Celestyal shares first look of new Celestyal Discovery cabins ahead of inaugural Arabian Gulf season - Middle East Business News and Information

Mid East Info12-06-2025
Dubai, UAE: Celestyal has released the first official images of its enhanced cabin offering onboard Celestyal Discovery, following the ship's second extensive winter refit in Athens earlier this year.
The 1360-guest ship returned to service in March 2025 to launch the line's Mediterranean season and will head to the Arabian Gulf for December for its maiden deployment in the region.
Among the upgrades are 47 new staterooms – including 30 'Junior Dream Suites' and two 'Grand Horizon Suites' located above the bridge with 15.5m² balconies – increasing the ship's premium capacity by more than 50%. Fifteen additional interior 'Cosmos Cabins' have also been added, resulting in a 7.4% overall capacity uplift.
The new staterooms were developed in partnership with design agency AMK, incorporating design elements inspired by the regions the ship visits.
Lee Haslett, chief commercial officer at Celestyal, said: 'This winter's refit programme onboard Celestyal Discovery speaks volumes about our continued investment into our guest experience. We've not only added more balcony staterooms but enhanced our premium cabin options to meet growing demand for more space and comfort, while preserving the small-ship charm and personal service that we're known for. These images showcase just how far we've come, and we're incredibly proud to be taking Celestyal Discovery to the Arabian Gulf for the very first time this December.'
Celestyal Discovery will make its Arabian Gulf debut on December 12, 2025, joining its fleet mate Celestyal Journey, which returns to the region on December 6, with a Grand Prix celebratory sailing.
The ships will offer a season of three-, four- and seven-night cruises from Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Doha, with sailings scheduled through to March 2026 – and set to continue for the next three consecutive years.
Celestyal Discovery will homeport from Abu Dhabi for the next three seasons, and the Arabian Gulf itineraries include: A weekly three-night 'Iconic Arabia' cruise: roundtrip from Abu Dhabi (Friday to Monday) with calls to Dubai and Sir Bani Yas Island, offering beach and wildlife safari experiences. Prices from $339.
A weekly four-night 'Iconic Arabia' cruise: roundtrip from Abu Dhabi (Monday to Friday) with calls to Doha, Dubai (via Ras Al Khaimah), and Khasab in Oman. Prices from $429.
All three- and four-night 'Iconic Arabia' cruises are combinable, with seven nights from $689.
The release of the imagery coincides with the recent launch of Celestyal's Summer Promotion, running until August 31, 2025, offering up to 60% off across 87 sailings from June 2025 to March 2027.
All promotional fares include meals, soft drinks, WiFi, port fees and gratuities. Guests will also receive 25% extra on all credit added to their CelestyalPay tab before departure, earning up to €250 onboard spend.

Mallorca, natural magic 365 days a year - Middle East Business News and Information

Parc Natural S Albufera de Mallorca, Muro y sa Pobla, Mallorca, Balearic Islands, Spain In Mallorca, nature is not just scenery: it is identity, history, and future. This beautiful Mediterranean island has also become a benchmark in the conservation of protected areas and is committed to responsible tourism that invites not only discovery but also care. Mallorca's five natural parks are a true spectacle: from the lush oak forests of the Llevant Peninsula to the cliffs surrounding the island of Sa Dragonera, Mallorca hosts a network of natural parks and monuments that are genuine biodiversity refuges. In Mondragó, sea and mountains embrace; in S'Albufera, birds find one of their main sanctuaries. The Serra de Tramuntana, the island's green lung and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, preserves the natural and cultural essence of Mallorca intact. And in the Cabrera National Park and its islets, the starry night and silence recall what unspoiled nature means. The island is also home to unique natural monuments such as the Torrent de Pareis, a spectacular canyon in the Serra de Tramuntana, or the Fonts Ufanes, springs that emerge from the earth after rainfall, as if the landscape itself were breathing. These places remind us of the importance of preserving what nature gives us. But Mallorca is not content with just protecting its treasures: it also seeks to inspire and involve. On the island, a fundamental principle is that knowing Mallorca is not only about visiting it, but also loving and caring for it. That is why efforts are made to consolidate responsible tourism based on respect for the natural environment, local communities, cultural heritage, and traditions. Through the Pledge, a manifesto that promotes conscious and responsible tourism, Mallorca offers a shared commitment to lay the foundations for a sustainable model and sets the roadmap toward a future where conservation and enjoyment go hand in hand. Everyone who steps on the island is invited to join so that its natural heritage remains alive forever and for all. Simple gestures such as not leaving litter, picking up even what is not ours, or respecting marked trails become part of a great chain of collective care. Protecting natural spaces also means making sustainable decisions in daily life: walking or cycling, reducing water and energy consumption, supporting accommodations with good practices, or at sea, not touching marine life and avoiding anchoring on posidonia meadows. Because every small gesture counts. Mallorca is committed to tourism that not only contemplates its natural treasures but also values, respects, and cares for them. Mallorca is not only visited, it is lived. And in that living, every step should also be a promise: to keep alive the beauty that makes it unique. Join the pact for the future To be part of this transformation, we invite you to join the Pledge, Commitment to Responsible Tourism. By signing it, you not only support more conscious tourism but also actively contribute to the preservation of our island. Visit the website and discover how you can be part of tomorrow's Mallorca at . About Mallorca: Mallorca is a Spanish island located in the heart of the Mediterranean Sea. Renowned internationally as a premier tourist destination, it offers a unique combination of breathtaking natural landscapes, vibrant culture, historic architecture, and authentic traditions. The island is served by an international airport with direct connections to major European and Spanish cities, typically within an average flight time of 2.5 hours. Mallorca is the ideal place to discover the true Mediterranean spirit and can be enjoyed year-round thanks to its mild climate and gentle winters.

Egypt, Turkey Eye $15 Billion in Annual Trade as Ties Strengthen

Taarek Refaat Egypt and Turkey are setting their sights on raising bilateral trade to $15 billion annually, as both nations deepen cooperation across key economic sectors. The announcement came during talks in the Mediterranean city of El Alamein, where Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdel Ati met his Turkish counterpart, Hakan Fidan. The two ministers first held a private meeting, followed by expanded discussions with their respective delegations. According to Egypt's foreign ministry, Cairo is seeking to attract more Turkish direct investment and expand collaboration in manufacturing, energy, transport, tourism, and other strategic industries. Abdel Ati stressed the importance of continuing to implement the outcomes of the inaugural High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council meeting, held in Istanbul in September 2024 under the leadership of both presidents. 'The goal is to build on the agreements already reached in economic, investment, and sectoral cooperation to launch a new phase of partnership between our two countries,' Abdel Ati said. The Egyptian minister also expressed appreciation for Ankara's official endorsement of Egypt's candidate for UNESCO's Director-General post, former Minister of Antiquities Khaled El-Enany. On his part, Turkey's top diplomat described the bilateral relationship as 'making progress on all fronts,' reiterating the joint ambition to reach the $15 billion trade target. The ministers highlighted the symbolic significance of 2025, marking the centennial of formal diplomatic relations between Egypt and Turkey, a milestone both sides say they want to commemorate with concrete economic achievements. read more CBE: Deposits in Local Currency Hit EGP 5.25 Trillion Morocco Plans to Spend $1 Billion to Mitigate Drought Effect Gov't Approves Final Version of State Ownership Policy Document Egypt's Economy Expected to Grow 5% by the end of 2022/23- Minister Qatar Agrees to Supply Germany with LNG for 15 Years Business Oil Prices Descend amid Anticipation of Additional US Strategic Petroleum Reserves Business Suez Canal Records $704 Million, Historically Highest Monthly Revenue Business Egypt's Stock Exchange Earns EGP 4.9 Billion on Tuesday Business Wheat delivery season commences on April 15 News Israeli-Linked Hadassah Clinic in Moscow Treats Wounded Iranian IRGC Fighters Arts & Culture "Jurassic World Rebirth" Gets Streaming Date News China Launches Largest Ever Aircraft Carrier News Ayat Khaddoura's Final Video Captures Bombardment of Beit Lahia Business Egyptian Pound Undervalued by 30%, Says Goldman Sachs Videos & Features Tragedy Overshadows MC Alger Championship Celebration: One Fan Dead, 11 Injured After Stadium Fall Lifestyle Get to Know 2025 Eid Al Adha Prayer Times in Egypt Arts & Culture South Korean Actress Kang Seo-ha Dies at 31 after Cancer Battle Arts & Culture Lebanese Media: Fayrouz Collapses after Death of Ziad Rahbani Sports Get to Know 2025 WWE Evolution Results
