The country is fiercely divided over sauce habits, with two-fifths (40%) saying sauce preferences reveal something about a person's personality.

According to research from Aldi, the nation is also home to a significant clique of enthusiastic sauce mixologists.
Seven in ten enjoy mixing sauces, with ketchup and mayo the go-to pairing for 43%. Three in five (59%) go a step further, admitting to whipping up their own custom blends at home – with almost a quarter (24%) doing so 'regularly'.

In light of the research, this summer, Aldi is giving the nation the culinary contraption they never knew they needed: a limited-edition triple-sauce bottle that squeezes ketchup, mayo and mustard at the same time for one perfect, triple-hit mouthful.
The three-in-one bottle, named The Mighty Trio, launches as new research reveals just how passionate – and opinionated - Brits are about their condiments.
Unsurprisingly, almost three quarters (72%) of Brits would therefore be eager to try Aldi's new invention serving all three sauces at once.

But not everyone's mixing it up. A quarter prefer to keep sauces separate. 15% say ketchup on pasta should be outlawed altogether – just one of the many 'sauce crimes' Brits have witnessed.
Top culinary offences include drizzling sauce on ice cream (14%), a roast dinner (12%), fruit (11%) and even cereal (10%).
But the judgement doesn't stop at what you pair your sauce with. Three in five Brits are dippers, and over two in five (45%) admit to secretly judging how others apply sauce – whether it's the technique, the quantity, or the 'on top' approach rather than dipping.

Perhaps this explains why we don't trust others to sauce our food – with 72% saying they feel anxious when someone else does it for them.
Almost one in three (32%) have even skipped asking for a sauce at a restaurant to avoid judgement, and 42% of Brits have confessed to packing their own bottles when travelling or dining out.
But the ultimate dealbreaker this summer? 84% of Brits would consider walking out of a BBQ with no ketchup. For those prepping the perfect Bank Holiday gathering, Aldi's range of condiments, including Bramwells Tomato Ketchup (89p, 550g), Bramwells Squeezy Real Mayonnaise (95p, 500ml) and Bramwells American Style Mustard (99p, 290g), means no one will be left disappointed.

Aldi UK's Julie Ashfield said: 'It's clear Brits love their condiments, with a huge number of sauce mixologists whipping up their own concoctions at home.
'The Mighty Trio is Aldi's answer to the BBQ juggling act, giving you all three classic condiments in one easy squeeze. It's fun, practical and the ultimate hack for anyone who likes their burgers, hot dogs or chips with a little bit of everything!'

This follows after a mum, who's renovating her first family property, revealed what she discovered during a recent shopping expedition. ‌ She spotted brilliant seasonal items at B&M alongside Homesense, and she was equally impressed by Primark's selection. 'As a society, we're all about nostalgia, and these items really ignite that warm, fuzzy feeling associated with it. 'Being transported back to your childhood can equate to big money. Think 90s Beanie Babies and early TY releases. Jellycat originals that are rare or retired can often fetch several thousand pounds. 'Original Care Bears also regularly reach the several hundred mark. Condition and provenance are key and original tags can easily double a toy's value. He added: 'Labubu is an exciting new player, but whether it stands the test of time will depend on how the brand evolves and what it offers in the coming years.' The best way to spot if your toys are hot or not is through monitoring social media, online forums and community chatter. "The key is keeping your ear to the ground. You want to be a trendsetter, not a trend follower. 'Our homes can be an absolute treasure chest when it comes to the toys we've held onto. "It's estimated that Brits have more than £3,000 worth of unused or forgotten items in their homes and a significant amount of that is toy-related.' It comes as research of 2,000 adults found over three-quarters of Brits (76 per cent) have toys at home - with the average having 16 in their property. In fact, almost a third (32 per cent) have sold a toy second-hand - with the average punter raking in £125.92 on their old items. The electronic dance music festival, a four-day event held annually on the August Bank Holiday weekend in Daresbury, Cheshire, is located near Junction 11 of the M56 motorway. Their warning stems from pedestrians walking on the motorway or vehicles stopping to drop off or pick up passengers - which is illegal and highly dangerous. Offenders who are caught doing this may be fined, with those arriving by car instructed to use designated collection points which are clearly marked off the motorway. To this end, drivers are encouraged to plan ahead and allow extra time for their journeys to avoid congestion, while also following dedicated event signs - rather than relying on sat nav systems which may lead them onto unsuitable roads. For the event, extra police and National Highways traffic officers will be stationed near junction 11 of the M56 to manage traffic and ensure safety. Car parks for the festival site will open at midday on Thursday and close at 2 pm on Monday. Traffic from the north, south and east are urged to use junction 11 of the M56, while traffic from the west should use junction 12. Congestion hotspots include junctions 10, 11 and 12 of the M56 and the M56/M6 interchange at Lymm are expected to be particularly busy. Electronic motorway signs will be used to provide real-time updates on congestion and incidents. Creamfields, which runs from Thursday at 2 pm to Sunday at 11 pm, will have an expected 70,000 attendees. Watch Tesla test self-driving cars on London streets as it passes famous landmarks TAKE THE LEED Reading and Leeds Festival is also taking place over the Bank Holiday weekend, running from Thursday to Sunday. At the Leeds iteration, held at Bramham Park, around 90,000 attendees are expected and those driving to the event have been warned that roadworks on certain routes, including the M1, A1(M) and A64, could cause delays. Drivers are advised to plan ahead and allow extra time for their journeys, while on-site parking is included for ticketholders - with routes to car parks clearly signposted. Helpfully, a dedicated festival bus will run from Leeds railway station to the site from Wednesday to Monday, with tickets available online. As with Creamfields, National Highways will have extra traffic officers on duty and electronic signs will provide updates on incidents and congestion.
