24 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Bag Deals Worth Your $$$
Head Straight to the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale
I can always count on Nordstrom to deliver some serious steals on arm candy, and this sale is no different. I spotted everything from a celebrity-approved JW PEI clutch to a practical backpack from TikTok's trendiest travel brand, Béis. To no one's surprise, deals on coveted labels like Coach and Madewell are selling out fast—I saw three styles disappear in the time it took me to write this article. What's more, the sale ends on Monday, August 4 so you're running out of time to score the chicest accessories of the season on sale.
You don't need to spend a small fortune to upgrade your handbag collection. Case in point: I found all of these adorable purses on sale at Nordstrom for $150 or less. Embrace luxe texture with a suede pick from brand like AllSaints and Kurt Geiger, a faux leather bag from JW PEI (a celebrity favorite, FYI), or score a mini version of the Longchamp Le Pliage for just $86—your wallet can thank me later.
Earthy colors and animal print are fall fashion staples for a reason—so you'll be able to wear them for years to come. This suede-wrapped tote from Allsaints and Rag & Bone's Prospect Tote are worthy investments for the office and beyond. But if you're looking for a playful night-out pick, I'd go with Dolce Vita's calf hair shoulder bag—it's reversible (!!) for endless styling options.
Need some last-minute luggage for all your fabulous end-of-summer plans? TikTok swears by Baboon to the Moon's mini duffle for skirting those ridiculous airplane carry-on fees—it fits a ton of clothing, but still passes as a personal item. Or, hop on the fanny pack bandwagon with this roomy belt bag from Zella. It's a hands-free way to organize your passport, headphones, and other essentials, and it's a steal at just $20.
If you're still carrying around the same Vera Bradley wristlet from 2013 (no judgment!), now is a great time to finally upgrade your wallet. This studded style from Rebecca Minkoff and this buttery-smooth leather piece from AllSaints are so on trend, and even better? They won't break the bank. Although you won't find a Labubu among Nordstrom's sale inventory (tragic), Maison de Sabre offers a more elevated take on the bag charm trend with leather fruit accessories that double as an AirTag case.

Black Cat's Double-Standard Cuddle Time With Mom and Dad Is Cracking Everyone Up
Black Cat's Double-Standard Cuddle Time With Mom and Dad Is Cracking Everyone Up originally appeared on Parade Pets. Every cat parent knows that kitties pick their favorite human if they live in a home with more than one. They're not very subtle about it, and some felines have no hesitation in reminding their non-favorite of this fact any time they get the opportunity. We see this play out in one hilarious video of a sassy Black Cat who has very different reactions depending on which human in the home is giving him some love. He has a huge double standard when it's cuddle time with Mom and Dad, and it's making everyone laugh. Take a look at this in action! TikTok user Salem (@certifiedbeanboyy) shared a video of a really beautiful Black Cat named Salem. He loves his parents, but there's a clear favorite between Mom and Dad, and it's pretty obvious. Salem is the happiest cat when he's sitting with his mom, enjoying some ear scratches. We can see his happy paws making small air biscuits and drifting off into sleep. But the vibe 100% changes when it's Dad trying to give Salem some love. Of course, he goes for the belly rub, which is always a risky move with cats, and instead of getting calm air biscuits, Salem attacks his dad's hand with all four the comments, people had a good giggle at the difference between how he treats his mom and his dad, clearly favoring one over the other. One person wrote, "My husband has scratches all up his arms from the cat who would never raise a finger at me." Another shared, "Somehow my husband and I swapped, and I'm the gremlin parent while he's the gentle one." Someone else added, "Big difference there, duhhhhh. Mom is petting. Dad is playing. Show dad petting… the cat." Other comments included, "The rabbit feet with my hand stuck in his paws is the worst," "It's always more fun with Dad," "Dad activates the kill subject and defends belly mode," and "It's the other way around for me." One joked, "It's so hard being a single parent [because] I gotta be both so she never knows what's coming." How Cats Choose Their Favorite Person According to Union Lake Veterinary Hospital & Pet Services, cats form a strong bond with humans who make them feel safe and comfortable, and there are several ways to foster this bond. They explain that spending time with them, matching their interests, petting them often, and talking to them are great ways to help build a relationship and establish trust, becoming a favorite human. While it's clear Salem likes to play with his two parents in different ways, we're sure there's so much love between them. 🐶SIGN UP to get 'pawsitivity' delivered right to your inbox with inspiring & entertaining stories about our furry & feathered friends🐾🐾 Black Cat's Double-Standard Cuddle Time With Mom and Dad Is Cracking Everyone Up first appeared on Parade Pets on Aug 5, 2025 This story was originally reported by Parade Pets on Aug 5, 2025, where it first appeared. If You've Never Been A Dress Person, These 31 Options May Change Your Mind
A lantern sleeve mini I'm sure Belle would wear for a summertime jaunt to the library in 2025. A floral maxi dress can satisfy the Debbie Jellinsky part of your personal style. (Joan Cusack is such an icon in Addams Family Values). A floral mini dress if you've gotta look really cute, really fast after flying over The North Pole to get wherever you're vacationing. A long-sleeve boho dress to help you realize your easy-breezy style. A belted ruffled dress will help cut back on the math you have to do to figure out if a top will tuck neatly into a dress. This gives you that look for half the effort. A one-shouldered frock prime for that May wedding you've got on your schedule where you'll see a ton of old college buds and, therefore, will have a horde of pics from it after. A *pocketed* maxi will be super easy to wear, even if your plans for the day is to just roll around on the floor with the puppy. (Am I invited?) An easy, breezy patchwork mini dress to wear when you need to look cute but want the least amount of fabric possible touching your skin. (Aka, most summer days.) A knee-length halter dress available in a range of colors and prints so you'll probably wanna snag a few for all kinds of seasonal photo ops. A floral midi built to impress — especially if a babydoll or nap dress shape isn't your thing. A black organza dress that's giving Wednesday season two. But you shouldn't wait around 'til that airs to wear it! (You can get a plain black slip to wear underneath!) A drawstring bodycon dress with some major versatility — you can adjust the drawstring for the perfect length and look, then throw all kinds of outerwear over it as needed. (There are sooo many pregnant reviewers who love it!) A chic mini dress that reviewers say is lightweight and breathable, so it'll prob end up in the top of your rotation come late-sprint. A tiger-print dress passersby will assume you bought on a luxurious, tropical vacation. Go ahead. Let 'em assume. But then if they ask, be super helpful and point them to this Etsy shop chock full of dresses in glorious prints. A linen babydoll dress you can have custom-made to fit your measurements. Plus, that super cute low back (and the summer heat) will be the perfect excuse to go bra-less. Life is short. Bra bands are too tight. A halter-neck sundress in a maxi silhouette and a variety of patterns to help elevate your grand entrance — even if it's just popping in the store to buy some TP. A graphic maxi dress for a chic, dramatic statement. Pregnant *and* non-pregnant reviewers are raving about it! A wrap dress will let ya show lots of leg to the period piece beaus you're currently binge-watching. A cherry-picked frock in case you need yet another '90s-inspired thing in your closet. Yes, yes you do need it. Trust me, I bought it a few summers ago and have worn it at least a dozen times since. A midi corset dress that'll help scratch that cottagecore itch for the TikTok-famous House of CB Carmen dress. Except for nearly $200 less. A ladylike polka-dot number that tbh you could wear to brunch with your great-aunt and then out day-drinking with your roomies after. But it also has accommodating stretch, barely wrinkles, and will look so nice in any photos where you wanna look fab but don't wanna upstage your surroundings. A flowy boho style you'll get a ton of use out of in other seasons. It'll look equally amazing with cowboy boots or sandals. Cue to you in a piazza in Rome rocking this with your favorite accessory, a cone of gelato. A showstopping mesh dress you can use as a base for basically any special event's ensemble. Hello, Summer Goth. An airy nap dress I own and plan to wear as much as possible. It's super easy to adjust the puff sleeves from on- to off-the-shoulder to fit your mood. A tie-strap beaut in an ankle-grazing length for those moments when you've GOTTA stoop down and play with a puppy. This has you covered. A striped cap sleeve midi — it might be the next best (and comfiest) thing to wearing a night gown out and about. A floor-length gown will look soooo pretty whether you're wearing it as a bridesmaid in your friend's wedding or in impromptu photo shoot by your pal who just got a new camera. A casual striped option with some ruffled sleeves to make it feel a bit special but not super dressy. We're keeping it casual rn. A versatile tiered maxi dress to layer with your longer-sleeve tops so you can comfortably sit in your chilly office. A flared vintage-inspired dress you'll wanna buy after your next Hairspray is always a great idea. A pom-pom strap maxi for a stylish twist on the "nap dress" style we all rely on to keep us cool and chic when the sun starts to bake. Twirling in this is, in fact, mandatory, and lack of twirl is punishable by nap dress law.

How to get Pamela Anderson and Miley Cyrus' 'ghost lashes' look: The beauty trend that everyone is wearing
Bobs, bixies and shags; We're all in the know with what's trending in the world of hair, but what about makeup? Well, per everyone's fave celebs – from Pamela Anderson to Miley Cyrus and even the 'It girls' on TikTok – 'ghost lashes' is the rising trend to know. But with such an ambiguous name, what constitutes a ghost lash and how is the look best achieved? Keep on reading below to swot up on the next big thing in beauty... Defined by their barely-there appearance, ghost lashes enhance one's natural lengths but without making too much of a statement. Think: Your lashes but a lil bit better. By adding slight definition via your lash curler or just a lick of mascara (you can opt for clear for minimal definition, brown for a whisper or black for a little more pigment), ghost lashes create an open yet fresh and natural look. The latest celebrity to adopt the look? Miley Cyrus, who appeared on the cover of Perfect magazine overnight, with her take on the ghost lashes trend. As mentioned, Miley's ghost lashes are in good company. Pamela Anderson has, arguably, fronted the look for a number of years after vowing to rock a mostly makeup-free face back in 2019. So, with six years under her belt, she sure does know how to rock a ghost lash. While Pamela herself hasn't explicitly confirmed what she uses on her lashes – if anything – we would assume that she has implemented a lash serum into her routine, rather than a mascara. This makes for a more streamlined and minimal everyday makeup regimen. Shop our faves here (tried and tested, ppl)! In an age where everyone's chasing faster results with less (read: work smarter, not harder), we can see how the trend has taken off. Me personally? I'm going to stick with my spidery tubing formulas. But hey, each to their own! Follow Lia on Instagram. Lia Mappoura (she/her) is the Beauty Writer at Cosmopolitan UK.
