Al-Qassam Brigades Target Zionist Enemy Command Centers in Gaza and Rafah
Gaza - Saba: The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), announced on Monday that they had targeted two command-and-control centers belonging to the Zionist enemy forces—one east of Gaza City and the other south of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip. In two separate statements received by the Yemeni News Agency (SABA), Al-Qassam stated: 1. They shelled an enemy command post on Al-Sawrani Hill east of the Al-Tuffah neighborhood in eastern Gaza City with mortar rounds. 2. They struck another enemy command center along the Salah al-Din Axis near Za'rab Hill south of Rafah using short-range "Rajoom" missile systems (114mm caliber). These operations come as part of the Palestinian resistance factions' response to the genocidal crimes committed by the Zionist enemy—with American backing—against the people of Gaza since October 7, 2023, including mass killings, starvation campaigns, systematic destruction, and forced displacement. The attacks continue despite international appeals and International Court of Justice (ICJ) orders demanding an immediate halt. Whatsapp Telegram Email Print

According to Anadolu Agency, Burhaneddin Duran, head of the Turkish presidency's communications department, expressed his deep sorrow via the X platform on Monday over Israel's killing of five journalists, including Al-Jazeera correspondents Anas al-Sharif and Mohammed Qreiqea, in an airstrike targeting a journalists' tent near Al-Shifa Hospital west of Gaza City. It seeks to destroy humanity and the truth." He added, "I strongly condemn Israel's systematic targeting of journalists, which constitutes a war crime that violates international law. I also strongly condemn Israel's lawless brutality and its attempts to conceal the truth." He added, "I remember with compassion the 237 journalists killed in Israeli attacks on Gaza since October 7, 2023. Israel will not be able to conceal this genocide and will be held accountable before the law." On Sunday evening, Al-Jazeera correspondents Anas al-Sharif and Mohammed Qreiqea, along with three other members of the channel's crew, were killed in an Israeli airstrike that targeted a journalists' tent near Al-Shifa Hospital. With the martyrdom of al-Sharif and his colleagues, the number of journalists killed in the Gaza Strip has risen to 237 since the beginning of the genocide perpetrated by the Israeli entity on October 7, 2023, according to the Government Media Office in the Gaza Strip.
