The new Hell's Kitchen? ITV announces 'absolutely unmissable' new cooking competition hosted by Olivia Attwood - with a scintillating twist
Tense new series The Heat will take place under the sizzling Spanish sun - tracking ten young chefs as they work under multi Michelin Star chef Jean-Christophe Novelli.
The world-rated culinary master is opening a summer restaurant at the glamorous Port Vell Marina, and is on a mission to find the rising star among the keen professionals.
But villa bombshell Olivia will not be straying too far from her roots as the camera closely follows the chefs both in the kitchen and behind the scenes - offering a glimpse into their personal lives.
In a new reality format, viewers with a taste for the salacious will watch along as the staff develop close blonds, with dating, socialising and drama on the cards.
The cooking show will blend the contestants' personal and professional lives, as the young hopefuls quickly realise the precariousness of their position in the fierce culinary contest.
They will consistently battle in a bid to climb the kitchen ranks - and promotions, demotions, power plays, sackings and shock decisions throughout the series will keep them on their toes.
'It is such an honour to host this brand-new format for ITV2 and ITVX,' host Olivia said. 'Being at the helm of something this fresh and exciting is a total pinch-me moment.'
And chef Jean-Christophe, known for his drive and intensity in the kitchen, said he was equally 'thrilled' to join the exciting new series.
'I'll be using my passion and unique teaching style to push these young chefs to dig deep, stay sharp and prove they have what it takes to grow, evolve, and make their mark,' he said.
His years of experience will prove life-changing for the show's contestants, and Jean-Christophe will mentor the next generation of culinary talent.
'I'll mentor them to use all five senses together and put it all on the plate, the right way,' he continued.
'It's going to be a wild ride, and I know we'll discover some true culinary stars along the way. I'm ready. Let's do this. Allez, Allez - bon appétit!'
Filming is already underway in Barcelona, and ITV's Paul Mortimer said, 'The Heat is the perfect fusion of a high-stakes cooking show with real-life drama.
'And with the fantastic Olivia at the forefront alongside the renowned Jean-Christophe, it's shaping up to be a new reality obsession for our younger viewers.'
It's not the first of exciting developments for Olivia, who came onto our screens in 2017 as a Love Island contestant.
Since then, she has soared in the media world, and recently began her role as a This Morning host.
The 34-year-old kicked off her hosting debut with a brutal comment to her co-star Dermot O'Leary on Friday -which left the studio in stitches.
Olivia couldn't help but make a cheeky comment about Dermot's height seconds after she went on air for the first time.
Dermot began by telling viewers: 'Well hello. Welcome to your Friday's This Morning. Look who has joined us today. It's only the lovely Olivia Attwood everyone!'
With 5'11" Olivia towering over 5'9" Dermot, she replied: 'Thanks guys! This is not a drill. This is happening!' before cheekily adding 'I want you to know, I did go for a smaller heel.'
Dermot then added: 'You could have worn a flat! That's all I'm saying... Early feedback,' to which Olivia replied: 'I couldn't actually!'
The former X Factor presenter then went on his tip toes to get to the same height as his co-host.

Revealed: What 'Ibiza Final Boss' is hiding behind his elaborate barnet as he becomes a global internet star and brands cash in on his viral fame
The secret of Spanish holiday sensation Ibiza Final Boss's incredible haircut has been 'uncovered' by fans - as the viral star has begun cashing in on his newfound fame while signing with a top talent agent. Images of Jack Kay's gleaming white grin, perfectly manicured beard and cartoonish haircut spread across the internet like wildfire earlier this week. Kay, from Newcastle-upon Tyne, has become a cultural phenomenon overnight, with brands scurrying to capitalise on the distinctive bowl-style haircut - which has been compared to those worn by monks, coconuts, and a Henry Hoover. Like other overnight viral stars such as Hailey Welch - known better as the 'Hawk Tuah' girl - and Nusret Gokce, also known as Salt Bae, Kay is likely to enjoy a boom in freebies, appearances and sponsorship opportunities. He has signed with top showbiz talent agent Dave Read, whose firm Neon Management juggles top clients including reality star Joey Essex and a cohort of Love Island contestants including Ronnie Vint and Jessy May Potts. But eagle-eyed fans believe they have spotted a flaw in the impossibly razor-sharp barnet - but it's not visible when taking in his awe-inspiring fringe from the front. A video shared on TikTok showed the raver wearing a t-shirt from designer brand Casablanca in the Destino Five Ibiza hotel and club venue as he showed off his moves in a crowd of ravers. 'Man the myth the legend,' the video's author wrote. Hard to miss, Kay was wearing his distinctive gold shades and chain, with the bob haircut sitting perfectly. Do YOU have the Ibiza Final Boss haircut? Email: But as he turned his head away from the camera, some fans appeared to notice that the 26-year-old had a small thinning patch in the back of his head. One TikTok user noted: 'Wait is it balding at the back - but a comb over at the front?' 'Best comb over 2025,' added another. '100 per cent combing that forward to cover the receeding hair line,' noted a user on Instagram, where the video was shared. Mr Kay's cut has been widely compared to, among other things, impressionist Leigh Francis' caricature of Craig David on Channel 4 shock comedy show Bo' Selecta!, a Henry Hoover and a coconut. Others noted the cut's similarity to that of the 'tonsure' haircut worn by monks - best immortalised by Friar Tuck, companion to Robin Hood - and the bowl haircut associated with medieval times. 'Monastery of Sound,' joked one TikTok user, alluding to London's legendary Ministry of Sound nightclub. 'Short back and sides and Battle of Hastings please, boss,' joked another. Brands have rushed to cash in on the meme on social media. Retailer Currys shared an image depicting the Ibiza Final Boss as a Henry Hoover, while bakers Greggs shared a photoshopped version of its gingerbread man. Elsewhere, package holiday firm On The Beach is depicting his mop-top as a parasol in a series of new adverts it is rolling out on advertising billboards. In a pun-laden press release, the firm said its 'trimmed down prices' were a 'cut above the rest'. The Mail understands Mr Kay originally travelled with the firm on what has become the most exceptional of holidays. equally eager to be seen, has written on his Instagram: 'Hey legend, we wanna get you back to Ibiza for an extended stay.' Any disparaging comments about Mr Kay's barnet are unlikely to dent his armour following his rise to viral fame - with promotional opportunities and bookings quickly being snapped up. A source told the Sun of his signing with Neon Management, home of reality stars including Joey Essex: 'Signing up with the agency was a no-brainer given their past success and they've been inundated with requests for him already. 'It all really blew up in a matter of hours so from TV shows to podcasts - the sky's the limit.' Internet funny people have fed photographs of Kay into every form of AI image generator under the sun, depicting him as a character in The Simpsons and South Park Scottish nightclub events firm Lionheart Entertainment says it has signed Kay up for a number of events in the UK Lionheart Entertainment, a Scottish nightclub events promotions firm, says it has booked him for a number of events in the UK. It said on social media: 'He's tanned, he's ready, he's got an open shirt and a half pint of Madri. The Ibiza Final Boss is bringing Ibiza energy to LionHeart events near you. Watch this space.' The Mail has contacted the firm for further comment. Kay's own social media following has exploded. His TikTok - labelled 'IBIZA FINAL BOSS' - has already picked up nearly 20,000 followers, while a newly created Instagram has 27,000. But he has also inspired a series of imitators in what appear to be cryptocurrency scams - launching what look to be unauthorised 'meme coins' bearing his face. One such account, which used AI generated images of Kay's face, shared a video appearing to suggest he had tattooed his own face on his leg. It has not appeared on social media accounts that the Mail has identified as legitimate, and the Twitter account refused to respond to messages from the Mail asking to prove its authenticity. He has even shared the clip showing his thinning hair patch on his Instagram stories. Kay has received offers for hair repair and holidays - and has been contacted by Gary Lineker's club-owning brother, Wayne Comments on his social media are laden with praise and offers to keep him coming back to Ibiza again and again. Travel firms have offered him holidays, while Gary Lineker's clubbing-obsessed brother Wayne - who owns club O Beach - has asked him to get in touch. His comments also include messages from DJs, OnlyFans models... and a firm specialising in hair repair. Kay - the son of convicted armed robber John Kay - has just returned from what he had once probably expected to be a routine Ibiza holiday. He describes himself as 'just a normal person from Newcastle' - but has thanked fans for the flurries of messages he has received since going viral. Other details have since come to light about Jack's life back in the UK after a woman has now claimed she is his girlfriend. Alisha Cook, 23, shared a series of videos of the 'Ibiza final boss' captioned 'POV (point of view) ya boyfriends now known as Ibiza final boss'. In the clips, the debt collector from South Hetton, who also makes cash selling clothes on Vinted, is seen cuddled up to 'Jack Kay' with him kissing her on the cheek, while in other clips they are seen clubbing. Hundreds of people have since commented on the video, with one saying: 'Girl least u knew he didn't cheat, there's like every angle of him on TikTok just having a ball.' Another added: 'Have a word with his barber then because I don't know how he leaves the house.' She has since locked down her social media amid the frenzy of memes. Pals back home told the Mail that Kay lives the same back home, adding: 'He walks about town with that haircut and gold chain. He's got the Turkey teeth and he's always on the sun beds. This is what he looks like all the time. He think he's gorgeous.' Kay is already heading back out for parties galore, writing on Instagram yesterday: 'Back to the UK for a day back back in Ibiza tmoz (tomorrow) night some big parties incoming.' It seems nothing will keep the Ibiza Final Boss away from his true home - not while there's summer sunshine to spare. 'Fresh trim Ibiza, here we go!' he posted on Instagram this afternoon - with the trademark barnet ready to go.

Love Island's Dejon Noel-Williams defiantly hits back at being branded a 'narcissist' - revealing he wanted to QUIT the show with girlfriend Megan Moore after feeling 'lost' and 'confused'
Love Island contestant Dejon Noel-Williams has defiantly hit back at 'narcissist' claims, insisting he is an 'empathetic person' after his character was questioned on the ITV 2 show. The former semi-professional footballer, 26, revealed the extent of the backlash he has endured online after his fellow co-stars voted to dump him and girlfriend Megan Moore, 25, from the villa just days before Monday night's final. Dejon told the Daily Mail in his first interview that he has received thousands of frightening, hateful, and racist messages across Instagram and TikTok and even death threats, causing him to turn off the comments on his profile. Viewers turned on the personal trainer over their belief he entered the show with a game plan to win the £50,000 prize with Megan, who he remained in a couple with throughout the series, despite continually flirting with bombshell arrivals. He even accused Megan of attempting to make him 'look bad' in front of the cameras, which filmed the Islanders around the clock, and asked for them to 'sit in silence' during another row, throwing into doubt whether his feelings were genuine. But Dejon insists his relationship with Megan is the real deal and he was prepared to quit the show after feeling 'lost' and 'confused' by the feedback from new and returning Islanders who had watched how the couple's romance had been poorly portrayed. Dejon said: 'I was away for altogether 10 weeks from the beginning to basically the end. I was in a bubble with no phone and not knowing what was happening on the outside world. 'The first thing that I did when I got my phone back was speak to my friends and family, but my phone was flooded with backlash and hateful messages. 'It got so bad that me and Meg have both decided to turn the comments off, the messages we have both received are no good for our mental health. 'Everyone is coming for me online. I've had everything, death threats, racist comments, hateful comments, I've had everything you could think of.' Dejon was branded a 'narcissist' by the audience who believe on occasion he manipulated girlfriend Megan as well as female Islanders Malisha Jordan, Billykiss Azeez, and finalist Yasmin Pettet, whom he refused to answer any questions about. Some viewers maintain that Dejon wasn't transparent with his movements as he continued to date and get to know other women, often complimenting their looks while always keeping Meg, who said she wasn't aware of his flirtatious nature, close. Dejon also left Meg humiliated by kissing love rival Yasmin and choosing her during the show's challenges, which caused fiery rows between the pair during their final date, historically a time where Islanders confess their loved-up feelings for each other. Viewers even voiced their criticism towards Dejon when his best pal Harry Cooksley struggled emotionally in his love triangle between Shakira Khan and Helena Ford and was seemingly left uncomforted, which the personal trainer claims is completely inaccurate. He said: 'I do take full accountability for how I communicated at times in the villa. 'The girls who were on the show with me say I'm not a narcissist, I'm not a gaslighter, all of these things they have seen online, it means a lot to me because they spent 24 hours a day with me. 'I could have handled situations better but when it comes to being a 'narcissist' and these words, empathy is definitely something that I have, it's something I had for Meg, for Harry, and when Meg was upset, I was there for her, and when Harry was upset it would break my heart. 'Me and Harry had a thing, we called it fitness and feelings where we would go to the gym and I would say "don't worry H, we can be free here, our tears, people will think they're sweat."' Dejon, who narrowly missed out on this year's Love Island final, which was won by US Islander Toni Laites and Cach Mercer, admits he finds being vulnerable difficult, especially in the villa, knowing his every movement was being watched, by the public and his fellow cast mates. He said: 'As the show went on, I felt very lost. I felt very confused. I wanted to go home, really and truly, many times especially when me and Meg were really good and I knew she was for me and I was 100 per cent sure that we would work on the outside world, I wanted to go home. 'The viewers will have seen me joking around but they won't have seen that I have feelings, I have a lot of feelings, but it's hard for me to show them. 'I usually deal with my feelings alone and I would cry alone in my room or by myself but when you're on TV and you're feeling upset and you know the whole nation is watching you but not only that, I'm living with people and there was no place to be by yourself and let things out. 'Harry really helped me with that, Meg, and Helena, she was going through her struggles, and that broke my heart, I had a lot of empathy, and I definitely feel I am a very empathetic person; I can definitely feel other people's pain.' During this year's series, dumped Islanders Megan Forte Clarke and Blu Chegini returned to the villa with the knowledge of how the cast had been edited and perceived by the viewers. New contestants in the form of bombshells were also regularly entering the villa and according to Dejon, the public's opinion of both him and Megan, who was accused of being a 'mean girl', had been fed back, sparking unease and paranoia. He said: 'I didn't understand it, we were in the bubble, but we had Islanders who had been in the villa coming back and bombshells, and they're not supposed to speak about the outside world, but they did, and they kept dropping hints and saying words. 'Some Islanders were coming in and they would say, when I'm watching from the outside, it doesn't ever show you and Meg doing these things, laughing together, and that's when I started to think, what's happening? It was the Islanders who watched from the outside that were saying different things.' Dejon's flirty nature was exposed in the villa on several occasions, during the show's first 'Sleepover' episode and on 'Movie Night', where his complimentary remarks towards Billykiss, who he claimed he hadn't romantically pursued, were aired on a big, cinema screen. But Dejon, who says he now regrets playing the field, claims he 'misunderstood' the entire point of the show, where contestants are heavily encouraged by producers to explore connections, go on multiple dates and partake in kissing challenges. He said: 'Yes, I do regret flirting. The show portrayed me flirting a lot, which I held my hands up to, but the show is edited to make entertainment for the viewers. 'The one thing I can definitely say is I did resolve every issue I've ever had, and I have no bad blood with any of the Islanders. When I was exploring connections, me and Meg always communicated. 'I thought on Love Island you needed to find who you have the strongest connections with. 'In the process of doing that I hurt people's feelings, and I didn't intend on doing that. It was hard trying to navigate getting to know different people in the same place, I have never experienced it before. 'I know I made a lot of mistakes and really and truly I am glad my connection with Meg was so strong that even my regrettable flirting with other girls while we were single and open, she still stood by me. But since we have been boyfriend and girlfriend it's only been her and it will only be her.' This year's drama on the show saw a rift form between the female Islanders, who broke off into two sides, and even host Maya Jama appears to have shown where her allegiances lie. Presenter Maya has followed show winner Toni and her three best friends and fellow finalists Shakira and Yasmin on Instagram, while so far choosing to avoid connecting with any of the male contestants. When asked his opinion on who Maya has decided to follow on Instagram, Dejon replied: 'I don't feel any type of way about that.' But one woman he is hoping to remain connected with and for the long-term is his girlfriend, who he affectionally nicknamed in the villa 'My Meg.' Dejon, whose career as a semi-professional footballer saw him play for Watford Academy and Oxford United, says the couple are already planning to move in together and on Thursday evening, he met Meg's extended family in her hometown of Southampton. He said: 'I had no game plan when I went on Love Island. I went there to find love, and I found it. In the later stages, I said I was ready to go home whenever I got what I came for. I got my girlfriend, and I left the villa with two best friends, Harry and Helena. I was completely happy. 'Being in the villa from day one with Meg, she was the only person I was in a couple with, shared a bed with, I spent 24 hours a day with her and our connection and bond is so strong, we have only not seen each other for one day since we met. 'The one day I didn't see her, I missed her so much. We call each other and FaceTime all the time so the next steps will be living together in London.' And is Dejon confident he won't fall victim to the potential temptations of having a new fanbase, attending celebrity events, and the chance to drink at free bars, given his co-star Tommy Bradley, fell at the first hurdle by kissing TOWIE's Dani Imbert behind his partner's back at his first glitzy outing. 'No, I'm not worried at all about going to events... The feelings I had for Meg are so rare and it happened so quickly. 'How I feel about Meg is different to how I've felt about any other girl,' he said.

Lauren Sanchez shows off VERY extravagant £227k watch she was gifted as a wedding present by her billionaire husband Jeff Bezos as they step out in Ibiza
showed off a very extravagant £227,711 designer watch she was gifted as a wedding present as she stepped out in Ibiza with her new husband Jeff Bezos on Thursday. The former journalist The former journalist, 55, and the Amazon billionaire, 61, who married in a lavish wedding in June, were seen heading back to their $485 million superyacht just off the party island. And on her wrist she wore a Richard Mille RM07 'Intergalactic Dark Night' watch which retails at the astonishing price. With links to her recent Blue Origin 's NS-31 mission which was an all-female spaceflight she completed in April, she proudly showed off the watch on her wrist. As she headed back to the yacht after lunch on the island she looked typically stylish in a strapless white dress, huge sunhat, dark shades and sliders. She held hands with her husband Jeff who wore a casual navy ensemble and comfortable black trainers. Their outing comes after Lauren was determined not to let the terrain dictate her style choices as she appeared to struggle to keep her footing on the rocky shore of Ibiza on Sunday night. Despite the uneven terrain, Lauren didn't forgo her stiletto heels as she clung to Jeff's hand. Joined by Leonardo DiCaprio and his girlfriend Vittoria Ceretti, Lauren oozed style in a cream summer mini dress which she paired with the nude heels. She accessorised the look with a matching cream bag and dark shades as she made it onto land. Meanwhile her husband kept it simple in a white polo shirt, grey trousers and white trainers, slightly more apt for the rocky shore. Yet DiCaprio's girlfriend also joined Lauren in her choice of heels as she was seen teetering in a black pair of kitten heels. The Italian model, 27, kept it simple in a black vest top and low waisted black skirt with mesh detailing. Pairing the look with a small black bag, she held hands with the Hollywood actor, 50, also wore all black. Leonardo appeared to wish to keep a low profile as he concealed his face with a black face mask and baseball cap. The foursome were also joined by the former editor-in-chief at British Vogue, Edward Enninful. As she headed back to the yacht after lunch on the island she looked typically stylish in a strapless white dress, huge sunhat, dark shades and sliders The watch and its astonishing price is pictured The gang made their way for their Italian-influenced, contemporary Mediterranean stylish dinner at Amalur Ibiza. Jeff and Lauren were previously seen welcoming Leo and Vittoria aboard their superyacht, Koru, earlier in the day on Sunday. The pair know their way around the ship, having previously joined the couple and bevy of stars for a trip last summer in Sardinia. The double date comes just weeks after the Amazon founder and presenter tied the knot in Venice - with the ceremony attracting criticism for its extravagance. Leonardo and Vittoria were among the VIP guests in attendance, which also included Sydney Sweeney, Oprah Winfrey and Orlando Bloom. Yet Leonardo faced a backlash, with the Hollywood star - who is known for his environmental advocacy - branded a 'hypocrite' for flying to Venice for the ceremony. The Titanic star has previously been open about his activism and a few months earlier in March, he slammed the Albanese government for giving the green light to a mine expansion in Western Australia. Yet social media users called out DiCaprio for flying to the wedding and slammed him for supporting Jeff amid Amazon's substantial carbon footprint. According to The Guardian, over 90 jets flew into the airport in the romantic city as celebrities attended the nuptials. It is not known if Leonardo took a private jet to the ceremony. Jeff and Lauren's wedding reportedly cost some $40million - which also faced protests in the city of Venice.
