Tom also has the film American Speed in the works with Austin Butler, a true story of three renowned racecar driver brothers (Don, Bill, and Dale Whittington) and how two of them were involved in the 1980s International Motor Sports Association scandal. In the interview with British GQ, Tom said, "You can't be in every movie, and you can't do your best work when you're burnt out. What I've learnt is that it's important to set boundaries — to be mindful about overworking." "I've got a slightly busy next year, and then I'll probably take a bit more time off in 2027. We'll see," he told GQ. This isn't the first time Tom's been forthcoming about his boundaries as a leading actor. In recent years, he spoke about taking a break from acting and social media and quitting drinking. "I'm never gonna drink again because this is the best version of myself." In 2023, Tom also shared that he was taking a year off after having difficulty filming the Apple TV+ series The Crowded Room. Given Tom's demanding schedule for the following years, another potential break is a practical next step. Mackenzie believed the endless supply would've made her dog jump for joy, but instead, the dog took off running. Her paws slipped on the floor, but that didn't stop her from continuing out the door. Thankfully, once the tennis balls stopped bouncing off the floor, Mackenzie said her dog turned a corner, embracing her favorite toy with open paws.
