Top 2027 Florida defensive lineman will visit Notre Dame when they face Texas A&M
Multiple prospects have already made their decision to be in South Bend for the game, and on Thursday another joined them in 2027 Florida defensive lineman Santana Harvey. The 6-foot, 5-inch and 220-pound prospect announced his fall visit schedule, as he will also make visits to see Clemson, Florida, SMU, and Michigan.
Harvey will visit the Bulldogs twice this coming fall, so you have to believe that they are the current front runners in his recruitment. As the nation's No. 303 overall prospect according to the 247Sports Composite, many top teams are in pursuit of the edge rusher.
The Irish will have plenty to sell Harvey when he makes his visit, as they have shown they aren't afraid to play multiple defensive lineman, and true-freshman if they are ready. This could play a big part in Notre Dame's recruitment of the talented Floridian.

Notre Dame football offers 2029 California jumbo athlete prospect his first scholarship
While we have seen Notre Dame football look ahead in its recruiting efforts, and they often don't look too far ahead, they did on Friday. The Irish offered 2029 California jumbo athlete Inokefotu Fakatou, making it his first Division 1 scholarship. Already standing 6-foot, 3-inches and weighing 215-pounds, Notre Dame is trying to get significantly ahead of the curve in his recruitment. Fakatou's class has yet to even begin his high school career, but clearly showed enough for Notre Dame to pull the trigger on a scholarship offer. It will be very interesting to see his recruitment play out, as there most likely will be at least few years until he makes a decision. He will play his first snaps at the high school level for Orange Lutheran, who is set to begin its season on Aug. 23rd. Fatakou's team will play a very tough schedule, as they are set to face off against powerhouses like Mater Dei, St. John Bosco, and Sierra Canyon. If he's able to make some noise as a freshman against those teams, Notre Dame's recruiting staff will look like geniuses with the early offer. Florida legend Tim Tebow included on AP's 100th anniversary all-time All-America Team
The Associated Press recently announced its All-Time All-America teams amidst the organization's 100th anniversary, bestowing one of the most prestigious honors in college football among a very select few. It should come as no surprise that Florida Gators legend Tim Tebow made the cut, but even the Orange and Blue faithful might be mildly surprised by which roster he landed in. According to the AP's latest lineup, the storied collegiate quarterback earned the First-Team spot under center, joining a star-studded group of historic greats. "Florida's Tim Tebow edged Texas' Vince Young (2005) for all-time first-team quarterback. Tebow won the Heisman and made the AP All-America team as a sophomore in 2007, his first year as the starter," AP writer Eric Olson offers. "He led the Gators to their second national championship in three years in 2008 and narrowly missed a chance at another when the 2009 team started 13-0 but lost to Alabama in the SEC championship game. He remains the SEC career leader in rushing touchdowns and touchdowns responsible for." First team by conference *Based on players' school affiliations at the time they were in college About the AP All-Time All-America team "Of the 25 players on the first team, five won the Heisman Trophy and 21 are in the College Football Hall of Fame, two are nominated for induction in 2026 and two are not eligible because they are not yet 10 years removed from their college careers," the article states.
