Where to buy Comic Relief 2025 merchandise, from red noses to iPhone cases

Independent12-03-2025

This year marks Red Nose Day's 40th birthday. The annual fundraising campaign, which lands on 21 March, has been making people laugh over the last four decades to raise money for charitable causes here in the UK and around the world. As for the Red Nose Day theme this year? It's going retro in celebration of its 40th.
The lineup for 2025 brings back iconic red noses from the Eighties, Nineties and 2010s, from the original nose, which is plain and simple, to a nose with hands, another with a face, and a dinosaur-themed nose. And there's a fun twist too – you won't know which one you'll receive. To mark the big 4 0, there's also a cupcake nose in the collector pack, and there's a sparkly, rare ruby nose too (count yourself lucky if you get this one).
From an iPhone case to a bucket hat, and collaborations with Aardman, Disney, and Mr Men and Little Miss, there's a range of Red Nose Day merchandise which can be found at the Comic Relief Shop or across retailers such as TK Maxx and Amazon this year.
The money raised will help Comic Relief support community food centres, local youth safe spaces, homeless, and make sure there is a safe passage for people escaping danger.
So, whether you're following the Morning Live presenters' 24-hour roller disco, rooting for Jamie Laing who will be running from London to Manchester, or holding your own Red Nose Day fundraiser, the Red Nose Day fun is just around the corner, and this year's red noses and merchandise are now available to buy. Keep scrolling for this year's lineup.
Making Red Nose Day's 40th anniversary, this year, Comic Relief has designed five red noses, all of which pay homage to iconic red noses from the last forty years – and you could get any one of them given that it's totally random. Will you be one of the one in 125 people to receive the rare ruby nose? Count yourself lucky if you do. And, a surprise awaits inside the red nose's box – remember to scan the QR code to find out what it is. At least £1.50 from the purchase of the red nose will go to Comic Relief.
If you need to buy a lot of red noses for a lot of noses, then you can opt for one of the larger packs. There's a collector pack which comes with five red noses (£12, Comicrelief.com) and comes with an exclusive celebratory cupcake nose. At least £7 from the purchase of the collector pack will go to Comic Relief. For schools, there's a multipack of 30 red noses (£60, Comicrelief.com). At least £35.50 of this purchase will go to Comic Relief.
TK Maxx has been partnering with comic relief for 20 years with its chari-tees, so, to mark the occasion, this year sees the return of seven of its collaborations, from Aardman to Mr Men. Made with Fairtrade cotton, some of the adult T-shirts include Little Miss Sunshine (£12.99, Comicrelief.com), Jessie from Toystory (Comicrelief.com) and Carl from Up. Kids' styles include Mickey Mouse (£8.99, Comicrelief.com) disco Shaun the Sheep (Comicrelief.com) and animal designs by the British photographer, publisher, and director, Rankin.
We wouldn't be surprised if this water bottle turns out to be one of the most popular items in this year's collection. With a large silhouette that bears a strong resemblance to far more expensive water bottles doing the rounds (naming no names), it features a bold and bright 'love' design by British lettering artist Rachel Joy. At least £3 from every water bottle sold goes to Comic Relief
Show your support by protecting your phone in this colourful Comic Relief party design case. Featuring retro designs inspired by the eighties, nineties and 2010s, it's available for iPhone 14, 14 Pro, 15 and 15 Pro.
Your tote collection just won't be complete without this Mr Cool tote bag. This is one of a range of bags available this year, including a 'love' tote bag (£7.99, Comicrelief.com). and a pouch (£7.99, Comicrelief.com) designed by British lettering artist Rachel Joy.
Available with this year's retro designs on either a black background or a red background, this reversible bucket hat means they can have double the fun and can be worn to show their support on the big day and throughout the sunny spring and summer months.
Whether you're always on the lookout for more cuddly toys or you know someone who is sure to absolutely love this crazy-haired character, this Plushie toy looks to be a fun inclusion to this year's Comic Relief collection. Plus, it's made from recycled polyester.
If it's time to replace your old and collapsing umbrella, Comic Relief has launched a pink and red polka dot design, complete with the Red Nose Day 2025 logo printed on the pouch, so you can stay dry whilst supporting a good cause.

I went to Apple iPhone event today and I'm obsessed with 6 new tricks – ‘hold robot' for phone calls is best of the lot

A FLURRY of new features are about to appear on the Apple gadgets you already own. I sat for two hours as Apple doled out smartphone freebies on stage at its WWDC event in California – and there are six you'll want to look out for. iPhone owners, buckle up. 12 NEW APPLE TRICK #1 – TEXT QUESTION PLEASE? The Messages app is getting three upgrades – and they're very handy. Apple is finally adding the ability to create and send polls to pals. You'll be able to quiz them on a restaurant or holiday destination – or vote on who should win Strictly. It's a feature that WhatsApp added back in 2023, and is very popular. Now you can do it in Messages too. Another added bonus for Messages users is the option to add custom backgrounds to each of your chats. They'll sync with the contact too, so you both see the same wallpaper. Fun. Third, you get the ability to screen messages from unknown senders. "In Messages, users can now screen messages from unknown senders, giving them more control over who appears in their conversation list," Apple explained. "Messages from unknown senders will appear in a dedicated folder where users can then mark the number as known, ask for more information, or delete. iPhone 16e review – I've secretly tested Apple's cheapest mobile and I love the new button but that's not the best bit "These messages will remain silenced until a user accepts them." NEW APPLE TRICK #2 – GAME DAY All the signs are there: Apple is getting very serious about gaming. The company has shown early signs of wanting to boost its gaming offering with its increasingly powerful Mac chips. And just a few years ago, Apple Arcade launched – serving up a subscription-only library of premium mobile games. Now Apple has taken it one step further with a brand new and dedicated Games app. This is a bit like the App Store but just for games (finally!), and also lets you locate Apple Arcade titles too. There are ways to play with and challenge pals. And it's a good sign of things to come: your iPhone is immensely powerful, and has a lot of potential as a gaming device. 12 Watch out, Nintendo. NEW APPLE TRICK #3 – ALL SMILES Emoji are effectively the world's shared language. Almost all of us use them – and we all know what they mean. Last year, Apple created an AI feature called Genmoji to let you dream up your own custom emoji. But that wasn't enough for the fiendish emoji lovers out there. So now Apple has added the ability for users to mash up two emoji together. Think 'smiling football' or 'zebra cat'. The possibilities are endless. NEW APPLE TRICK #4 – AIR WE GO! By far and away my favourite trick of the lot is a new perk for holidaymakers – though it's handy at home too. There's a new feature that translates foreign languages in real-time. So you can have a conversation with someone who doesn't speak English, and understand every word they say. This is a game-changer for any of you that have been abroad in a country where you're not fluent in the native tongue. Live Translation should make it much easier to order in restaurants, find your way around when you're lost, and potentially avoid being scammed too. NEW APPLE TRICK #5 – HOLD ON A MINUTE Another brainy new trick is Hold Assist. 12 This is effectively a robot that holds on a phone call so you don't have to. It'll wait for a human to pick up, and then alert you when the conversation is ready. That way, you don't have to spend hours in call centre misery, listening to those awful tunes for a problem that might take just seconds to solve. NEW APPLE TRICK #6 – HUNG UP! Another clever spam-prevention feature is Call Screening. This is similar to Apple's Live Voicemail feature that lets you read a transcription of voicemails in real-time. Now Apple will gather info from callers, and then share that detail with you. So your iPhone can ask the caller for their name and why they're calling – and then tell you the answer that they give. Then you can decide if you want to pick up the call or totally ignore it. CUT OFF! Sadly, not everyone will be able to claim this bonanza of tech tricks. Anyone with a very old iPhone will miss out on the whole lot. The list of supported devices getting iOS 26 is as follows: iPhone 16e iPhone 16 ‌iPhone 16‌ Plus iPhone 16 Pro ‌iPhone 16 Pro‌ Max iPhone 15 ‌iPhone 15‌ Plus ‌iPhone 15‌ Pro ‌iPhone 15‌ Pro Max ‌iPhone‌ 14 ‌iPhone‌ 14 Plus ‌iPhone‌ 14 Pro ‌iPhone‌ 14 Pro Max ‌iPhone‌ 13 ‌iPhone‌ 13 mini ‌iPhone‌ 13 Pro ‌iPhone‌ 13 Pro Max ‌iPhone‌ 12 iPhone 12 mini ‌iPhone‌ 12 Pro iPhone 12 Pro Max ‌iPhone‌ 11 ‌iPhone‌ 11 Pro iPhone 11 Pro Max iPhone SE (3rd gen) ‌iPhone‌ SE (2nd gen) So if you've got anything older than the devices on that list, you're going without. That includes the iPhone XR, iPhone XS, and iPhone XS Max, which received last year's iOS 18 update – but has since been cut off from iOS 26. EXPERT VIEW: 'ACTION-PACKED' APPLE EVENT Here's the expert view from Paolo Pescatore, industry analyst at PP Foresight... "Another action-packed event with Apple delivering a slew of new features for its platforms," Paolo said. "Overall, it looks like Apple has done enough in what promises to be a year of transition as it further builds out its AI capabilities. "There was plenty of Apple Intelligence under the hood. New and subtle features that build upon its relentless focus on privacy and security such as screening of calls and text messages will be sought after and widely used by users. "While it might seem, others are leading the AI race, it is not a sought-after feature among users and there's no revenue uplift (for now). Considering the negative perception, Apple needs to tread carefully not to frustrate and disappoint its loyal base of (iPhone) users. "With these latest updates providing a more coherent feel, Apple remains in an enviable position given its large installed base of users. The subtle addition of Apple Intelligence across key services will help grow awareness and provide users with confidence to drive further engagement. The tight integration between hardware, software and services really stands out with this latest move. "A unified software experience is paramount as more users buy and use a slew of Apple devices. This ensures a more comfortable look and feel driving further stickiness among users. All of which underline the growing importance of software and services at a time when people are looking to keep devices for longer. More importantly owning more devices from Apple. "The biggest visual change and redesign in years will coincide with a new iPhone later in the year. This will be significant as Apple is providing something new at a time when it is challenging to differentiate with a sea of sameness. Significantly it will put pressure on rivals as it makes their software a bit out of date. "People will feel like they have something new for free with a software upgrade. Noticeably, this will be a very different software update and one they will remember unlike others. "The name change is a very big deal which suggests a similar move might happen for the new iPhone to provide more consistency for users. "Other new features like live translate while available on rival platforms are much needed and will resonate with its customer base. "New gaming app follows in the footsteps of Apple TV in being a one-stop-shop for users gaming needs. This suggests a move to make bigger investments in gaming as others are doing. It represents a key battleground among providers. But the company is not resting on its laurels in TV with the new OS redesign to provide a more intuitive watching experience for users and families alike. "It might not steal the headlines, but the iPad finally takes a huge leap forward bringing it into line with other product segments for multitasking." Picture Credit: Paolo Pescatore

Jamie Laing admits his sex life with wife Sophie Habboo became 'clinical' when they started trying for a baby after couple shared they are expecting their first child

Jamie Laing has admitted that his sex life with wife Sophie Habboo 's became 'clinical' when they started trying for a baby. The TV personality, 36, and podcast star Sophie, 30, recently announced they are expecting their first child earlier this month, and now Jamie has revealed that the pressure to try and conceive changed how he performed in the bedroom. The former Made in Chelsea star explained on the couple's NearlyParents podcast: 'I found it complicated. I don't know why I found it complicated. I just found it complicated at that moment. 'It was a tricky time. I think lots of men probably go through that. They find it complicated to perform, because when you're first doing it, you're like, "Oh my God, this is quite an intense moment". I found, anyway. 'So then when you even start trying for it, I didn't realise how clinical the whole thing is,' Jamie added. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the Daily Mail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. The couple recently announced they are expecting their first child, and now Jamie has revealed that the pressure to try and conceive changed how he performed in the bedroom 'As soon as we started trying, it was like, "OK, we've got to go clinical like, this isn't like sexy time".' He continued: 'Nothing about it was sexy, nothing about it was cute, nothing about it was romantic. And every single one of my friends that I've spoken to, I would say 99 per cent of my friends have said it all. 'They were like, "Dude, you're basically used as some sort of funnel". That's the grossest way. There's nothing sexy about it.' Jamie admitted it was like a switch went off in his head when he knew he was having sex to create a baby as opposed to doing it for enjoyment with Sophie. He explained: 'As soon as I started to give it a go, and you're like, "Right. We're gonna try for babies", something changed in my head [and] then my body closed off. 'I don't know what happened in my head. Something clicked off. It was weird, and I've spoken to a lot of my friends, that happened to them as well. 'And then it became almost like PTSD in my whole mind, that this couldn't happen as soon as we're like, "We're doing this". 'It's scary. So, this thing goes on, which I think happens with a lot of different people, when they're trying for it.' Elsewhere in the episode, Sophie opened up on their pregnancy journey so far and revealed some of the struggles she'd been dealing. She confessed that when her second trimester, she felt like she was 'dying' and was dealing with a lot of hormones that made her frequently feel irritated, quipping: 'This girl has gone from a bit of a b***h to don't come near me.' She explained: 'Up until week eight, I was smooth sailing. No good aversions, no sickness, so much energy, I was like what is every talking about this is unbelievable. 'Week eight hit and everyone's starting to grate to me a bit. Like that man sat next to me on the plane breathing, like is it illegal if I punch him in the face? 'If you're a fan of the podcast, I love you so much but you're not going to like me if you meet me at the moment.' Jamie, 36, then admitted to struggling to get his head around Sophie's mood changes with pregnancy, recalling: 'I asked Sophie if she had any cravings and she said, 'No, the only craving I have is hating you'. 'I then spent an evening on Reddit looking at "Why does your wife hate her husband so much when they're pregnant". He went on: 'Sophie is teaching me to drive and I'm a little bit nervous in the car and she goes "You're a s**t driver". I'm literally in my head going "Oh my god she's hasn't eaten this is really scary". 'Sophie then gets so angry she says to me "I'm so angry I want to drive us both into the back of this car and kill us". And then she started crying!' Sophie confessed that the 'anger is uncontrollable' but that it 'was very fleeting' as she lamented how her 'enormous t*ts' also meant she couldn't fit in any of her clothes. While Jamie then candidly told listeners how he owed her a real apology after not taking her hormones seriously and threatening to leave her over her 'grumpiness'. Sophie said: 'Jamie was like "Oh you're just milking it, you fake all your hormones, there's no such thing". He went "Oh you're just faking all of this." I was like "Oh my god" as I'm lying there with my enormous t*ts out and I can't fit into a single thing.' Recalling the incident in question, she went on: 'We are leaving and I feel really sick this day and Jamie gets his camera out and goes "I'm going to vlog today". Like on my Sunday that I'm about to vomit all day long. 'And what happened was Jamie sits down and he goes "I'm going to call my friends and ask them what I should do about this. Because I'm going to have to leave you. I'm going to leave you because you're just so unbearable right now."' Jokingly pretending to break down in tears, she went: And I went "You're going to leave me and I'm pregnant".' In defence of his actions, Jamie quickly added: 'The amount of people who are going to call me an a*****e. Just a caveat to add - I had no idea the emotional journey that you go on, how your body changes. 'I just didn't understand the extreme things that go on and since having read stuff on Instagram, I am awe of what you go through. The hormone change is wild.' Showing their Chelsea roots, the couple also revealed that Sophie's worst craving so far was for caviar, recounting how they had dashed round London trying to find a shop that was open at 8pm. Jamie explained they eventually found a caviar store only to discover a single pot cost £240, as he declared: 'I was like "Well that craving has to stop there and then".

Pregnant Sophie Habboo reveals Jamie Laing threatened to LEAVE her over 'unbearable' hormones as she laments her 'enormous t*ts' and caviar cravings in Nearly Parents podcast

Sophie Habboo and Jamie Laing have opened up on their pregnancy journey on the first episode of their newly-branded podcast, Nearly Parents. The former Made In Chelsea stars announced they were expecting their first child in a sweet social media post on Tuesday, after tying the knot in a lavish Spanish wedding in 2023. The couple took to their podcast to tell their fans all about their impeding parenthood for the first time, where Sophie, 30, revealed some of the struggles she'd been dealing with in her pregnancy. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the Daily Mail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. And then she started crying!' Sophie confessed that the 'anger is uncontrollable' but that it 'was very fleeting' as she lamented how her 'enormous tits' also meant she couldn't fit in any of her clothes. While Jamie then candidly told listeners how he owed her a real apology after not taking her hormones seriously and threatening to leave her over her 'grumpiness'. Sophie said: 'Jamie was like "Oh you're just milking it, you fake all your hormones, there's no such thing". He went "Oh you're just faking all of this." I was like "Oh my god" as I'm lying there with my enormous tits out and I can't fit into a single thing.' Recalling the incident in question, she went on: 'We are leaving and I feel really sick this day and Jamie gets his camera out and goes "I'm going to vlog today". Sophie revealed that after some Googling, she learned it is recommended that pregnant people avoid the expensive delicacy due to the risks of bacteria and mercury. However, she confessed that the risks were the only thing that stopped her eating it, otherwise would not have allowed the hefty price tag to put her off. She told her husband: 'I was going to give birth and then just be broke and never ever be able to eat again.' Jamie and Sophie also detailed their journey to getting pregnant, gushing how they were 'beyond lucky' to have succeeded on their second try. However, Sophie recalled how getting Jamie to be ready to start trying was 'like drawing blood from a stone', recalling how he 'went green' when she raised the subject. She recalled: 'In fact we went for lunch with my sister and I said as a joke, "Maybe I'm pregnant" because I was a day late on my period. 'We were not trying at this point and Jamie left the restaurant and never came back. Me and my sister were just sat there, and I was like don't worry he'll be having a panic attack.' Jamie defended: 'I was having a mild panic. It was scary for me at this point! You don't understand how scary it is going into this world of having or thinking of having kids.' The Candy Kittens founder also confessed to being uneducated about the topic, saying: 'I honestly thought for my whole life I was walking around with a loaded gun. 'I thought it was easy to get anyone pregnant. I didn't realise that a woman ovulates one day a month.' While he candidly explained he had found it 'complicated to perform' as it was 'so clinical' with Sophie admitting she 'ran a tight ship', when it came to tracking her ovulation. Jamie said: 'I thought I'd get a little drunk, play some Barry White and we canoodle. It's f***ing nothing like that. You get back from a long day and Sophie is standing in the sitting room going "right we've got to go" and it's clockwork. The pair explained they had sex every day for 10 days in a row during their first month trying, with Jamie saying: 'You're basically used as some sort of like funnel, there is nothing sexy about it. Honestly I don't think you took your jumper off once during that period.' He went on: 'Something changed in my head, where my body then closed off. I don't know what happened in my head, something clicked off. And then it became like PTSD in my mind.' Sophie joked: 'I went from a 90 second situation to a 25 minute to 45 minutes every day for 10 days. I was like "Hurry up!"' After succeeding their second time around, Jamie recalled his shock at Sophie telling him she was pregnant. He said: 'I thought I had a good six months to a year of having sex and trying. When you came down and told me I was like "what?" 'When you told me I was purely floating. It's like the most insane moment ever.' The couple delighted fans last week, by sharing the news they were expecting with a clip of Sophie having an ultrasound, captioned with a heart emoji. The joyous announcement came just after Sophie joined Jamie in presenting his Radio 1 drive time show when his co-star Vick Hope left on maternity leave. Vick, 35, who is expecting her first child with DJ Calvin Harris, 41, hosted her last show on the station last week. Back in April, Jamie and Sophie spilled the beans about their future plans on building a family during a chat with The Times. Jamie explained: 'I was really scared about kids. It's something you can't control. Sophie would then carry a baby, all these different things that I can't control and, "Oh God, what happens if this happen or that happens?" 'But I saw a clip on Instagram where someone said, "The best thing I ever had is being called Dad." I was like, "Oh, wouldn't that be cool?" So now I'm so down for it. I would like to have loads.'
