling on my hands and knees, plucking each hair one by one, but nothing works. UNTIL NOW. I cannot believe my own eyes, and I can't wait to use this thing on every surface of the house and buy one for every dog owner I know. Seriously. I have a very clean home, and I can't believe how much hair I've been living within my rugs. It's disgusting. This product is worth every dang penny." — Amazon Customer

4. A pack of adhesive cable clips so you don't have to throw out your back trying to get your cord that fell behind your desk. Plus, they help keep your cables less tangled!

Get a six-pack from Amazon for $3.99+ (available in three color sets and multiple sizes).
5. A special brush to get in the deep, dark depths of the dryer and get anything that wasn't already caught in the lint trap. This is way easier than shoving your hand down the slim little opening, and it's a quick fix to make your dryer work more effectively!
Amazon
Also, built-up lint is a fire hazard! Make this a part of your weekly cleaning routine.
Promising review:"This brush is stiff but flexible enough to feed under my dryer's lint filter. Several weeks ago, a trouble light came on that indicated the airflow in my dryer was becoming obstructed. I had the dryer vent and area under the lint filter cleaned. (Not much lint was pulled out, so maybe the dryer sensor gave a false alarm.) I felt a small investment in a brush such as this is better than paying for a future vent cleaning. I've been using it once a week, and it picks up a little lint each time, but that's lint that won't have a chance to build up in the dryer vent!" — blueskys
Get it from Amazon for $5.45.
6. A jar of The Pink Stuff — it'll work wonders to remove dirt, oil, grime, rust, and stains from pretty much any surface. You'll be surprised that the ingredient list doesn't just say "magic" since it brings your things (stoves, pans, sinks, etc.) back to life with little to no elbow grease required.
www.amazon.com
Promising review:" THIS STUFF IS MAGIC. If you're questioning getting this to clean harder stains or anything, this is your review to read! I was a little skeptical because I've tried many things to clean my shower door with the hard-water stains and nothing really ever got it completely clean...this stuff did! I wish I would have taken before pictures. It did take a couple of applications and some scrubbing, but honestly I didn't have to scrub hard, just used a wet cloth and this and my shower door is now completely clean without any hard water stains! I'm obsessed. Now to see what else I can clean with it." — R. Ford
Get it from Amazon for $5.49.

Promising review:"I don't typically review items, but I couldn't pass on this one. I was skeptical at first but willing to give it a try. I have a new pair of sweats from Champion that were covered in pills after one washing. Disappointed but still comfortable, I bought this machine. Incredible results. Like a newly mowed green on a golf course. I hope it stays good because it's probably the best device I have in my home. Hope you find it as incredible." — Peter J Hopely
Get it from Amazon for $8.99+ (available in five colors and two styles).
9. A durable plastic clear toy blocker that deters all your kid's or pet's toys from entering the Dark Side (aka under the couch, stove, or fridge). Plus, the clear plastic is durable and blends in, so it's not a total eyesore.
It can also be used to help discourage smaller animals from hiding under furniture!
Promising review: " This product is GENIUS! My husband and I jokingly said how we wished there was something we could put under our couches to block toys from being lost under there, and with one good old Amazon search, of course, it exists! We used to spend literally a half hour each night trying to knock the toys back out from under the couch with a broom, and now we never have to do that again. It was quick and easy to install, and now toys bounce right off of it and go back to the center of the living room, making for the easiest cleanup ever." — Truthful_Reviews
Get it from Amazon for $11.98+ (available in eight sizes).
10. A Click & Carry bag holder to save you from the disastrous event of a fallen grocery bag when your hands are too full, resulting in broken pickle containers and spilled milk. But no need to cry here; this little thing helps you hold up to 100 pounds, saves you a couple of trips back to the car, and has a soft gel grip that can even be put over the shoulder, so it's truly a hands-free and hassle-free experience.
www.amazon.com, www.amazon.com
This small business was seen on Shark Tank, and the founder, Kim, wanted a painless solution for lugging all her grocery bags in after shopping.
Promising review: "These are great for consolidating trips to the car/truck to carry in items. I only have one functional hand, so it used to take forever to bring items into the house. Now, I just load up four or five bags onto the click-and-carry grip carrier, and off I go. Easy to use as the handle turns counter or clockwise direction, and you just turn it back in place until you hear the click sound, which indicates it's locked in place. I've had these for about a year now, and they haven't worn out or broken yet, so I'm extremely happy with them." — Susan Hardee
Get it from Amazon for $13.99 (available in seven colors).
11. A WD-40 pen that will turn any squeaky, rusty, or unlubricated hinge that goes "eeeeeeeeeeee" every time you open it to sheer 🔇 nothing. 🔇 It's super easy to use, and you'll finally be able to get a good night's sleep without hearing the creak when your partner opens up the bathroom door in the middle of the night.
Promising review: "I love WD-40 products and use them for everything. I spray on shovels to keep dirt or snow from sticking, spray around windows and thresholds to deter bugs, clean Sharpies off wood and walls, and, of course, stop squeaky doors. These small direct-point application pens are great. Keep one in the glove box, my kitchen 'junk' drawer, and the house toolbox." — BBP623
Get a three-pack from Amazon for $12.86.
12. A popular long-lasting eyeliner stamp where all you need to do is stamp the wing on the outer corner of your eye and flip it over to the fine tip to finish off the job! Now you can quickly get ready for the day and not redo your eye makeup like a bajillion times.
www.amazon.com, www.amazon.com
One side is the curved wing stamp, and the other is a regular fine tip liner for defining the rest of the eye. It comes in a pack of two, one for each eye.
The Flick Stick comes from New Zealand-based brand and small biz Lovoir Beauty.
Promising review:"Got this before a trip I took a few days ago. I have never been able to do wing eyeliner properly so I was excited to try this. It's very pigmented and goes on beautifully! I've tried other liquid eyeliners before, and they were so watery and not close to the dark black I wanted at all, but this product was great. I did my makeup and put this eyeliner on at 9 a.m., traveled for two hours, walked around a city for about three hours, and it was warm, so I was sweating, and then went to an NBA game. After all that time (about 16 hours!), the eyeliner was just as perfect as I had put it on! I love this product and can't wait to use it more often!" — Elizabeth
Get a set of two from Amazon for $14.98 (available in three sizes and a combo pack).

Amazon
Promising review:"Why didn't someone think of this sooner? For years, I've been using cotton buds dipped in makeup remover to remove little goofs or mistakes. This is so much better and portable! Erases waterproof mascara marks around my eyes easily. Must-buy product!!" — Katherine
Get it from Amazon for $10.
14. A Downy fabric spray here to turn your clothing from looking crunchy to fresh and crisp in a matter of minutes. Spray, shake out the clothing, and see how your clothes look magically ironed even when you didn't have the time or patience to iron (who does these days???).
www.amazon.com
Here's what BuzzFeed editor Danielle Healy has to say about it: "I hate wrinkles *and* am lazy — two at-odds conditions. This stuff has been a staple in my life since approximately ninth grade (thanks to my mama). As a former Catholic school uniform wearer, this stuff was VITAL to freshening up wrinkly dress shirts that spent the after-school hours stuffed in a gym bag. The scent is light and fresh, and its wrinkle-releasing powers are nearly instant. It definitely works better on some fabrics than others (great on cotton, less great on some synthetics), but it'll improve the look of most without dealing with an iron or steamer."
Get a two-pack from Amazon for $15.94.
15. A pack of Bissell Stomp N' Go stain-removing pads that relieve you of getting down and dirty and scrubbing those pesky stains. www.amazon.com
They're also great for things like wine, mud, coffee, blood, and juice.
Promising review:"WOW! Honestly, I was a little skeptical of the promise of these pads, but I bought them just to try them out. THEY WORKED AMAZINGLY WELL! Seriously. I have some stains that are 1.5–2 years old. I've tried everything to get them out. I put these pads on the stains (two to cover the spot), let sit for about an hour, pulled them up, and the stain was gone. I truly couldn't believe it. The pad was yellow. Somehow, the old urine was soaked up into the pad. My carpet looks like new. I couldn't recommend these any higher for what I wanted and what I got. Wish I could give this more than 5 stars." — Matt
Get a pack of 20 from Amazon for $25.89.
16. A pack of bottle cleaning tablets with no scrubbing required: Add hot water, let it sit for 15–20 minutes, and rinse away all that gross buildup. Not only is it ~so~ satisfying to dump out all the residue down the drain, but you'll have proof that you now have a sparkly clean bottle!

In about 15 minutes I was impressed with how rich and bold the brew was, with no grounds like others I've tried. It looks great on my kitchen counter. It's lightweight and stable with the base suction cups. It makes a little noise but much less than I expected (and less than my Nespresso machine)." — Liz
Get it from Amazon for $99.99.
18. A pack of earbud-cleaning putty because somehow earwax and dirt always find their way into the smallest of places. Instead of trying to manually get it out with a Q-tip or tweezers, just press the earbud into the putty and enjoy your favorite album or podcast without gunk causing a muffled sound quality.
Promising review:"After seeing this on BuzzFeed and looking at the reviews along the way, I literally bought this because of another review that said it fixed her muffled iPhone 11. So glad I did!! I had the exact same issue with hearing people on my iPhone 11 and was SO frustrated. But this worked instantly. Stuffed a square of the putty into the very small receiver you hear out of, and, for the first time in months, I can hear people clearly and loudly out of my iPhone without being on speakerphone. I am so happy I don't have to get a new phone. I used them to clean my AirPods as well; it was good to see all the gunk come out despite not having an issue with sound for them. Definitely a great purchase." — jtd

Our new house had a ton of weeds in the front yard, and this tool helped me get most of them out in no time. In fact, the process of yanking out the weeds was strangely satisfying! I don't think anyone can say that weeding is fun, but this tool made it as close to fun as you can get, especially when you see a long root along with the weed you pulled." — JG
Get it from Amazon for $36.97.
21. A jar opener so you don't have to muster up the courage to go ask your neighbor to help you open the pickle jar. This grabs the lid with a firm silicone hold, and with a simple twist, you'll be enjoying your pickle spears without having to put your back into it to do so.
This is especially useful for people with limited mobility or a weaker grip.
Promising review: "I have had a difficult time trying to open a large Costco-sized jar of marinated artichoke hearts. To the point that I was sorely tempted to ask my neighbor to open it, a neighbor I don't know well (which seemed to be a little old lady thing to do.) And then I opened up the Amazon envelope and with very little effort, this jar-opening tool opened the jar with amazing ease!! I mean really!! Whoever invented this is pretty darn clever. I kept them on for 30 minutes and then toweled my feet off, and the tingling sensation slowly faded over the next 30 minutes. After that, my feet felt very refreshed and relaxed at a time of day when they're usually aching from all the miles I put in. The whole thing was a mess-free, easy process, and I will definitely keep them on hand for longer run days!"

You literally just pat the poof on your scalp and then rub the powder in. I do have black hair, so dry shampoo is usually very visible in my hair, but I didn't have any harder time than usual rubbing this powder in. It did a really good job of soaking up all the oil and giving my hair volume. I'm not a fan of the price for the amount that you get, but it lasts longer than I thought it would. Before I purchased this, I used the typical homemade recipe of bleach and powdered dishwashing soap. I'd have to run two or three cycles to get it crystal clear. One cycle with this stuff, 15 minutes, and the results are amazing! The first photo (above) is of my tub running with the solution. Then, I drained it (second photo) and wiped it down with a sponge. Author Provides an Intimate Look at the Indian Child Welfare Act and the Adoption of her Native American daughter

Book covers the difficulties that arose from adopting a Native American child and managing the unknown health history, disabling physical conditions, and the reconciliation of all participants LAKEWOOD, Colo., June 9, 2025 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- In 1970, Colorado Child Welfare labeled author Dianne Haaland's future daughter as "unadoptable" because she was a minority. At the time, few people knew about Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders or the Indian Child Welfare Act. At their first meeting, Haaland and her husband were mesmerized by a beautiful, beguiling baby girl and wanted to bring her home immediately. The final adoption occurred six months later. In "Finding Pieces and Peace," Haaland shares the challenges she and her daughter, Tanya, faced, including lies and misleading statements form officials, suicide attempts and drug abuse. They chose to share their stories to help others, including some alternative pathways that they tried and often failed at. "Many times, people don't take the time to learn about the past and have no base or starting point to do something better," said Haaland. "We can't offer advice for your situation, as no two conditions are the same. But we can offer ideas to give you a multitude of choices to evaluate and choose for your situation." Haaland and her ex-husband had one child and were a foster home to thirty-three, mostly Native American, children over three years. Besides her own story, she also includes information about Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders, the Indian Child Welfare Act, court appointed special advocates and the American Indian Movement, as many are not familiar with these topics, and they play largely into her story. "I hope our book gives a voice to foster children, adoptees, and relinquishing mothers who wanted to share their stories," said Haaland. I have been into gardening lately, and spend a lot of time outside. My back always hurts from bending over, or my knees ache. So having this chair low enough to the ground is so convenient! I also love that it comes with the tools and the tool bag attached to the chair. It folds flat for easy storage. I love it! —sheena bostickGet it from Amazon for $35.99. Seed Needs is a family-owned small business in Michigan that makes seed packets. Promising review: "I bought this package hoping to attract butterflies. It did not disappoint. I have the opposite of a green thumb, and this was super easy. I couldn't tell you the names of any flowers, but we have at least six different types. I overseeded a smaller area, so I will probably make the area larger or only do half the seeds next year. We can go outside at any time and see our beautiful flowers and SO many butterflies! 10/10" —Tesa TaylorGet it from Amazon for $5+ (available in four mixes and two sizes). A pack of Miracle-Gro water-storing crystals for making sure you don't over or underwater your plants. Just pour the concentrate into the reusable pouch, fill it with water using your hose, attach the sprayer wand, and you're ready to go. The fast-acting formula will get to work on weeds, moss, algae, and even unwanted grass in as little as 20 minutes. Promising review: "My new flowerbed had some Bermuda grass coming up through the weed guard paper, but not anymore. I watched it wilt within 30 minutes of application. I pulled the dead grass the next morning. Other weeds I hit in the flowerbed were much easier to pull than weeds I didn't hit with the weed warrior. It worked better and faster than the other weed killers I have used. Now my flowerbeds can stay grass- and weed-free." –Neeci "This worked as advertised. Love that it's not using harsh chemicals, too. I have kids that love to play outside and wrestle and flip all over the yard, so it's nice knowing they can do so in a safe environment instead of among a ton of chemicals." —Weslee H. These grow bags use a breathable material, which keeps roots and soil oxygenated and cool throughout the year. Great for developing robust, fibrous root systems that stay healthy without needing regular root pruning. Promising review: "So I'm no plant pot-biologist, but these are awesome. They're durable and strong. The handles are stitched on super well. They are also solid enough to hold the soil and plant with no problem while letting enough oxygen to the roots to create a bigger root ball, leading to bigger plants/yields. Best mesh flower pots by far." —Avraham C Get it from Amazon for $12.99+ (available in tan or black and in 10 sizes). A 21" Ryobi self-propelling lawnmower because yard work is way more tolerable when your mower doesn't sound like a helicopter. This one's battery powered-powered (read: quiet), and the charge lasts *forever* — I did both my front and back lawn with juice left over. It's a very worthy investment if you want to maintain a pristine lawn all year long without a lot of effort on your part (self-propelling really is awesome). My house has a lot of lawn: over 3,000 square feet. When we first moved in, I bought a cheap battery-powered mower that could barely handle either the front or the back yard on a single charge. Not ideal. This Ryobi mower is the total opposite. I can mow both the front and back with charge to spare. A "command center" lets you activate turbo mode and lights, and adjust the self-propel speed right from the handle (great for slowing down when you're trying to mow a corner). Turbo mode gives you an extra boost for tough patches, and it comes with a grass catcher bag, though I always keep mine on mulch mode because it's better for the lawn. The handle folds down for easy storage. Bonus: the 40V battery works with over 85 other Ryobi tools, which I love because it means I can expand my collection without collecting a bunch of different batteries. Promising review: "I bought this mower exclusively for my front yard because I love my yard to be neat. Since my yard is on a slope, self-propelled is a must. I was really surprised by the power of the drive and the very even cut. Stores away in my garage and is always ready. Am I happy? Extremely." —Greg D. Get it from The Home Depot for $549. Looks great on my back porch area and is a nice place to store all my planting supplies. The metal countertop is a nice touch, as it's easy to wipe down and gives it a bit of a rustic look. I would highly recommend and buy it again!" —Staci Evans Get it from Amazon for $108.59+ (available in three wood finishes). A pack of three rolling plant caddies to make sure you can move your heaviest plants without much effort. Each caddy can hold up to 80 pounds, too, so we're talking about some pretty big plants! An extra-thick foam kneeling pad so days spent tending to your garden won't result in excruciating knee pain. This mat measures 17.75 inches long x 11.75 inches wide x 1.5 inches review: "I'm not getting any younger. Scrubbing the floor/floorboards behind the toilet, bottom of tub, refrigerator, lower cabinets, gardening on my hands and knees kills me these days. I was skeptical that this wouldn't be thick/sturdy enough to use for all of the aforementioned tasks. Boy, am I glad I was wrong! If you're looking for a great 'kneezy,' this one is it. It's supportive, cushioned, wipes clean, and has a carrying handle. Definitely worth your time and money." —AikoGet it from Walmart for $21.48. Everything is included inside the box with meaty screws to hold up the bracket.
