Kosugi made a strong impression in Djurgardens' Allsvenskan and Conference League campaigns last season.
Initially a back-up to Samuel Dahl, he became a key player after Dahl's transfer to Roma.

Rangers 'hold talks' with Scottish Premiership star but deal on hold
The young talent, who came through at Shonan Bellmare, is yet to make his first-team breakthrough but has represented Japan at under-17, under-19, and under-20 levels.
The Hoops could face stiff competition from Paris Saint-Germain and Atalanta, who are also said to be keen on the left-back.
Djurgardens' impressive performance in the Conference League, where they reached the semi-finals, has increased interest in their players.
However, they were unable to make it past Chelsea in the semi-finals, losing 4-1 in the first leg and 1-0 in the second.
Kosugi admitted to FotbollSkanalen: "I couldn't do anything to Madueke.
"He was so good.
"I tried to stop him but he created a lot anyway."
He added: "He's one of the best wingers in the Premier League, so it's difficult to face him.
"But if I want to get there (to that level) I have to develop a lot."
Celtic may need a new left-back with Greg Taylor looking set to leave on a free transfer.
Kieran Tierney is returning on a free transfer, but with Jeffrey Schlupp's loan ending, Tierney would be the only option in that position.
Talks have been held with Schlupp over a possible permanent deal.

Liverpool transfer news: Reds confirm Arsenal hijack as Alexander Isak message sent
Liverpool have made a real statement in the summer transfer window and the Reds could spend even more as Arne Slot continues to bolster his side ahead of a potential title defence Liverpool remain very keen to add even more new faces to their squad despite a hectic summer. The Reds have spent heavily as Arne Slot attempts to assemble a side capable of keeping hold of the Premier League title. Florian Wirtz, Hugo Ekitike and Milos Kerkez are all among their headline arrivals. But there could be an even more expensive signing on the way before the end of the window. Liverpool remain interested in Alexander Isak despite having had a bid turned down for the Newcastle sensation. Whether they're able to get a deal over the line before the start of the season remains to be seen. While more signings are on the agenda, focus may soon turn to exits as Liverpool attempt to balance the books. Luis Diaz has already completed a move to Bayern Munich and he could potentially be followed out of the exit door by Darwin Nunez and Harvey Elliott. With all of that being said, take a look at all of the latest rumours coming out of the Red side of Anfield: Liverpool confirm striker deal Liverpool have confirmed they have beaten Arsenal to the signing of Salford City striker Will Wright despite the Gunners offering more. It was previously suggested that the North London side were at the front of the queue for his services having offered around £250k. A statement from the Reds read: 'Liverpool FC have completed the signing of Will Wright from Salford City. The 17-year-old striker joins the Reds in a permanent transfer having made his senior bow with Salford during the 2024-25 campaign. 'Wright debuted in November 2024 when he featured in an EFL Trophy tie against Wolverhampton Wanderers U21s, and then earlier this year he played once in the Emirates FA Cup and twice in League Two. 'He linked up with Rob Page's Liverpool U21s squad last week and made his first appearance on Saturday, featuring for the final half-hour of a goalless draw with Hull City at the Academy.' Shearer sends Isak message Alan Shearer has demanded Newcastle let Alexander Isak leave amid interest from Liverpool. He said: "I'm not angry at all towards him. I understand how football works. I know what happens in and around the game. I probably understand his mentality. "Do I like it? Do I understand it? Probably two different things, but I know what football is about and how it works. Obviously, Liverpool has been onto him and his agent. "I just thought it might have happened next year. But if it really is impossible for Eddie [Howe] to turn him around, you get your big money for him, you get other people in, hopefully before, and then you move on. "No individual is bigger than any football club, and if he doesn't want to be there, fine, get what you can and get him out and say, 'Thanks very much.'" Isak returns to Newcastle Speaking of Isak, the Swedish striker has now returned to Newcastle ahead of a reunion with his teammates. The forward was pictured driving into the club's training ground for treatment on an injury. He was the only player to arrive, with the squad having been given a break after flying back from their pre-season tour to Asia. Isak has been training in Spain, having decided not to link up with the side and instead train on his own in Spain.

One fan said: 'We were actually outside the hotel as we wanted to get glimpse of Tom Holland who was staying there during Spider-Man filming. 'Then all of a sudden Jota just strolled out. 'He was happily chatting to us and doing selfies. 'My friend asked if he'd seen Tom but he said he hadn't but had seen his fiancée Zendaya. 'The march was getting louder and closer so his pals were getting very flustered telling him that he had to go. 'He didn't seem too bothered though and kept doing pictures but the people he was with started shouting that he had to get away. 'They then ushered him into a vehicle which sped off.'
