Promising review: "I like the way the [Olay] feels on my face after using it to clean up my makeup and especially my waterproof mascara. It does not leave my skin feeling dry. It's very easy to use and great on nights when you don't wanna wash your face cause you've been out having a great time." —SimoneGet a pack of 25 from Amazon for $6.48 (available in a three-pack).
A mini bottle of touch-up paint to mask any scratches or scuffs on your walls and furniture... and to make sure you get that security deposit back. You can use it directly on wood or to freshen up existing paint, so don't be surprised if you get the urge to roam around your home looking for cabinets, shutters, and floorboards to spruce up.
A wrinkle releaser and fabric-freshening spray that describes itself as an "iron in a bottle" — and over 34,000 Amazon reviewers swear by it. It'll help you get rid of all those creases and crinkles with just a few simple sprays, so it's perfect for when you can't be bothered to pull out the iron.
Promising review: "This is literally like an iron in a bottle. It's fantastic. This morning my shirt had a crease from being folded but I didn't have time to change, so I misted just one spray on the shirt, shook it out while I was wearing it, and the crease was gone. I cannot express how much I love this! I spray it over my shirts and shake them out a couple of times then hang them up and they are completely wrinkle-free, and it smells like everything just came right out of the laundry, which is also a plus." —KaylaGet a pack of two and a bonus travel-size from Amazon for $16.99 (available in other packs and sizes).
I Dew Care's dry shampoo powder — it's so easy to use you'll wonder how you ever dealt with those messy spray cans. This one has a powder-puff applicator so you can apply it directly to roots (you know, the source of all your oily troubles), and it also adds some extra volume as you brush it through. Reviewers say it instantly absorbs oil and doesn't leave a white residue behind.
John Frieda's Secret Weapon Touch Up Creme, which I personally swear by for making my hair waaaaaaayyyy more manageable in between washes. Finding a leave-in you can use on fully dried hair is surprisingly tricky, but this one is designed specifically for that! It's super easy to spread through (even when my hair is at the "you really need a haircut" point), and it softens it just enough to re-style without looking overly wet.
The best part? No crunchy residue!!! I hardly feel like I put anything in my hair at the end of the day, though it does feel a bit softer and less frizzy. Honestly, "secret weapon" is such a good name — if I weren't such a good person, I would gatekeep it so it stays in stock and under $10 forever.Promising review: "My hair is an untamed mess in the Key West humidity. This product works well and keeps my hair looking good without being too goopy." —KeyWestMikeGet it from Amazon for $8.97 (also available in packs of two and 24).
An iRobot Roomba that vacuums and mops at the same time! It'll create the illusion that you deep clean your floors every week. The rotating brush will first sweep away any dust, dirt, and hair on the floor, and then the pulsating microfiber mop at the back will break down any caked-on messes. Oh, and it'll take itself home to its charger once it's done scrubbing the floors, so you barely have to lift a finger.
A grout ink pen — it'll take the space between your tiles from grimy to shiny in a few simple swipes. This won't clean your grout, but it'll make it look brand-new. It's like a more productive version of an adult coloring book!

A set of reusable microfiber mop pads that fits on your Swiffer so you can quickly sweep or mop your floors when you have last-minute company. Or if you're just too lazy for an actual mop and bucket. This genius cardigan that has the work-friendly look of a blazer but the couch-friendly feel of your favorite sweater. It'll dress up literally anything you throw it on, even that Chipotle-stained T-shirt you've been working from bed in.
Promising review: "This is like a fusion between a jacket and a cardigan, it's definitely more structured and the material is more fitted. To me it's the perfect balance because it looks like a jacket and brings your outfit up a notch, but it's super comfortable and way softer than an actual jacket." —KimGet it from Amazon for $23.56+ (available in sizes 4-22 and 30 colors).
A pack of cooling, hydrating eye gels with hyaluronic acid and collagen you can put on 15 minutes before that early morning weekly meeting, then toss off right before you click on the Google Meet link.

I have issues with tired eyes and I used the patches for about 30 minutes after I washed my face, while I was in the shower, then took them off when I did my makeup and my under-eye was so moisturized and rejuvenated!" —Tiara BakerGet a pack of 10 pairs from Amazon for $9.95+ (also available in packs of 20 and 30).
A set of stove covers — you can plop these right over your burners to disguise the caked-on pasta sauce and grease splatters you haven't gotten around to cleaning up yet. They also double as spoon rests when not in use, so you won't have to worry about covering any stains on your countertops.
Each pack of four comes with two small covers (8.5-inches x .625-inches) and two large covers (10.5-inches x .625-inches).Promising review: "These look great on a stainless cooktop! I purchased to keep my unused burners clean while cooking on another burner. They do a great job of keeping splatters off the unused burner coils and drip pans, and they are much easier to wash. They clean up nicely and blend in with the cooktop." —CardieGet a set of four from Amazon for $17.97.
A set of storage cubes so you can contain your clutter instead of displaying it for all the world to see. From home offices to kitchen pantries, it'll make it seem like there's a method to your messy madness.
I personally love me some storage cubes, and they've become a must-have for my closet shelves. I mean, if I can't see my unorganized mess, it doesn't really exist, right?! These are by far the best cubes I've found for the price. They're super sturdy and tall enough to store tons of stuff without anything spilling out over the sides. Get a pack of six from Amazon for $17.19+ (available in two sizes and eight colors).

A protective spray that creates an invisible coating on surfaces to prevent fingerprints, stains, smudges, soap scum, and more — so it's a must for all my fellow spill-prone people. It's safe for use on almost any hard surface, including granite counters, stainless steel, marble, porcelain, and glass — and the coating lasts for up to 12 months!
A portable vacuum designed just for your car, because it's time to stop thinking to yourself, "I'll sweep these crumbs out eventually..." and actually get to cleaning. This plugs directly into your 12V outlet and comes with three attachments so you can clean everything from the floor mats to the scary cracks in between the seats. Your friends will be SO impressed the next time you pick them up.
A pack of cleaning erasers that only need water to remove stains — they're more affordable than name brands but still...um...magic, if you catch my drift. These little melamine sponges can quickly lift away tough stains, grease, soap scum, and anything else that your typical all-purpose cleaner just isn't tackling.
A wine-stain removing spray so you'll no longer panic when you accidentally spill that glass of merlot during Bachelor night. It even works on coffee, fruit punch, ink, and pet accidents, so you'll probably want the bottle near you at all times.
A small desktop vacuum that's truly the definition of tiny but mighty. It has a rechargeable battery, so you can carry it around to clean up any Cheeto dust and Oreo crumbs that end up on your desks, tables, or countertops. Seriously, every surface in your home is about to be dust-free.
Promising review: "Holy geez where was this all my life? This is the perfect crumb catcher/sweeper for your table. Have little ones that leave toast crumbs everywhere? Or a husband that drops little bits of stuff? This will vacuum it all up and voila clean table! The ChomChom pet hair remover roller that will pick up each and every stray hair your fur baby leaves in their wake this time of year. It's perfect for restoring your couch back to its former glory or making your car's seats look presentable again. Reviewers especially love this one (it's a constant best-seller on Amazon) since it only takes a few rolls back and forth to pick up the toughest pet hair, and the quick-release button makes it a breeze to remove the fur from the roller brush.
A pair of fluffy slippers with microfiber mops on the soles so you can get some cleaning done while you make your way from the couch to the kitchen and back to the couch again. You'll use way less paper towels the next time you knock over a glass of Moscato.

These Running Shoes Are Under $100 For A Limited Time

Brooks' highly-rated sneakers aren't just for working out. The kicks are gladly worn by active older folks, orthotic wearers, people recovering from surgery, and really, anyone who likes a roomy 'toe box.' Of course, runners love them too. Lucky for us, the Brooks neutral cushion Ghost 16 sneaks are currently 29% off. This is the lowest price we've ever seen them, so snatch 'em up #1 Amazon bestseller in road running shoes for men and women, the Ghost 16 gives you a neutral cushion without being bulky. Made with recycled materials, the shoes offer an EVA foam and rubber midsole that keeps you stable on the go without weighing you down. Reviewers called them the 'best shoes ever' for running, but also for providing lower back support and easing symptoms of plantar fasciitis. 'First tennis shoe I can walk comfortably for a whole day,' one wearer said. 'I stand on concrete floors all day at work and these shoes are the most comfortable ever,' another older models of the Ghost have soles infused with air, the 16 model uses nitrogen to be extra lightweight and 'floaty-feeling' on your extra grippy rubber outsole provides durability and traction on uneven ground. And the enhanced air mesh upper promises breathability, while still offering a secure fit. Best, the sole is specially designed to lessen extra pressure on the balls of your feet as you walk or run. 'Such a comfortable breathable shoe,' one review says. 'Feels like I'm walking on a cloud, and when you run for 12 hours at a hospital, that's saying a lot!'Both the women's and men's styles come in a bunch of natural and vibrant colorways, offering narrow, wide, and extra-wide options. The women's sizes run 5-13 and men's 7-15, both with pedorthist Michael Fishkin also named Brooks as a supportive and comfortable option for adults, saying it's a top-recommended brand for patients. Reviews for earlier models of the Ghost say these kicks are great for hiking, traveling, playing with kids and grandkids, running errands, and just hanging you're in the market for a solid pair of sneakers, the Ghost 16 is a fuss-free sneaker that's intended to keep you balanced and smooth-moving. And at this price, they're hard to beat. Read more love letters to the Brooks Ghost 16 sneakers from these 5-star Amazon reviews below. Promising reviews: 'I absolutely love the Ghost 16 neutral. I've searched for years for a comfortable all-day shoe, no matter if it's working those long 12-hour shifts, long walks or runs, or just to wear daily, no matter the reason. THIS is the shoe. I highly recommend it because my painful feet no longer hurt me as long as I wear these daily. I will be purchasing more colors only in the GHOST 16 NEUTRAL. Thank you, Brooks, for making a shoe that truly helps alleviate pain.' —Jessica'I have never worn Brooks, and these were super comfortable right out of the box. I walk 8 miles per day on average, and these have been a great addition to my rotation. So far, I have only used on flat, well-maintained trails. I have somewhat wide feet and these have fit fine (if you have really wide feet, they could be too narrow).' —DB'I love these! I don't think I realized how worn out my old shoes were until I put these on. The support and traction/slip resistance are great, and I'm obsessed with the color. I am a nurse working long hospital shifts, and Brooks Ghosts are my favorite — my Danskos, ASICS, and Brooks Trace all sit in the closet, abandoned when I head out for work. I haven't had any problems with plantar fasciitis since switching to these, and I think my knees might even hurt a little less. I work with kids, and the wild colors are a big hit. Definitely would recommend!' —Soda Pop'I have super wide feet, so it's always really hard for me to find shoes that fit and that don't hurt my feet after a few hours of wear. I purchased the x-wide and they are the first shoes I've tried that don't make my feet feel squished. I've worn them all day, and they required no breaking in. I just wish the x-wide was offered in more colors!' —Me'Brooks never disappoints. And in this case, exceeded my expectations. Typically, I carry my weight on the inside of my foot, so my feet turn inwards. The arch support is so good that I don't have to correct that anymore. Great for walking/running. Very comfortable and supportive without looking geriatric.' —Amy E. Wright Get them from Amazon for $99.95+ (available in women's sizes 5–13, men's sizes 7–13, and a variety of colors).

We're editors in our 20s to our 40s — here's everything we bought in June that we would actually recommend

In June, our small but mighty team of shopping, news and lifestyle editors tried dozens of products, ranging from an indoor smokeless grill to motion sickness glasses, trendy sneakers and everything in between. Because we're obsessed with testing products — "is it worth buying?" is one of our favourite questions — we've curated a list of things we've tried and, importantly, actually liked from the past month. The products listed below got our editors through heatwaves, bumpy car rides and summertime meal prep. Scroll ahead to shop the products we would wholeheartedly recommend, plus check out the 10 most popular items Yahoo Canada readers bought in June. This indoor grill is quite possibly the best gadget I've tested all year. I live in an apartment building with hundreds of units and we have only two communal barbecues at our disposal. I, a self-proclaimed BBQ queen, could/would/will grill every day in the summer if I had it my way — and this indoor smokeless grill makes that possible. The Chefman AccuGrill Smokeless Indoor Grill is compact — if you're cooking for more than two people, it might be too small for your needs — and fits perfectly on my kitchen countertop. It has a temperature range of 250˚F to 450˚F and heats up quickly. It comes with an integrated, removable probe that displays the live internal temperature of your food as it cooks, which is handy if you are without a food thermometer. As a small, indoor electric grill, the results will obviously differ from those of a larger propane BBQ, but it still sears beautifully and leaves prominent sear marks in its wake. I love it; I use it almost daily, and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to BBQ without having access to a larger grill. - Kayla Kuefler, Senior Shopping Editor It has been outrageously hot in Toronto recently and this portable, handheld hand has been an absolute godsend for keeping me cool in the scorching temperatures. It has two charging ports: USB C and USB, and a full charge genuinely lasts for over 15 hours. It has six speed options but honestly, the lowest speed is more than strong enough to cool you down. I also love that the fan is foldable, which means I can angle the head to get the perfect airflow. My only small gripe with this fan is that it's not exactly silent; it's not loud by any stretch of the imagination, but the sound is noticeable. I own three of these fans (including one in the pink option!) and never leave home without one of them — easily one of the best Amazon purchases I've ever made! — Sarah Rohoman, Producer These shoes are super trendy — you've probably seen them on cool Gen Z influencers. For more than three years, I coveted the fun look, but figured they A) wouldn't actually be any good and B) would look stupid on me, as someone who is extremely not a cool Gen Z influencer. As a lover of all things pink, when I spotted this colourway, unfortunately I was left with no choice but to purchase. My only regret? Not getting them earlier. They're extremely comfortable right out of the box, ridiculously lightweight and stand up to my intense walking regime (I log at least 20,000 steps per day) — and I think I manage to pull them off, too. If you're on the fence, I would definitely recommend them — in my opinion, they're better than New Balance, Hoka or Asics and are worth the high price tag. My only word of caution? The sizing can be a bit wonky. I went with a 6.5 women's (5.5 mens), a full size smaller than I usually wear. You might want to try them on in store, or shop from an online retailer with a flexible return policy. — Hilary Hagerman, Lifestyle & Commerce Managing Editor I've suffered from motion sickness for my entire life. I've gotten sick on short 15 minute trips, and even in the driver's seat of a car. Essentially, if I can't make myself fall asleep on a journey, it's going to be a rough experience. Since using motion sickness glasses, they've become one of my most essential items. Medication, gum, bracelets, patches, essential oils, I've tried it all, so I was certainly skeptical that these glasses would work, but they surprised me. These glasses don't completely eliminate every motion sickness symptoms I have. I do still felt a bit queasy, on longer trips in particular, but when I wear them I never get to the point where my stomach sinks and I feel like I'm going to vomit, which is a big win for me. I also don't have to take medication that makes me drowsy if I'm wearing these, which is great because I can actually be awake for the trip. They're foldable, easy to pack away and store, and really don't feel very uncomfortable. I rely on them so much now I have two pairs. One pair that stays in my most-used travel bag, and another that I take with me on short car rides close to home. Sure, they're not the most stylish accessory. But once you've thrown up next to a stranger because of motion sickness, you'll happily sacrifice fashion for function. — Elisabetta Bianchini, Senior New Editor To take a line from the great Katy Perry: "Do you ever feel like a plastic bag?" If you're having one of those days where can't muster the energy to put on an outfit that works, or just need ventilation in a sticky heatwave: I've got the dress for you! This Uniqlo AIRism Cotton T-Shirt dress is for those days where you feel like a plastic bag — or want to wear one — while staying on trend. The dress is spacious, allowing for relief on hot days, but is also a modest option for those looking to cover up or avoid burning in the sun. The sturdy cotton material holds its structure, isn't see-through, while still being breathable. It's perfect if you're out and about doing multiple errands, running around in a park, or enjoying a travel day. I was stopped by two women in a grocery store who particularly admired the deep pockets: they can fit a phone-and-a-half without looking bulky. Paired with some runners or flats, you can decide whether you want to dress it up or down, and it comes in multiple colours. The only downside is how big, is too big? If you're a smaller statured person, the XS and XXS are still quite wide. The dress is meant to be ankle-length, but for a shorter person (I'm 5'0'), it does graze my feet. Customers widely seem to prefer the oversized fit, though — people who usually buy M and L are able to comfortably slide into the smaller sizes with the ideal amount of space, avoiding the nightgown aesthetic. — Farah Syed, News and Homepage Managing Editor This is the only eyeshadow in my (very minimalist) makeup bag, and for good reason. The shimmering, oyster-gold shade seems universally flattering and reflects light beautifully, brightening the eyes. While some reviewers report creasing, I've found it stays put. The cream formula is long-wearing, vegan and free of parabens and formaldehydes. You can apply it with fingers for a quick look or use a small brush for more precise, even coverage. I used to prefer cream shadow sticks for their convenience, but this is a worthwhile upgrade — I even invested in a brush. The finish is soft yet impactful, and although it's a bit pricey, the quality makes it worth the splurge for me. — Mary Cowan, Yahoo Canada Editor-in-Chief Cordless isn't always better than corded — that's the lesson I've learned with hair clippers. I've owned two rechargeable trimmers that have since been rendered pretty much useless, with one's charging cord being misplaced and the other no longer able to hold a strong enough charge to trim a whole beard. I also recently tried the Philips OneBlade, but — even with a guard — left me in shock when it essentially took off all of my facial hair. That's led me on a hunt for a corded clipper in hopes that the third time's the charm when it comes to my luck with hair trimmers. I've come across the beloved Wahl Peanut in my online research, and in June, I decided to finally crack open its (plastic packaging) shell. So far, I can't imagine ever going back to a cordless hair clipper. Despite having a tiny size that'll be handy for travel, this four-inch-long hair trimmer packs a powerful punch when it comes to performance; as soon as you push forward its switch, it feels like you're holding a McDonald's Snack Wrap that's vibrating at the strength of a massage gun. It's a great balance between high power and vacation-friendly compactness that's well-suited for my personal needs. I've read numerous comments from Wahl Peanut owners saying they've managed to hold onto it for several years, all without many signs of wear. For the sake of trashed hair trimmers, let's hope mine gets the same longevity. — Chris Stoodley, Senior Lifestyle and News Editor If you know me, it's no secret that I'm a huge fan of Rhode Skin by Hailey Bieber — especially the Glazing Milk, which has become a non-negotiable must-have in my skincare regimen. I was eyeing the Pocket Blush for quite some time, but never bit the bullet because I consistently reminded myself of how many blushes I already own. However, I couldn't resist for too long and eventually purchased the highly raved-about product (well, I technically purchased three of them — oops). I now proudly own the shades Piggy, Freckle and, my favourite of all, Toasted Teddy. Turns out I was wrong for many months because I definitely did need to add this product to my collection, despite owning too many blushes already. Not only does the satiny, easy-to-apply formula apply perfectly and melt into the skin, but it also has hydrating benefits. I can honestly say it's like no other, and the shades are top-tier. Plus, the packaging makes it easy to take on the go for touch-ups (because we all know blush is the first thing to fade). — Melina Brum, Shopping Editor We shared our top picks for June, but what are yours?
