Sri Lotus Developers and Realty Limited, a real estate company backed by Bollywood stars Shah Rukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan, is set to enter the primary market with its initial public offering (IPO) worth Rs 792 crore.Both SRK and Big B have reportedly invested Rs 10.1 crore and Rs 10 crore, respectively, in the company, which is promoted by real estate developer and film producer Anand Pandit.According to a report in The Economic Times, other celebrities, including Hrithik Roshan, Ajay Devgn, Ektaa Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan, Tiger Shroff, and Rajkummar Rao have also invested in the firm. Their involvement has drawn attention to the IPO, making it one of the most talked-about public issues this season.The IPO of Sri Lotus Developers is a book-built issue amounting to Rs 792 crore. It is entirely a fresh issue, meaning all the proceeds will go to the company. The subscription for the IPO will open on July 30, 2025, and close on August 1, 2025.The allotment is expected to be finalised on August 4, 2025, and the shares are likely to be listed on both BSE and NSE on August 6, 2025. The price band for the issue has not yet been disclosed.Motilal Oswal Investment Advisors Limited is acting as the book-running lead manager, while Kfin Technologies Limited is the registrar for the issue.The company is promoted by Anand Kamalnayan Pandit, Roopa Anand Pandit, and Ashka Anand Pandit. Incorporated in February 2015, Sri Lotus Developers specialises in redevelopment projects, mainly in the ultra-luxury and luxury segments across Mumbai's western suburbs.The company focuses on both residential and commercial properties. As of June 30, 2025, it had a total developable area of 0.93 million square feet across various projects.USE OF IPO PROCEEDSAccording to the draft papers, the company plans to use Rs 550 crore from the IPO proceeds to invest in three of its subsidiaries—Richfeel Real Estate Private Limited, Dhyan Projects Private Limited, and Tryksha Real Estate Private Limited.These funds will partly support the construction and development costs of three ongoing projects: Amalfi, The Arcadian, and Varun. Gold and silver showed heavy profit taking last week amid a rebound in the dollar index and the U.S. and Japan trade deal. The dollar index rebounded ahead of the Fed monetary policy meetings and triggered profit taking in precious metals. The US-Japan trade deal also increased hopes for the US-EU trade deal before U.S. tariff deadline of 1st August and also pushed gold and silver prices lower.'The U.S. trade tariff uncertainty and geopolitical tensions are supporting gold and silver prices at lower levels. The U.S. trade deal with numerous countries before the tariff deadline of 1st August looks impossible and recent tensions between Thailand and Cambodia could support precious metal prices,' said Manoj Kumar Jain of Prithvifinmart Commodity the US Dollar Index, DXY, was hovering near the 97.73 mark, gaining 0.09 or 0.09%. On January 31, 2025, Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna sold their luxury apartment in the Oberoi 360 West project, located in Mumbai's Worli, for ₹80 crore, according to documents accessed by IndexTap. Purchased in 2017, both properties yielded an 89% return on investment. In April 2025, Akshay Kumar sold a commercial office space in Lower Parel for ₹8 crore in April 2025. He had purchased the unit in 2020 for ₹4.85 crore, earning a 65% return.

Shanti Gold International IPO subscription status: The initial public offering (IPO) of Shanti Gold International, which opened for public subscription on Friday, July 25, has received a favourable response from investors. The NSE data suggests that the ₹360 crore offering of Shanti Gold International received bids for 3,92,51,625 shares, against 1,26,67,200 shares on offer, resulting in a subscription of 3.10 times as of 1:06 PM on Monday, July 28. Among the investor categories, retail investors led the demand by oversubscribing the category reserved for them by 4.57 times. This was followed by non-institutional investors (NIIs), who bid for 3.77 times, and qualified institutional buyers (QIBs), for 0.02 times. Shanti Gold International IPO details The public offering is a book-built issue, which comprises an entirely fresh issue of 18.1 million equity shares worth ₹360.11 crore. Shanti Gold International IPO is available at a price band of ₹189-199 per share, and a lot size of 75 shares. Thus, investors can bid for a minimum of 75 shares of Shanti Gold International IPO and in multiples thereof. To bid for one lot or 75 shares of Shanti Gold International IPO, a retail investor would require a minimum of ₹14,925, taking the upper end of the IPO price into consideration.
