Global apparel retailer UNIQLO has officially announced the launch of 'Modernity in Motion,' the latest collection from its special line, UNIQLO: C. Designed by UNIQLO Creative Director, renowned British-born fashion designer Clare Waight Keller, this collection is set to redefine seasonal wardrobes by seamlessly blending formal elegance with casual comfort. It combines sophisticated tailoring with practical, functional fabrics, aiming for a versatile, all-season appeal.
The initial release kicks off by expanding the UNIQLO: C's signature sweatshirt line with a fresh new crewneck style. For women, highlights include a chic cropped cocoon shirt and culottes in a contemporary midi length, promising effortless comfort from late summer into the cooler months. The second phase of the collection delves deeper into winter essentials. For the first time ever, UNIQLO introduces HEATTECH Cashmere Blend for men, alongside elevated outerwear and luxurious cashmere knitwear. These pieces are thoughtfully designed as new Fall/Winter classics, promising both superior comfort and elegant style.
'This collection embodies the spirit of movement and function in wardrobe essentials. I focused on reflecting technical principles in modern silhouettes', says Clare Waight Keller. She continues by highlighting this season's incorporation of PUFFTECH, a cutting-edge technology that allows for incredible performance of warmth in an ultra-lightweight jacket with a completely seam-free finish. For womenswear, the collection also explores tailoring in the softest of modern technical tweeds to create effortless clothing mixed with seasonal favourites in HEATTECH and cashmere, expressed through a jewel tone palette.
Most warmth ever at this thinness – HEATTECH Cashmere Blend for men
HEATTECH Cashmere Blend is a perfect harmony of natural materials and HEATTECH functionality. The men's line includes two types, crewneck and turtleneck. For women, the lineup introduces a fresh palette of jewel tones, featuring sophisticated shades like sand, forest green, navy, and burgundy.
A seamless blend of sophisticated design and functional materials
New to the lineup are jackets, hoodies, and coats made with cutting-edge PUFFTECH material from Toray. With the same heat retention as down, these items are also perfect for layering. Photos: Chandni Bainz/Instagram, Ishaan Khatter/Instagram The relationship between Bollywood actor Ishaan Khatter and Malaysian-born model Chandni Bainz has become a hot topic as the two are frequently seen spending time together. Although there has been no official statement from either party, their closeness has fuelled speculation that they are romantically involved. Previously, Ishaan has said that he rather not share too much about his romantic relationships as he prefers the focus to remain on his career. Although the brother of Shahid Kapoor is keen to protect his partner's privacy, he seems to be open about showing affection publicly "I think it's very important to respect your partner's privacy as well. When something is good for me, I want to protect it. That's my instinct. I don't want to hide or lie or anything like that,' the son of actors Rajesh Khattar and Neelima Azeem reportedly said. In Venice, Banksy mural 'The Migrant Child' removed for restoration

Art restorers have removed a deteriorating piece of graffiti by the street artist Banksy titled "The Migrant Child' from the side of a building overlooking a Venetian canal to preserve the work for future public display, officials said on Thursday. The removal from the wall of Palazzo San Pantalon was carried out in consultation with people close to the secretive British street artist, according to the Venice-based bank Banca Ifis' art programme that promotes art and culture. The Bansky work 'The Migrant Child' depicts a shipwrecked child holding a pink smoke bomb and wearing a lifejacket appeared along Rio di San Pantalon in Venice in May 2019. Photo: AP The artwork depicting a shipwrecked child holding a pink smoke bomb and wearing a lifejacket appeared along Rio di San Pantalon in Venice in May 2019, and was acknowledged by Banksy. Marked on online maps, it has become a tourist destination. But six years of neglect had led to the deterioration of about a third of the work, the bank said. The restoration is being overseen by Federico Borgogni, who previously removed dust and cleaned the surface before detaching a section of the palazzo's facade overnight Wednesday, Banca Ifis said in a statement. The bank is financing the project, but didn't release the cost of the operation. The bank intends to display the work to the public as part of free cultural events organized by Ifis art once restoration is completed. No time frame was given. - AP
