Man arrested, charged with robbing First National Bank in Bloomfield
A man was arrested and charged with robbing the First National Bank in Pittsburgh's Bloomfield neighborhood on Thursday. Pittsburgh Police said that officers were called to the bank along Liberty Avenue around 11:30 a.m. on Thursday for a reported bank robbery. Bank employees told officers who responded to the scene that they were robbed by a man wearing a suit who gave a note to a teller demanding cash and saying that he had a gun. Police say the man, later identified as Aaron Roth, got away with almost $5,000, but was quickly arrested. No one was injured during the robbery. Police say its the second time this year that Roth has robbed a bank. Court records show Roth was arrested and freed on non-monetary bond in April after stealing $500 from a Chase Bank in Shadyside.

Men firing rifles at targets miss, hit driver on Interstate 35
Men firing rifles at targets miss, hit driver on Interstate 35 originally appeared on Bring Me The News. A driver was shot in the leg as he drove south on Interstate 35 in Minnesota, with police learning that the bullet came from a group of men shooting at targets on a nearby property. The incident happened around 10:40 a.m. on I-35 near Harris, with a passenger calling 911 to report the driver, a 48-year-old Duluth man, had been shot in the leg by a bullet that entered through the driver's side door. Deputies arrived in the area and reported "hearing gunfire consistent with rifle target shooting," according to the Chisago County Sheriff's Office. A canvass of the area and the use of a police drone led police to a private property along I-35 where three men were found shooting rifles "at a target positioned in the direction of the interstate." The three men are reportedly cooperating with police. The distance from the point of firing to where the victim was struck is about 1,500 feet. The driver sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to Regions Hospital in St. Paul. Three passengers in the vehicle were not injured. Meghan Markle ‘Livid' After Half-Sister Revives Lawsuit Against Her, Says Source
found herself in legal trouble after her almost-family revived a defamation lawsuit against her. The duchess' half-sister, Samantha Markle, is reportedly taking her back to court again, resuming legal proceedings after previously losing a $75,000 suit against her. The case stemmed from Samantha suing her for allegedly making untrue and damaging remarks in the 2021 interview with Oprah Winfrey. A source claimed that the recent developments have left Meghan 'livid.' Meghan Markle's half-sister revives defamation lawsuit, claims source Rob Shuter exclusively learned that Meghan Markle's legal troubles have resurfaced after her half-sister revived a defamation lawsuit. Sources claimed that Samantha Markle 'just won't go away,' as recent developments in the case, in which Meghan emerged victorious in 2023, left the former actor 'absolutely livid.' The duchess is reportedly 'furious' that despite her attempts 'to move on with her life,' her half-sister refuses to 'go away.' The New York Post shared that the case stemmed from comments Meghan made during her and Prince Harry's 2021 interview with Oprah Winfrey. During their sit-down chat, she told Winfrey about growing up alone as an only child. Samantha claimed that Meghan's 'false and malicious statements' subjected her to 'humiliation and hatred.' The two share the same father. A court hearing will now take place on September 9 in Jacksonville, Florida. The Post further revealed that Meghan and her half-sister's estranged father, Thomas Markle Sr., might testify in the legal proceedings. Shuter's source alleged that this is the As Ever founder's 'worst nightmare.' They claimed that she has been 'trying to build a brand, land new deals, stay focused.' But with these new legal developments, Meghan is 'stuck battling the same ghosts from her past.' A Florida judge had previously dismissed Samantha's defamation lawsuit against Meghan in a major legal blow to the former. Lawyers for the 'Suits' alum had also claimed at the time that they would 'give it [the case] the minimum attention necessary, which is all it deserves.'
