Lauren James in line to make return from injury for England against Jamaica
The Chelsea forward, 23, has been unable to feature for club or country since limping off midway through the Lionesses' 5-0 Nations League win against Belgium nearly three months ago.
James returned to training last week and boss Sarina Wiegman says the England star could feature in Sunday's final warm-up friendly against Jamaica at Leicester's King Power Stadium.
'We have to manage the minutes,' the Lionesses head coach said. 'She's doing really well, but of course she hasn't played games yet. But she's in a good place.

'She will likely come off the bench, we can manage that a bit. She showed up on the training session really well.
'She could cope with loads and recover from loads. Her performance has been really good.
'She's ready, we're just still growing into minutes. This is the first time in a while that she's coming into a game and [she needs to] get through that. Then we'll take it from there towards the tournament.'
James sparkled during England's run to the World Cup final in Australia two years ago and team-mate Jess Carter says it is 'really exciting' for her to be back.
'For me she's a good friend and we all know she is an incredible footballer, but I think the most impressive thing for me is just that she has come back in like a new player,' the defender said.
'Maybe the injury was a bit of a blessing in disguise, in terms of that she just looks so fresh, so sharp, and she really impacts the game and the team.
'And she is a pain to play against. Good luck to any of the other players having to play against her in the tournament.'
England kick-off their Euros title defence against France in Zurich next Saturday, before Group D continues with clashes against the Netherlands and Wales.

It is a tough-looking pool, but Football Association chief executive Mark Bullingham has said that Wiegman will stay regardless of the outcome in Switzerland.
'We've had conversations and, of course, I extended my contract until 2027, after the World Cup,' said the Lionesses boss, who has led England to Euros glory and a World Cup final in her two tournaments at the helm.
'We're going into a new tournament now and I feel very happy here. I'm excited to go into a new tournament.
'I'm not looking too much ahead – the contract is until 2027 and I've always felt so much support from Mark and the board and I still feel that way. And it's really nice that he confirms that.'

‘It's a joke' — Enzo Maresca fumes after Chelsea's two-hour weather delay
A furious Enzo Maresca appeared to question the suitability of the United States to host the Club World Cup after Chelsea's 4-1 victory over Benfica became the sixth match of the tournament to be interrupted by severe storms. Chelsea's match was delayed nearly two hours due to a thunderstorm near the Bank of America stadium in Charlotte. The match was suspended in the 86th minute with Chelsea looking comfortable and leading 1-0, however after the break, Benfica managed to take the game to extra-time courtesy of a penalty from Ángel Di María. Chelsea went on to win 4-1 in extra time, helped by a strong response and a red card for Benfica's Gianluca Prestianni, but Maresca was unhappy with the length of the delay, calling it a 'joke' and insisting that it changed the game and made it difficult to coach. 'After the break, the game changed completely,' Maresca said. 'I think for me personally it's not football. It's already [six] games that they suspended. I think it's a joke to be honest, it's not football. It's not for us. You cannot be inside. It's completely something new, but I struggle to understand. I can understand that for security reasons, you are to suspend the game. But if you suspend [six] games, that means that probably is not the right place to do this competition.' The thunderstorm meant that FIFA had to implement a 'seek cover' protocol as players left the field and supporters moved inside and onto the concourses. The protocol meant that the match was delayed by 30 minutes but if a lightning strike was detected to have struck the ground within a ten-mile radius of the stadium, the 30-minute clock was reset. Ultimately the delay lasted for one hour and 56 minutes. This was the second longest delay of the tournament due to weather, with Benfica participants in the longest delay, a two-hour break during their 6-0 win over Auckland City in Orlando. There have been four other delays at the tournament so far due to storms, including Ulsan vs Mamelodi Sundowns in Orlando, Red Bull Salzburg against Pachuca in Cincinnati, Boca Juniors against Auckland City in Nashville and Palmeiras v Al Ahly in New Jersey. Other matches have taken place in high heat. The match in Charlotte, though, would become the longest match of the tournament so far, where a 4pm kick off ended at 8.38pm local time. Asked whether he was referring to the stadium in Charlotte specifically regarding suitability to host the tournament, Maresca said: 'No, no, no. I'm saying that. I ask you, if in this competition, they already suspended six, seven, eight games, probably there is something that is not working well. Because in a football game, it's not normal to suspend a game.' Pushed on whether the delays are bad for a new competition like the Club World Cup, Maresca said: 'Please, don't misunderstand me. I said it's a fantastic competition. It's a Club World Cup. It's top. We are happy to be in the last eight. We are happy to win all these kind of things. But something happens, [six] games suspended. 'In a World Cup, how many games are suspended? Zero, probably. In Europe, how many games? Zero. We are here, two weeks, they're already suspended [six] games. There is some problem for me personally. But I'm talking as a manager. Because when you are two hours inside and you try to keep them in the game, but for two hours, they are speaking with the family outside for safety reasons. They are eating something, they are playing, they are laughing. How can you keep them two hours inside, focused? It's a joke. That's why I said it. Then we are happy. We are happy to be here. Humphries going hospital after fan injured him during US Darts Masters walk-on
Luke Humphries suffered an injury scare during his victorious US Darts Masters campaign after his thumb was pulled back by an over-enthusiastic fan Luke Humphries will make a hospital trip after being injured by a fan at the US Darts Masters. The world No.1, returning to action after he and Luke Littler fell at the first hurdle at the World Cup, played through the pain barrier at New York's Madison Square Garden after a bizarre incident ahead of his first-round match against Stowe Buntz. During his walk-on, Humphries was left in pain after the thumb on his throwing hand was yanked back by an overzealous fan. The former world champion still came through that match before beating Danny Lauby in the quarter-finals. Cool Hand then thrashed Gerwyn Price 7-2 in the last four before seeing off Nathan Aspinall 8-6 in the final, despite the continuing discomfort, which will see him getting the digit X-rayed before he returns to action. Fortunately, Humphries was already planning to take a couple of weeks off, which will see him miss the next World Series event in Poland. He told Online Darts: 'My thumb is incredibly swollen. It's hard to play through; I was struggling with the grip. 'I couldn't hold my thumb in the same position. I don't want to make it all about that because I've won the title, I don't want the headlines to be about me and an injury. But the guy, when he pulled my hand back, he really hurt it. I'm going to have to go home and get it X-rayed." Before the final against Aspinall, he made it clear to his family that he intended to leave everything out on the oche. He added: 'When I was in the final, I said to my family, 'I'm going to give it everything, if I injure my hand in the final, it doesn't matter.' I tried my best, and thankfully, it was good enough. 'I don't think it's broken because it doesn't hurt to squeeze it. I've got a couple of weeks off now. The next time I play will be in Kiel [at the Baltic Sea Open].' His injury aside, Humphries was proud to lift the trophy at such an illustrious venue. He said: "It's one of the top venues in the world and it's one I've always dreamed of winning. When I finally won it tonight, it was an amazing relief. "I've won World Championships, World Matchplays, Premier Leagues and these big titles and it felt like I'd won another major. That's how big it is. 'It's very special and you could see my relief at the end. This was the one on the World Series that I really wanted to win. The crowd have been absolutely amazing this week, and to have my mum and dad here to see me win again means the world to us all." Humphries sportingly paid tribute to runner-up Aspinall, saying: "Nathan is such a credit to the sport and you can see that with the amount of support he got from the crowd. "Nathan is so gritty and determined, he came back at me and made it hard for me but he missed two darts to go seven-all and gave me a chance. It's nice to see him back playing the way he can - he makes me want to be better and we always seem to have really good games."
