The documentary premiered on May 20, 2025, and it reopens a controversy many believed was closed forever but not for Sterger.

Jenn Sterger, age 41 now, was a New York Jets gameday host in 2008. Brett Favre, the Hall of Fame quarterback, played with the Jets during his sole season there. Although they were teammates, Sterger claims that she and Favre never met face-to-face. Yet, in her account, Brett Favre took her phone number without her consent and started sending her unwanted text messages.

The Fall of Favre, Jenn Sterger has a sit-down conversation about what transpired. She recounts how the messages had started and how they were brought to light in 2010 on sports website Deadspin. Going by their report, Brett Favre supposedly sent her text messages, voicemail, and even an explicit photo.
Sterger claims she never authorized her messages to be disclosed but they were shared anyway.

'I've never met him,' she says.
'We've never shaken hands.'
She says Favre first saw her from a distance in a tunnel at a Jets game and asked a team staff member for her number. She says that the staffer gave her number to Favre without asking her first.
Subsequently, Sterger asserts Brett Favre started leaving her voicemails and eventually sent her an inappropriate photo. All of this in 2008, when they were both Jets players.
The messages surfaced in 2010 and created a scandal that received massive media coverage.
Brett Favre, now 55 years old, did not participate in the documentary. He has also denied any wrongdoing. The documentary also looks into other scandals throughout his career, including his involvement with a Mississippi welfare fraud case.

Who is Kilmar Abrego Garcia? Kilmar Abrego Garcia is a Salvadoran man whose case has become a focal point in the ongoing debate over US immigration enforcement, due process, and the limits of executive power. Born in July 1995 in San Salvador, Garcia fled gang violence in El Salvador at the age of 16 and entered the United States illegally around 2011 or 2012.
