Sarah Michelle Gellar Wants in on The SCREAM 7 Action - 'I'm Waiting on a Call' — GeekTyrant
By now, Scream fans should know to expect the unexpected, characters return from the dead, the rules are rewritten, and Ghostface is never quite who you think. But if Sarah Michelle Gellar had her way, she'd be the next familiar face back in the fold.
While walking the red carpet for the new film Pretty Hurts , the Buffy the Vampire Slayer icon revealed that she actually tried to get back into the Scream game, but her phone never rang. Gellar told ET with a laugh:
"No, I'm not in Scream, I tried to get in Scream, but nobody wanted me."
Gellar played ill-fated sorority sister Cici Cooper in Scream 2 , a character who didn't make it past the second act. But given the franchise's recent trend of bringing characters back from the dead for Scream 7, she figured maybe her time could come again.
"They're bringing everybody back. I kept thinking I would get a call. I didn't get a call. There's a lot of people that died in all the Scream movies that are back. Skeet [Ulrich], [Matthew] Lillard, I'm just saying, I'm waiting for my call.'
With Ulrich, Lillard, Scott Foley, and even David Arquette coming back, the door seems wide open for some Cici Cooper resurrection, but, Cici probably wasn't a big enough character in the franchise, and I imagine she wouldn't fit in with the story that director Kevin Williamson is looking to tell.

DNC taco truck stunt trolling Trump backfires on social media with Vance, GOP: 'Can't fix stupid'
The Democratic National Committee (DNC) parked a custom-wrapped food truck in front of the Republican National Committee headquarters in Washington, D.C., in an effort to troll President Trump over his tariff policies. The stunt received widespread mockery from conservatives. The DNC used the acronym TACO for "Trump Always Chickens Out" to provoke Trump's ire. The phrase was coined by Wall Street analysts when referring to Trump's tariff policies, suggesting Trump will walk back the steep reciprocal tariffs he announced in April. "Trump always chickens out. We're just bringing the tacos to match," DNC Chair Ken Martin told Fox News Digital of the effort. The move did not impress conservatives on social media who highlighted it as an example of Democrats struggling with their messaging during Trump's presidency. "The party that brought you the hugely successful 'Dark Brandon' and 'Republicans are Weird' campaigns are now going all in on 'TACO,'" Washington Free Beacon reporter Chuck Ross posted on X. "We have the lamest opposition in American history," Vice President JD Vance posted on X. "Democrats are doing what they do best: cheap gimmicks, free handouts, and I wouldn't be surprised if they stuck us with the bill," Western Regional & National Hispanic press secretary Christian Martinez posted on X. In a statement to Fox News Digital, NRCC spokesman Mike Marinella mocked the DNC for parking the truck at a church a block away. "Looks like the Democrats took a break from fighting amongst themselves to stage a pathetic stunt," Marinella said. The most embarrassing part? They couldn't even get the location right. You can't fix stupid." "LMFAO," Zach Parkinson, RNC communications director, told Fox News Digital. "A taco truck? Are they going to be giving out free vasectomies again, too? These people are morons. No wonder Democrats' approval rating is at a historic low." Abhi Rahman, the DNC's deputy communications director, took aim at Vance's X post, telling Fox News Digital Democrats know Vance is the "cringiest VP in American history." "We understand that JD Vance, the cringiest VP in American history who cannot order a donut like a normal human being, prefers to take food away from people, including 40 million Americans whose SNAP benefits were just scrapped in the GOP budget," he said. Earlier this week, conservative commentators took aim at a TikTok posted by Rep. Eric Swalwell, D-Calif., in which he is filmed eating a taco in an attempt to mock Trump's tariff strategy, and some declared it "cringeworthy."

AVENGERS: DOOMSDAY Rumor Reveals New Details on Channing Tatum's Gambit — GeekTyrant
The multiverse might finally be paying off. A new rumor about Avengers: Doomsday has surfaced, and it offers new context Channing Tatum's Gambit. After years of false starts and a nearly doomed solo project, Tatum's Remy LeBeau finally got his big screen debut in Deadpool & Wolverine , and he's going to be stepping onto the battlefield again in Doomsday , and no we know what universe he's tied to. According to QuidVacuo, the upcoming film will reveal that Tatum's Gambit exists in the same alternate universe Monica Rambeau landed in during the post-credits of The Marvels . That was the scene where she woke up to see Binary and Kelsey Grammer's Beast, signaling a world where the X-Men exist. "In Avengers: Doomsday, we will discover that Gambit's (Deadpool & Wolverine) universe is the same one Monica Rambeau arrived at in the post-credits scene of The Marvels." The MCU has been stacking multiverse threads with varying levels of follow-through, so tying Gambit's origin into a previously dangling tease is interesting, and with several legacy X-Men actors returning for Doomsday , I'm excited to see how they will all end up being utilized in the story. Tatum himself is keeping things close to the chest, but even his dodgy answers are entertaining. When asked about his involvement, he responded: 'Personally, all I was guaranteed was a chair,' Tatum said. 'They said that I have a chair, and I can at least watch the movie from the chair. You know, and it was just my name, it wasn't exactly Gambit.' 'So, I work in the world of just like, of binary yes or no's, and I've only been guaranteed so far a chair to watch the movie in, so that's where I'm at,' he joked. That said, the writing's on the wall. Deadpool & Wolverine already teased Gambit escaping The Void, and Tatum is officially confirmed for Doomsday , and there's no doubt we'll see him back in action. I think fans would love to see Channing Tatum's Gambit get some big exciting action-packed momentd in the movie. The Russo Brothers direct the movie from a script by Stephen McFeely, with whom they previously collaborated on the Captain America and Avengers franchises. Avengers: Doomsday is set to be released on December 18, 2026, with Avengers: Secret Wars scheduled to arrive on December 17, 2026.
