In a serene glade by the river, Acushla is the home for reconnection and restoration at BTP. From rejuvenating in Ireland's first mobile sauna, Bosca Beatha, to unwinding with transformative yoga and soothing massages in the enchanting yurt, the festival's wellbeing programme will refresh your spirit.
What are the campsite opening times?
The Beyond the Pale campsite and car parks will open on Friday at 11 am, closing at 4 pm on Monday. The arena will open at 4.30 pm on Friday, and 11.45 am on Saturday and Sunday.
Small bell tents up to 4m are allowed in the campsite, but tents should not exceed a size that would accommodate six to eight people. Teepees and larger structures like gazebos are not permitted.
Vehicles are not permitted into any of the campsites or the camper van area for health and safety reasons, and pets are not allowed on site.
What food and drink will be available?
Alongside a selection of vendors selling a delicious assortment of food and refreshing drinks as part of a 'Beyond The Plate' programme curated by food writer Ali Dunworth, BTP 2025 will celebrate storytelling around food and drinks with a stellar line-up of names showcasing the best of Irish food, drink and hospitality, including Cassie Stokes, Christina Wade and Facundo Rodulfo and Pamela Neumann from Tango Street Food.
Festival goers can bring their own food, but no open fires, naked flames or disposable BBQs are allowed on campsites or the festival grounds.
There will be public drinking water points throughout the site, with attendees encouraged to bring a reusable water bottle.
Weekend camping ticket holders can bring their own alcohol (at the time of first entry only), with a max allocation for drinks at 24 cans, one litre of spirits or 1.5 litres of wine per person. Day ticket holders are not permitted to bring alcohol.
No glass containers are permitted on site, with attendees asked to decant their alcohol into a reusable bottle before arriving at the festival. All containers must be open when entering the main arena.

Beyond the Pale organisers confirm music festival will go ahead after reports of cancellation

LAST UPDATE | 7 Jun ORGANISERS OF THE Beyond the Pale music festival have confirmed this evening that the festival will go ahead next week as planned. This was despite earlier confusion and reports that staff and vendors had been informed otherwise, and that the festival had gone into liquidation. In a social media post, festival organisers acknowledged that today, they 'very nearly stumbled', while ticket holders and festival vendors had waited for clarity on whether the county Wicklow festival would go ahead. The statement said, 'Look, it's unbelievably tough out there for independent festivals, venues, promoters, artists…we all know that. 'But the festival gods smiled upon us, and the fate of Beyond the Pale is secure for 2025, and for many years to come. Thanks for… — Beyond The Pale (@BeyondThePaleIE) June 7, 2025 The earlier announcement of the festival's abrupt closure is understood to have come as a major shock to locals and the festival's employees, as well as causing confusion for ticket holders. However, it now seems the festival, which is based at the Glendalough Estate, is scheduled to take place next weekend from 13 to 15 June. Beyond the Pale is comprised of music, food, wellness, and arts. Acts including Jon Hopkins, Róisín Murphy, TV on The Radio, and Marc Rebillet are set to headline the weekend festival. This year would mark the fourth outing of the event. It is set to be artists Róisín Murphy, Jon Hopkins, berlioz and Broken Social Scene's only Irish show played this summer, while band Boney M's appearance would be their first Irish show in close to a decade. TV on the Radio's set at the festival would be their first show in Ireland in 17 years. Readers like you are keeping these stories free for everyone... Beyond the Pale festival confirms it WILL go ahead after behind-the-scenes chaos

The organisers of Beyond the Pale have confirmed the three-day music and arts festival will go ahead next weekend – but admitted it came dangerously close to being cancelled. The statement followed a wave of confusion over the weekend after The Currency reported that the festival's organiser had informed stakeholders the event was off, following a decision to immediately liquidate Cupola Events Ltd, the company behind the festival. The festival, set to welcome 12,000 attendees to Glendalough, Co Wicklow from June 13 to 15th, remained in limbo for hours while fans, artists, and industry insiders awaited clarity. Pic: Shutterstock Late on Sunday, organisers broke their silence on social media, saying: 'Look, it's unbelievably tough out there for independent festivals, venues, promoters, artists… we all know that. Today we very nearly stumbled. But the festival gods smiled upon us, and the fate of Beyond the Pale is secure for 2025 — and for many years to come.' 'Thanks for bearing with us today, thanks for all the messages and gestures of support… and see you at Glendalough next week! PS: The forecast is hot and sunny.' Pic: Shutterstock Despite the chaos, tickets remained on sale throughout the weekend, with three-day camping passes priced at €269. This year's lineup includes Jon Hopkins, Róisín Murphy, Boney M, Jeff Mills, TV on the Radio, and Samantha Mumba. DJ Dave Clarke, set to travel from Amsterdam to perform, told RTÉ on Sunday: 'It's very confusing. I've seen the reports, but the information changes all the time. I'll still be flying to Ireland – I love it too much.' Launched in 2022 with fewer than 5,000 attendees, Beyond the Pale has quickly grown to host over 10,000 people. It was named Best Small Festival at the IMRO Awards last year. Find the festival's full programme here.
