Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant Celebrates 20 Years With Exciting Wine Tasting

Behind the Label lineup
In celebration of its 20th anniversary, Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant is launching its first-ever blind tasting experience. Aptly named, Behind the Label, this experience will take place the entire month of April at all 68 locations across the country.
As the largest wine club in the country, Cooper's Hawk was founded in 2005 and is known to be a highly experiential brand, with a wide array of delightfully approachable wines. It was also the first concept outside of wine country to combine a restaurant-winery with a Napa-style tasting room and specialty retail under one roof.
'As we celebrate 20 years of crafting exceptional experiences, I'm filled with immense gratitude for the journey that brought us here,' says Tim McEnery, CEO and founder of Cooper's Hawk. 'What began as a passion for food, wine and hospitality has blossomed into something far more meaningful—a platform for genuine human connection.'
McEnery opened the first Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant at the age of 29. Since that time, he has established one of the fastest growing, highest affinity brands in the United States, and Cooper's Hawk has grown to 68 restaurants and tasting rooms across 12 states. McEnery's visionary leadership and dedication to a community-based philosophy have created a unique blend of food, wine and hospitality, fostering a culture of inclusion.
For $12 you can taste 8 wines this month at Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant
In celebration of even more connection, the Behind the Label offering comes at a very affordable price point — making it inclusive for everyone (over 21 years old, of course). For just $12, guests can participate in the wine tasting at each location's tasting bar. This tasting adventure features eight wines and four of the wines are poured blind. It's a playful, educational twist on traditional tastings, that invites guests to sharpen their skills and explore new wines. Plus exciting prizes will be awarded at the end of the month including a Caribbean cruise with Virgin Voyages, a private dinner with celebrity chef Curtis Stone, and dinner for two for a year at Cooper's Hawk.
"Blind wine tasting is an adventure for the senses—without labels or preconceptions, you focus purely on the aromas, flavors, and textures in the glass,' explains Emily Wines, Master Sommelier at Cooper's Hawk. 'To prepare for our Behind the Label blind tasting experience, come with an open mind and a curious palate—trust your senses, explore each sip, and discover wine in a whole new way."
The tasting experience ends with a fun video created by Wines that reveals exact what's behind the label. No need to guess the wines correctly to win—guests just need to participate and scan a QR code to enter after you've completed your tasting. Head to your local Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant between now and April 30th to participate.
Whether you guys correctly or not, you can enter to win big prizes
'For two decades, we've had the privilege of being present at life's most cherished moments, watching strangers bond over bottles, and families start new traditions around our tables,' says McEnery. 'This milestone isn't just about our growth as a brand, but about the countless relationships we've helped nurture. Looking ahead, I'm energized by the opportunities to expand our reach while remaining true to our founding purpose: creating spaces and experiences that bring people together in celebration of love, legacy and life itself."

Looking for a unique way to style flowers? Martha Stewart and Meghan Markle's vase alternatives will make you rethink conventional vessels

When you buy through links on our articles, Future and its syndication partners may earn a commission. There's never a bad time to dress your entryway with flowers, but if there's ever a particularly good time, it's summer. It goes without saying that the upcoming season offers every excuse to fill your rooms with beautiful blooms, but for 2025, I wanted to take things further than a conventional glass vase. This is where Meghan Markle and Martha Stewart's inspiration comes into play. A unifying thread between Meghan and Martha is their unique alternatives to vases. Starting with Meghan. She recently shared footage of her flower arrangement from her Montecito home, in which she styles roses in a cream urn, typically a vessel that's used for much larger flower arrangements. It's undeniably unique; however, it's not the first time I've seen a unique vase alternative this week. Only a few days ago, the celebrity style team also covered how Martha Stewart uses footed compote bowls as a substitute for a classic flower vase, and I couldn't help but notice the similarities between her choice and Meghan's urn, despite Martha's footage dating back through the decades. This planter offers durability and style for your entryway, living room, or outside on your patio. It's perfectly sized for presenting your favorite plants and flowers in a modern and stylish manner. Was $84, now $73.99 at Wayfair Nothing says chic like a glass compote bowl, and this sturdy, Roman-style one meets the mark. From $19.99 on Amazon Give your flower arrangement a luxe vessel with this gold compote bowl, featuring a dainty stem and scalloped edges. From $26.99 on Amazon Despite seeing Meghan's and Martha's vase alternatives in the same week, the latter is certainly nothing new. Martha Stewart first showed off her footed compote arrangement over three decades ago, but the lessons remain just as inspiring in 2025. 'This is a footed compote really meant for candy or fruit, and just take the covers off,' she says in the footage. I have a pair of these and I'm really very fond of them for flower arranging. They stand up off the table and they're pretty.' Martha also shared a tip to ensure your footed compote bowls remain fit for purpose after you get rid of your blooms. 'Protect your containers with a little bit of plastic. If this were silver, the frogs might scratch it, and if it's glass too, a little bit of rust might be left in the bottom of the bowl,' she demonstrates. 'I'm going to use this large spring frog placed right on top of that plastic.' Is this the summer of unconventional vases? With examples from Meghan and Martha to follow, I'm unlikely to go back to a regular flower vessel for the rest of the season.

Kid Rock opens new Nashville restaurant and enjoys 'breakfast' in the afternoon

What does Kid Rock eat for breakfast? Perhaps the better question is: When does he eat it? The American musician, whose real name is Robert Ritchie, told "Fox & Friends" this week that he eats his breakfast in the afternoon. "I have breakfast at 1 p.m. or 5 p.m.," Kid Rock said during a live interview with Fox News' Steve Doocy at the singer's new Nashville restaurant, The Detroit Cowboy. (See the video at the top of this article.) Doocy pushed back a bit. "Well, that's not breakfast," he said. "That's lunch." Kid Rock suggested otherwise. "It's breakfast. I just eat at a different time." Kid Rock's newest venture is a steak, seafood and fine-dining establishment in partnership with Joe Muer, a restaurateur from Kid Rock's hometown of Detroit. It's filled with memorabilia from Kid Rock's musical career. There is also a mirror on the wall with an inscription that reads, "Go Where You're Celebrated Not Tolerated." Kid Rock told "Fox & Friends" it's the restaurant's motto. "Years ago, I had a spot in Detroit and there's a few bad actors there [who] tried to get me involved with the cancel culture and all that stuff, so I didn't renew my lease," he said. Kid Rock said his new restaurant is a place where customers can "come for some good food and chill." A grand-opening celebration for the restaurant was held on Tuesday night. Among those in attendance were "Reagan" actor Dennis Quaid and Grammy Award-winning singer Lee Greenwood, who performed at the event. The restaurant has even received an endorsement from President Donald Trump, who wrote about it in a Truth Social post this past Monday night. "Congratulations to my friend, Kid Rock (I call him Bob!), on the Grand Opening of his new Nashville restaurant, 'The Detroit Cowboy,'" Trump wrote. "I hear it is a very friendly MAGA establishment, and look forward to going there sometime soon," the president also wrote. Kid Rock was with Trump at the White House in late March for the signing of an executive order targeting unfair scalping of concert tickets.
