Quds Brigades ambush "Israeli" unit inside home east of Jabalia
The Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ), claimed responsibility for a series of operations targeting the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) in the Gaza Strip.
In a statement released Saturday, the brigades said their fighters launched a concentrated mortar attack using standard 60mm shells on a gathering of IOF troops and military vehicles near the northeast of Khan Younis in southern Gaza.
Separately, the group said it carried out a precision ambush against an IOF unit that had taken refuge inside a home in the Tel al-Zaatar area, east of Jabalia refugee camp. According to the statement, fighters detonated pre-planted explosives and used reverse-engineered shells during the operation, which reportedly took place on Friday.

Musk deletes post linking Trump to Epstein files
Elon Musk briefly alleged that President Donald Trump is implicated in unreleased files related to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, only to quietly delete the claim days later. The tech mogul and billionaire, who recently stepped down from a senior advisory role in the White House, posted the incendiary accusation on his X account late Thursday, as his public fallout with the president reached new heights. 'Time to drop the really big bomb: (Trump) is in the Epstein files,' Musk wrote. 'That is the real reason they have not been made public.' He followed up by urging users to 'mark this post for the future. The truth will come out,' but both messages were deleted by Saturday morning. Musk did not provide any supporting evidence for the claim, nor did he clarify which documents he was referring to. The posts came amid a growing rift between the billionaire and Trump, who had previously praised Musk's cost-cutting work at the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) just days before their relationship soured. The Trump administration has acknowledged an internal review of thousands of documents tied to Epstein and his network, including videos, testimonies, and investigative records. But while Trump was named in earlier documents unsealed in early 2024, he has not been accused of any wrongdoing. Trump has long acknowledged knowing Epstein, once calling him a 'terrific guy' in a 2002 magazine profile, adding, 'He's a lot of fun to be with. It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side.' The billionaire financier died in jail in 2019 while awaiting trial on federal sex trafficking charges. His death, ruled a suicide, has fueled years of conspiracy theories implicating politicians, celebrities, and elite figures from across the political spectrum.
