Mel C flaunts her sizzling six-pack as she shares slew of snaps from recent trip Down Under - including a loved-up display with new boyfriend Chris Dingwall

Mel C flaunted her rock hard abs in a slew of snaps on Instagram on Thursday while reflecting on her recent trip Down Under. Sporty Spice, 50, jetted off to Australia in March with her boyfriend Chris Dingwall ahead of the Australian Grand Prix - where she was booked to play a DJ set. But after returning back to the UK in preparation for festival season, Mel is seemingly suffering with holiday blues as she gave fans an insight into her getaway. Captioning the post: 'Missing life down under,' the first photo shared by the pop star showed her indulging in some seaside yoga while showing off her impressive physique. Donning a pair of shorts and a dark blue sports bra, Mel flaunted her sizzling six-pack while stretching her arms towards the sky for the snap. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new Showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. Her abs were again on show in an later photo, with Sporty Spice unsurprisingly enjoying a visit to the gym in a matching shorts and bra combo. It wasn't all sports and yoga for Mel Down Under however, with the slew revealing that she had taken in a Dua Lipa performance during her trip away. And the 50-year-old seemed to be having a whale of a time watching the British superstar's Radical Optimism tour, with Mel filmed dancing the night away in the crowd. In another video, Mel revealed exactly how she manages to wear stilettos for an entire day - by taping her toes together. The footage showed a man - presumably her stylist - prepping the Spice Girl to slip into a pair of heels while explaining exactly how the method works. 'The science says that by taping toe two and three together, it will redistribute the pressure on the foot meaning Melanie can do a full day in the world's most heeled high heels,' he said. '(Our inspiration is) Vanessa Williams while performing in The Devil Wears Prada, she told the world that this was the secret to getting through a full day in stilettos, and let's see if she's a liar.' Mel also put on a loved-up display with her film director boyfriend Chris, who is believed to be in his 40s, in a selfie shared to her Instagram on Thursday. While it remains unclear how the couple met, they confirmed romance rumours last June when they attended Glastonbury together. Chris - who stands at around 185cm tall - is a model who has also tried his hand at acting, writing and film directing. During their time together in Australia, the couple were pictured sharing a cheeky kiss while enjoying a day on the beach. Since going public with their romance, Mel and Chris have also enjoyed a summer break in Ibiza together. They were seen sharing a steamy kiss during a PDA-filled boat ride on the island. In July, Mel also cosied up to her new partner as they enjoyed a day out at Wimbledon in south west London. The singer keeps her love life largely out of the spotlight but previously spoke about how she was banned from dating in the early days of the Spice Girls - while her bandmates were free to pursue romances. 'Looking back what struck me was it was one rule for one and another for the others, right?' she previously told Australia's The Project. 'I think when you are vulnerable as well, people go, I don't think it's good for you'. Mel said the rule for the other women was, 'she is fine, she can have a boyfriend, she can cope with having a boyfriend, she is strong enough but you are not'. 'It makes you question yourself when you are already vulnerable,' Mel added. On Thursday, it was reported that Simon Fuller – the man who managed the band, created Brand Beckham and helped found Victoria Beckham's fashion empire – is keen to organise a tour to mark the group's 30th anniversary next year. He has the support of Mel C, Mel B and Emma Bunton, and has spent more than a year trying to win Geri Halliwell-Horner round to the idea. A source told The Mail's Alison Boshoff: 'Geri isn't interested in stepping foot on a stage again.' So the plan she agreed to was for Abba-style avatars of the girls, which would 'perform' in concert. But Victoria is being left out of discussions and will not be part of the virtual line-up. A source said: 'Simon Fuller planning a tour has caused yet another schism. Victoria is f****d off that they have gone with him and there is no way that she will be a part of it. 'The bad feeling seems to go back to her and David having to spend millions on buying him out of Beckham Brand Holdings. He still has a stake and board seat on her fashion business. There is resentment there. 'Geri wants to do the avatars idea. She isn't interested in coming back and doing a tour. She doesn't need to. This is the one idea which Simon has had which has tempted her.' The source added: 'Simon Fuller is the only person who could get Geri to rejoin the Spice Girls, but he is the one person in the world who could never persuade Victoria.' No wonder only Mel C and Emma Bunton went to Mel B's 50th birthday celebrations in Leeds last weekend. All of the 'girls' showed up for Victoria's 50th birthday last year, but it seems that they are in separate camps once again. In fact, there has not yet been a meeting to discuss plans with Geri and the other Spice Girls in the same room because 'at any given point

Controversial influencer who moved her family to the US slammed for complaining about cost of living after buying two new phones and going on a trip to the Bahamas

A controversial Gold Coast influencer has copped backlash from her followers after complaining about the cost of living in the US. Kat Clark has relocated to America with her husband Jonathan and their 14-year-old daughter Deja and the family made the big move last week. After just a week in the States, she has moaned about the cost of groceries after splashing out on expensive phones, clothes and a manicure. Kat began her rant by saying she was nervous about finding a rental home in the US after the family had ben living out of an AirBnB for two weeks. She said she and her husband had a place lined up, but decided they didn't like the lavish pad after they saw it in person. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. 'But then I started to freak out even more because of the cost of living in America. I thought Australia was bad,' she added. Kat went on to show her followers a strawberry punnet that retails for $19.99 from expensive grocery chain Erewhon. 'We also have to buy a new car, new furniture, literally everything,' Kat added. But moments later, Kat showed her and her teenage daughter Deja going clothes shopping. 'I know what you're thinking, I was just complaining about the cost of living, why the hell am I going shopping?' she said. 'We got some news that we just couldn't say no to. You know how we moved to American for more opportunities? 'Well Deja was invited on her first brand trip to the Bahamas. I didn't want her to miss out. That's the whole reason why we moved over here.' Just days later, Kat was back on TikTok with another video complaining she was struggling to find a new 'nail lady' as she treated herself to a manicure and pedicure. She then revealed she and her husband Jonathan had bought two new iPhones for their Australian sim cards, only to realise the mobiles only take digital e-sims. 'Basically, we have two phones that we're literally never going to use,' she said. Days later, Kat was uploading content of her lavish brand trip in the Bahamas with her daughter. Several of Kat's followers slammed the influencer for complaining about the cost of living while enjoying a luxury trip. 'Wow, absolutely insufferable. They VOLUNTARILY decided to move to the US at one of the worst times imaginable and basically did no research,' one person wrote on Reddit. 'Now she's complaining about the prices of groceries there, finding a nail salon etc. meanwhile buying bags and bags of expensive shopping, two new iPhones (that they realised they can't use) and going on a "holiday" to the Bahamas literally just after moving there.' 'Is she rage baiting? What the actual f*** is wrong with these people?' they finished. Another Reddit user agreed, saying: 'I hadn't seen it. I went to look and see I wish I didn't see it so disgusting. 'I barely eat each week due to the crazy cost of things in Australia and she's off trying to find a nail salon like hello and then burns money on phones.' 'Like who the fk moves to the other side of the world with no plan?' added a third. 'At this point it has to be rage bait. She knows what will make people comment/talk about her and she's using it to her full advantage,' said someone else. 'At the end of the day she puts out content, and anything can be content.'

Raffles Bali hotel review: a tranquil fly-and-flop pad focused on wellness

Just 30 minutes' drive from the airport yet a world away from the Bali bustle, this sanctuary-like hotel is set in 57 lush acres, with jasmine-scented paths that wind all the way down to the Indian Ocean. Over a decade in the making, Raffles Bali finally opened in 2021; it's an ideal spot to fully unwind in absolute peace and privacy (many guests arrive after a long journey and simply stay put for a few days) and dip into the spiritual wellness offering. Service is friendly and unobtrusive and the southeast Asian food is delicious. When you do want to venture out, Jimbaran Bay, known for its seafood restaurants and two-and-a-half-miles of sand, is a short walk away. This article contains affiliate links, which may earn us revenue Score 10/10All 32 villas, dotted across a hillside, share the same sleek Balinese design: vaulted rattan ceilings and hardwood floors, teak furniture and embroidered batik wall hangings. Hilltop pool villas are a smidge smaller than the others but their elevated position brings more sweeping views of the sea; ocean pool villas and panoramic pool villas are closer to the water. Each villa has sliding doors to a terrace with a pool, dining table and thatched cabana. Cots and babysitting services are available. A butler is also on hand for any requests. Standalone bathtubs are perfectly positioned for staring out at the horizon during a long soak. Score 10/10Breakfast and dinner are served at Rumari, a fine-dining southeast Asian restaurant that looks out over the treetops. Overseen by the French culinary director Gaetan Biesuz, it has a local-first ethos: 80 per cent of produce is from the Indonesian archipelago; the other 20 per cent has to be imported. Both the à la carte and tasting menus (seven or nine courses) showcase dishes inspired by parts of the country — it might be mud crab with pomelo from West Sumatra or beef with corn from South Sulawesi. The adjoining Writers Bar is a great spot for a sundowner or a post-dinner nightcap. At breakfast you'll find everything from fresh fruit and chia pudding to Jimbaran lobster omelette and Java-style chicken soup. Lunch (and more casual dinner) is served at the Loloan Beach Bar & Grill: tacos, wood-fired pizzas and seafood platters. Children's menus are available at both restaurants. Lovely private dining options include the Farm Terrace for family-style feasts cooked over fire (up to six guests) and the Secret Cave, which serves just one table a night. • Discover our full guide to Bali• More great hotels in Bali Score 9/10Tap into Bali's spiritual side through soul blessings, fire cleansing rituals and treatments such as 7 Chakras Balancing, which begins with a numerology reading and dowsing rods to check the energy level of each chakra. Tibetan singing bowl meditation happens in the Secret Cave; couples can request the Sanctuary, an open-air pavilion, for massages; and for early risers, the best way to begin the day is with sunrise yoga on the beach. There are tennis courts, hilly paths around the grounds for hiking and jogging (you can borrow bicycles to explore too), a gym, and a 25m infinity pool next to the Loloan Beach Bar & Grill. Score 9/10Just south of Jimbaran Bay. The hotel is a ten-minute stroll from Muaya beach (which then becomes Jimbaran beach) and its cluster of low-key, seafood cafés on the sand. Within walking distance is the Samasta Lifestyle Village, a small open-air shopping complex with boutiques and restaurants. The Uluwatu Temple (especially lovely at sunset) and Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park are each a 30-minute drive away. Motorbikes are the best way to get around — or ask the hotel to book a taxi.
