JoJo Siwa calls Mickey Rourke a ‘rat', says she's ‘head over heels' for Chris Hughes: 'You can't help who you love'
JoJo Siwa has spoken out about her dramatic Celebrity Big Brother experience, describing actor Mickey Rourke as 'some rat' after his remarks about her sexuality, and confirming that her relationship with fellow housemate Chris Hughes is no longer platonic. 'It's been a beautiful development, a beautiful connection, and I'm absolutely head over heels for him and he's the same way,' she told The Guardian. The 22-year-old pop star and business mogul revealed that the reality show not only transformed her perspective but also brought unexpected joy into her life. 'By a landslide, it is the best thing that's ever happened to me,' she said of the experience. Siwa and Hughes, who defended her during Rourke's offensive comments in the house, formed a close bond that quickly sparked fan speculation. Though she initially denied any romantic involvement, Siwa now admits the relationship has evolved. 'You can't help who you love,' she said, expressing how natural their connection has become. Despite early tabloid rumours and her recent split from Australian actor Kath Ebbs, Siwa insists her happiness is genuine. Recalling her conflict with Rourke, Siwa reflected, 'As it was happening, I just froze.' Despite the pain, she remained composed, stating firmly, 'Some rat doesn't get to ruin this for me.' She also shared how much joy Chris has brought into her life: 'Literally yesterday, I was massaging my cheeks; I've never been in pain from smiling so much.' Siwa and Hughes' relationship began during Celebrity Big Brother UK in April 2025, where their bond quickly deepened. By May, they confirmed their romance during a holiday in Mexico, followed by a rose-filled reunion at Heathrow. A recent Snapchat post showing Hughes kissing Siwa's forehead further solidified their growing closeness.

Man threatens to sue DDG after DreamCon fight over 'doo doo garbage' insult
A man known as Lil Jay has announced plans to sue Twitch streamer and rapper DDG, his brother DuB, and their crew after an altercation at DreamCon 2025. The incident occurred after Lil Jay repeatedly called DDG 'doo doo garbage,' a nickname that's been used online following recent abuse allegations made by singer Halle Bailey against the streamer. Footage from the event, now viral on social media, shows Lil Jay being punched and thrown to the ground by DuB, DDG's brother, before security intervened. Jay claims his chain was broken during the fight and that he was banned from the event immediately after. In a TikTok posted after the incident, Jay stated, 'I gotta take legal action against him, his brother, somebody out here. That's unacceptable for real.' He added that he believed the 'doo doo garbage' nickname was 'all jokes' and didn't expect such a violent reaction. Meanwhile, DDG responded to the incident by warning others not to use the phrase, saying the last person who did 'lost some Mario coins.' DuB also responded, mocking Jay's legal threats and stating, 'You cannot sue nobody for trying to fight me… it didn't go the way that your brain thought it was gonna go.' The incident has further fueled controversy surrounding DDG, who is already facing public backlash amid serious allegations from Halle Bailey.
