Promising French teenaged skier Simond dies in training accident
April 24 (Reuters) - Promising French Alpine skier Margot Simond died after an accident while training in Val d'Isere on Thursday, the French Ski Federation announced.
The 18-year-old had been scheduled to compete in the Red Bull Alpine Park event, created by Olympic champion Clement Noel, this weekend. The even has been cancelled following Simond's death.

Organizers said a doctor attempted to resuscitate Simond after she fell but she could not be revived.
French media reported an investigation has been launched to determine the circumstances surrounding the death.
Simond was crowned French U-18 slalom champion last March and was regarded as a promising talent for the future of French Alpine skiing.

Tom Daley breaks silence on BBC's Celebrity Traitors
The Olympic diver has opened up about his time filming The Celebrity Traitors, which is set to come out this autumn. The gold medallist will be in the Scottish Highlands with 19 famous faces, including Sir Stephen Fry, Alan Carr, Jonathan Ross, Clare Balding and Kate Garraway. Tom said he got to know his fellow contestants on a 'much deeper' and 'very intense level' as they were all shut off from the world.
