Virtual Enforcement Court streamlines 400000 applications for enforcement in 2024
RIYADH — The Virtual Enforcement Court, established by the Ministry of Justice, initiated approximately 400000 applications for enforcement during the year 2024. The court facilitates the advancement of artificial intelligence tools and guarantees the fulfillment of all enforcement processes without human intervention.
The court played a significant role in enhancing the processes within the enforcement court by increasing operational efficiency through the automation of procedures, reducing the enforcement period, integrating electronically with authorities, and advancing artificial intelligence and data analysis to foresee potential problems and challenges. Additionally, it implemented automatic classification of enforcement requests and electronic verification of bonds, all under judicial supervision.
Reliability improved with intelligent verification and automated review, all contributing to an enhanced user experience and offering fully digital services, from application submission to collection and completion. The virtual enforcement court allows beneficiaries to gain comprehensive and integrated insights into enforcement requests, including the status of procedures.
It enhances the application submission process, making it easier and more effective, thereby saving beneficiaries time. Additionally, it offers access to complete reports on transfers and key procedures, whether the beneficiary is an entity or an individual with multiple requests, along with notifications and alerts regarding requirements and procedures.
The virtual court has enhanced the efficiency of the audit and review process, allowing for automatic review of application entries during submission. This ensures that the application timeline is tracked from submission until it reaches the relevant department. As a result, beneficiaries can accurately follow all procedures, leading to greater transparency. Furthermore, the implementation dashboard on Najiz.sa provides beneficiaries with direct and immediate access to the latest enforcement requests.
Case Preparation Center enhances judicial efficiency
Also, the Ministry of Justice has institutionalized the judicial system to enhance the quality of judicial rulings and ensure the administration of justice, with the Case Preparation Center significantly increasing court efficiency and expediting judicial proceedings. The Center has completed over 200,000 services, supported by 243 legal researchers, during the year 2024.
The Case Preparation Center is tasked with providing a variety of judicial support services aimed at case preparation, including the initial review of cases, drafting preliminary judgments, and managing notifications, expert witness assignments, and judicial requests. The objective is to shorten litigation times, improve judicial quality, and enhance client satisfaction.
Prior to the establishment of the center, judicial panels were responsible for the study of cases, drafting judgments, and other legal procedures. The introduction of the Case Preparation Center has led to its Case Management Department undertaking the formal and substantive examination of cases. This involves creating case management plans and handling evidence procedures to finalize case files, all managed through an automated digital system adhering to standardized operational guidelines.
