Dunelm's 'excellent' £20 bistro chair 'looks fantastic in gardens'
Shoppers love Dunelm's 'excellent quality' chairs that 'look stunning' and feel 'comfortable'
Families looking forward to the summer are stocking up on garden furniture, and shoppers love £20 Dunelm chairs that "look fantastic" outdoors. Reviewers have heaped praise on the brand's Rattan Bistro Chair, available in two different colours.
Shoppers can choose between an all-black chair or a natural chair with black accents. The product description states: "This Rattan Bistro Chair is all about comfort and style, with sturdy, metal construction and a durable woven rattan seat and back. Its stackable design lets you store it indoors or out, so you can use it year-round in any room of the house that needs an extra dose of charm."
It's popular with shoppers, who have rated the chair an average score of 4.7 out of five. However, it's far from the only choice for those looking for garden furniture. For instance, shoppers might prefer the Argos Home Resin Rattan Effect Stacking Garden Chair for £14.
The Range offers its Outsunny Garden Chairs Set of 4 Stackable Rattan Effect for £89.99. Or, if you're looking for something different, Next sells Charles Bentley Natural Garden Wooden Directors Chairs for £110.
Reviewing Dunelm's Rattan Bistro Chair, one shopper commented: "Love the colour of this comfortable garden chair. It's solid construction with all weather finish means it will be cheering up my garden for years to come."
Another fan said: "These look fantastic in my garden. Great value for money." Someone else thought: "Excellent quality and value. Looks stunning in my summerhouse/crafting studio paired with a Dunelm Jute seat pad. Highly recommend." Another reviewer added: "This is an excellent garden chair. Perfect size and such good quality. Extremely easy to move around and the price is brilliant."
A shopper shared: "Just what we needed! We don't sit in the garden that often with our variable English weather so did not want to spend a lot of money on new chairs. These fitted with our existing table, are very lightweight, stackable and excellent value. Comfy too!"
However, someone with mixed feedback said: "Quality of the chairs are excellent but... Very small and neat. Not built for a larger person to sit on. We had a slight problem whereby my son in Law could not fit on the chair!!! would recommend though as they are well made."
Another shopper claimed: "I bought 4 of these chairs last year, 2 grey and 2 turquoise. Unfortunately the turquoise ones have split and are not repairable. They have been stored etc in the same way (...). I am not impressed and won't be purchasing again."
A different reviewer wrote: "I bought the Seafoam colour and they have lasted just two seasons - always under a cover, and stored inside over winter. Took them out this spring, and all the rattan is breaking into pieces. What a shame."
Meanwhile, someone wrote: "Very thin coating of paint easily scratched off before I got them home even scratched off under protective packaging cheap and cheerful but not sure they will last more than 1 year and definitely not if left outside."

I purchased a '£20 pouffe' from Dunelm and it's a been a game changer for my lounge
In an effort to make lounging about at home even more comfortable, I recently invested in a soft velvety pouffe from Dunelm. With selected colours now half price, this could be your sign to invest in one too. The Eliza Pouffe in Thistle has been reduced from £40 to £20 online. Made from soft velvet with neat piped edges, the plush accessory adds an 'elegant' touch to any seating area. I originally purchased the pouffe in a beige colour, paying full price for the privilege. An automatic upgrade to my living room, I immediately went back and got another one. Soft and plush, the Eliza pouffe is perfect for putting your feet up after a long day. Thanks to its lightweight design, it means I can move it around to find the perfect position when plonked in front of the telly. The velvet introduces a rich texture, making the space feel warm and cosy. While I did question the sanity of buying a light-coloured piece of furniture that people would put their feet on, the pouffe still looks as good as new. Filled with poly beads, it feels firm enough to stop tired legs from sinking while still feeling soft and comfy against the skin. I haven't seen the beads sink too much yet, but I assume that they can be refilled if they start to sag. Being able to pop my feet up has been a real game changer - it makes my seating area more comfortable without having to fork out for an expensive foot stool. While I love my pouffes, other alternatives are also available. Argos, for example, is selling the Habitat Fabric Storage Footstool in a choice of rich moss green colour for £50. Not quite as versatile as the Dunelm pouffe, this model has handy storage to keep smaller items out of sight. Elsewhere on Amazon, the Icon Milano Velvet Bean Bag Pouffe comes in six colours and is currently reduced with prices from £37.99. Shoppers have given it a 4.6 out of five-star rating, calling it "excellent quality" and "great value for money." The stylish Eliza Pouffe has earned glowing feedback on the Dunelm website, boasting an impressive average rating of 4.7 out of 5 stars from over 120 reviews. One buyer said: 'Comfy. So comfy, great after a hard day's work. Don't know why I didn't get one ages ago.' Another called it " very comfortable and stylish,' while a third added: "Lovely and comfortable, just right for tired legs, and it looks great too. Would definitely recommend it." Not all Dunelm shoppers were quite so impressed, with some mentioning that the 'orange umber' shade appeared different in person than it did online. One reviewer wrote: "It's a good pouffe, quite comfortable. But it's not orange by any stretch—more of a brown or magenta tone. That was disappointing, as I was expecting a true orange." Overall most buyers were happy with their purchase, even those who paid full price. A five-star review summed it up saying: "A wonderful room accessory. I'm thrilled with my Eliza Pouffe. It's an elegant addition to my room and looks far more expensive than it was."
