A woman has been charged with assaulting a security guard at a hotel housing migrants after one of its residents allegedly walked into her flat, the Metropolitan Police has said. 'We can confirm that this is the man who allegedly entered the flat,' a statement said. He remains in police custody.

Man has life-threatening injuries after stabbing in Eastbourne
A man is in hospital with life-threatening injuries after a stabbing in Eastbourne, police have were called to a report of a fight in Seaside Road in the town at about 20:20 BST on man, along with two others who sustained minor stab wounds, was taken to hospital. A 24-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of committing grievous bodily harm and taken into custody.
