Roma's Florent Ghisolfi, along with two other representatives, met the Rossoneri and the Giallorossi expressed their desire to work on a new agreement for Saelemaekers. There was no option to buy in the loan deal but the parties are happy to potentially strike another deal.
The meeting was only interlocutory and talks are expected to continue in the next few weeks. A second meeting has also been planned and it is said to be an evolving situation, with Roma trying to act quickly. There has been talk of interest from the Premier League already.
