Her Excellency, Judge Dr. Ebtessam Ali Al Badwawi, Director General of Dubai Judicial Institute, stated that the accreditation is a significant achievement that further consolidates DJI's position as a premier training centre for legal professionals, both locally and globally. In addition, H.E. Al Badwawi remarked that the accreditation reflects the institution's unwavering commitment to keeping up with the latest training and educational methodologies by maintaining high standards of academic and professional excellence. Her Excellency also said that the institute's primary objective is to nurture a comprehensive educational ecosystem by equipping trainees with the essential resources to complete their duties effectively while keeping pace with the rapidly evolving legal and judicial landscape.

The accreditation recognises a DJI training program- the Level 7 Qualification in Legal and Judicial Studies for Public Prosecutors. Moreover, DJI is working diligently to secure accreditation for the Learning Units in International Humanitarian Law Qualification, along with several other programs that align with the training needs and requirements of Dubai's judicial ecosystem. This recognition has further enhanced DJI's ability to offer certified training qualifications that enrich trainees' professional competencies and knowledge, enabling them to obtain degrees from different universities. The workshop aimed to promote a culture of institutional collaboration and shared responsibility across various sectors, while enhancing the effectiveness of partnerships as key drivers of sustainable development. This initiative reflects the UAE leadership's enduring vision for inclusive and resilient community advancement through strategic government collaboration. The workshop mainly focused on partnership management within government entities to reinforce the understanding of the legal and regulatory frameworks that govern public and community partnerships. It also sought to boost institutional capabilities in managing these partnerships, encourage strategic thinking for community sustainability, promote a culture of integration, and offer practical solutions to potential challenges. The program explored three main themes, including the legislative framework for government and community partnerships, governance of partnerships, and its contribution to promoting transparency and accountability, and analysing the community impact of partnerships. Her Excellency Judge Dr Ebtessam Ali Al Bedwawi, Director General of the Dubai Judicial Institute, stated: 'The workshop was organised as part of Dubai's strategic vision to reinforce cross-sector collaboration and lay foundations for effective community partnerships that advance sustainable development and public welfare. Through our dedicated training programs and workshops, we aim to raise legal awareness at both community and institutional levels, while cultivating a culture of shared responsibility. Wide participation of economic enablers participating at the fourth edition Educational sessions taking place at the Vision Hall, Momentum Hall and Collaboration Hub Launch of the Industrialist Career Fair Several agreements were made during day two of Make it in the Emirates Abu Dhabi May 2025: Day two of Make it in the Emirates, held under the theme National Creation and Emirati Talent, concluded with strong participation from industrial leaders, government entities, innovators, and aspiring professionals. The day featured a dynamic programme of panel discussions, educational sessions, and networking opportunities focused on empowering local talent, advancing industrial skills, and highlighting the vital role Emiratis play in shaping the future of the UAE's industrial landscape. Organised by ADNEC Group and hosted by Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology, in strategic partnership with the Ministry of Culture, the Abu Dhabi Investment Office, and ADNOC, Make it in the Emirates is taking place at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi until 22 May, with participation from over 720 exhibitors. Among the highlights of the day was a press conference held at the International Holding Company (IHC) stage, where IHC and Al Ain Farms Group announced an AED 1.8 billion commitment in support of the UAE's food security strategy. Additionally, e& signed a strategic agreement with Aleria, an IHC Group company, to provide AI-powered solutions tailored for SMEs, enhancing operational efficiency and supporting adoption of next-generation technologies. The Ministry of Culture signed several Memoranda of Understanding at the Handicrafts Exhibition within Make it in the Emirates with entities such as the General Women's Union, Al Ghadeer UAE Crafts under the Emirates Red Crescent, the Ghars Centre for Social Empowerment part of the Fujairah Charity Association, and the Department of Antiquities and Museums – Ras Al Khaimah. In the field of electric mobility, UAE-based brand E Daddy announced a strategic partnership with Robust, a regional battery technology leader, to manufacture advanced battery packs for the new E Daddy X7 electric delivery bike. The collaboration marks a major milestone in establishing a fully UAE-based electric mobility ecosystem, covering design, engineering, production, and assembly. Robust will produce E Daddy's in-house designed battery packs locally, ensuring faster market readiness, improved quality control, and alignment with sustainability goals. Make it in the Emirates also continued to serve as a hub for investment and industrial collaboration. A dedicated section of the exhibition featured key economic enablers including IHC, First Abu Dhabi Bank, Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mubadala Investment Company, Abu Dhabi Exports Office, and KEZAD Group. Their presence reflects a shared commitment to enabling manufacturers, supporting new partnerships, and expanding access to capital, infrastructure, and resources across the UAE's industrial sector. From Talli embroidery and Khous weaving to ceremonial daggers and eco-friendly camel leather goods, exhibitors shared not only handmade products but also the stories, values, and techniques behind them. Organisations such as Al Ghadeer UAE Crafts are empowering women with heritage skills and transforming them into sustainable livelihoods. Businesses like Khunair are reviving forgotten crafts and cultivating demand for locally made ceremonial items. Dubai Culture and Arts Authority highlighted the importance of cultural transmission, while Al Khaznah Leathers showcased the fusion of tradition and innovation through sustainable craftsmanship. The day also marked the launch of the Industrialist Career Fair—a dedicated platform to connect Emirati talent with leading industrial companies. The Vision Hall hosted high-level panel discussions featuring successful UAE entrepreneurs, who shared their journeys from local startups to global businesses, alongside a fireside chat on Emiratisation and the Year of Community. At Momentum Hall, sessions focused on emerging technologies and new frontiers within the UAE's industrial ecosystem. EGA receives 900 applications from young Emiratis at National Service Career Fair - Middle East Business News and Information
Emirates Global Aluminium, the largest industrial company in the United Arab Emirates outside oil and gas, has received 900 applications from young female and male Emiratis at National Service Career Fair, which took place in Expo City Dubai from 12-14 May 2025. During the career fair, EGA signed an agreement with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to provide scholarships to UAE National students in subjects relevant to EGA talent needs. EGA's National Training programmes develop high school leavers for technical roles in the company's industrial operations and administration. More than 5,000 UAE Nationals have graduated from these programmes since they were first established in 1982, with many then having long and successful careers with EGA and some reaching senior leadership positions. EGA's Graduate Training programme is for university graduates. Graduate trainees complete 18 or 24 months of training for supervisory positions in corporate functions or in industrial operations in front-line roles, such as tending reduction cells. In 2024, EGA hired more than 220 UAE Nationals, including in the longstanding National and Graduate Training programmes New recruits from the National Service Career Fair are expected to start from September 2025. Abdulnasser Bin Kalban, Chief Executive Officer of Emirates Global Aluminium , said: 'The future growth of EGA and our nation depends on of the next generation of UAE National leaders. We are committed to empowering our young talents, both women and men, to contribute to advancing the UAE's industrial growth. I am pleased to see many young talented UAE Nationals engage with our team at UAE National Service Career Fair and I look forward to welcoming new talents to EGA.' EGA already has one of the highest Emiratisation rates of any major company on a like-for-like basis accounting for the high proportion of blue-collar roles in heavy industry. More than 1,300 UAE Nationals now work at EGA. Over 700 of EGA's Emirati employees are under the age of 35. At the end of 2024, EGA's in-focus Emiratisation rate was 44.5 per cent. EGA now aims to accelerate in-focus Emiratisation to reach 50 per cent by the end of 2027. This means EGA expects to hire up to 600 UAE Nationals over the period. EGA has participated in 14 career fairs so far in 2025, including both major fairs and EGA's own recruitment drives, such as those conducted with Dubai Government Human Resources Department, Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology, Department of Government Enablement, HR Department of Ras Al Khaimah Government, HR Department of Fujairah Government.
