Pro boxer and influencer Stefi Cohen arrested on domestic violence charge a year after leaking nudes of ex's new flame

Daily Mail07-07-2025
Powerlifter turned professional boxer Stefi Cohen has been arrested on a charge of domestic violence battery one year after she allegedly hacked into her ex-boyfriend's laptop and leaked nude photos of his new lover.
Cohen, whose full name is Stefanie Cohen Magarici, was charged with sexual cyber-harassment, offenses against computer users, criminal mischief and resisting arrest without violence back in May 2024.
And according to TMZ Sports, the 32-year-old fitness influencer from Miami was arrested for alleged domestic violence on Wednesday.
DailyMail.com has reached out to Cohen for comment and to the Miami-Dade Police Department for further details.
Since her previous relationship ended in bitter fashion, Cohen - known as 'Dr. Stefi Cohen' to her one million followers on Instagram - found love again with new boyfriend Tristan Hamm, who is also a boxer and influencer with over two million followers on the platform.
The pair had shared countless photos together over the past 18 months, with Tristan's last coming on June 25 - a week before his girlfriend's alleged arrest. Stefi has not posted any snaps with her man since March 28.
Cohen was previously in a high-profile relationship with another influencer, Hayden Bowe. However, it's unclear if he is the same ex-boyfriend connected to the alleged victim of last year's sexual cyber-harassment scandal.
The Venezuela native allegedly accessed the ex in question's computer by trying commonly-used passwords, before accessing his iCloud - where she found several nude images of his new girlfriend and posted them to a group chat she was part of, according to court documents seen by NBC Miami.
He had reportedly left the computer behind when he left the home they shared in March 2022.
The alleged victim contacted police in November 2023, saying Cohen told her she was sending the images 'with the purpose of exposing and humiliating her.'
Cohen was arrested at her Coconut Grove home as she walked outside, with police saying she tried to resist arrest.
According to the police report, Cohen 'did not comply and began to walk at fast pace back to her residence.'
When police informed her she could not go back in the home, Cohen allegedly 'stated she was not going with them and began to physically resist.'
After being placed in handcuffs, Cohen reportedly 'tensed up her arms' and 'right leg hooked' one of the officers, allegedly trying to 'sweep him off his feet.'
Cohen continued trying to resist arrest after she was placed in the back of a squad car, per court documents.
Police say once in the patrol car, she 'placed her right leg on the latch to unlock the door and grabbed it with her toes.'
Cohen then 'pulled the latch with her toes and intentionally broke the locking system causing the door not to lock at all.'
She was taken to the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center but was released after posting a $3,300 bond and ordered to stay away from her ex and his new partner.
According to Men's Health, Cohen holds the all-time world records for the squat, total, and deadlift for the 123-pound weight class.
She has had six professional boxing fights to date, winning four of them and losing one while drawing the other.

Elite netballers reveal distress after singer who pleaded guilty to domestic violence performs at grand final

Australia's elite netballers have expressed their disappointment that an artist who performed at last week's Super Netball grand final has previously pleaded guilty to domestic violence charges. Siala Robson, who appeared on The Voice in 2020, was one of three Universal Music singers selected to entertain more than 15,000 netball fans during half-time at Rod Laver Arena last Saturday. Robson appeared in court in Queensland last year and pleaded guilty to two charges of assault occasioning bodily harm in a public place while adversely affected by an intoxicating substance. No conviction was recorded and Robson was ordered to pay $1,000 in compensation and given a community service order of 60 hours. Players union the Australian Netball Players' Association [ANPA] issued a statement on Friday expressing the distress of their athletes. 'ANPA is extremely disappointed that an individual, who has previously been found guilty of domestic violence charges, was engaged to perform at one of the sport's premier events,' it said. 'This decision has caused genuine hurt among the playing group and undermines the values they stand for – particularly their strong and ongoing commitment to ending domestic violence in Australia.' Netball Australia issued a statement saying they were not aware of the offences committed by Robson before the event and the matter was only brought to their attention after the match. 'Netball Australia has a zero-tolerance position on violence and actively campaigns against domestic violence with the support of our playing group, who are deeply connected to this society-wide issue,' it said. 'With respect to the necessary checks and balances in place, we relied on the third-party agency we partnered with to supply the talent. This was not sufficient and Netball Australia will immediately strengthen its event risk management protocols to ensure this doesn't happen again.' Universal Music has been contacted for comment. ANPA said they acknowledged Netball Australia has accepted responsibility for 'this serious oversight' and appreciated the governing body's commitment to ensuring it does not happen again. 'They wore purple armbands at every Suncorp Super Netball match last year to raise awareness of violence against women, recently produced a video reaffirming their commitment to being part of the solution, and continue to work on further initiatives aimed at making Australia safer for all.' Melbourne Vixens defeated West Coast Fever in the entertaining decider, watched by a record crowd of 15,013. The total attendance for the Super Netball season was 386,455, making it the past year's most-attended women's sporting league in Australia. Diddy's ex Cassie Ventura returns to social media for first time since giving birth... after painful testimony

Cassie Ventura made her return to social media on Thursday after giving birth in May. The 38-year-old singer reposted a humorous video to her Instagram Stories after sharing her last Instagram post on April 19 of this year and welcoming her third child with her husband Alex Fine on May 27. The post, which included a comment from Ventura, appeared to also be her first Instagram activity since her emotional testimony against her abusive ex-boyfriend Sean 'Diddy' Combs, 55, just weeks before she gave birth. Diddy has denied her claims and has maintained his innocence. The jury ultimately acquitted the rap mogul of the most serious charges, but did convict him in July of two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution, relating to Ventura and an anonymous woman referred to as 'Jane' at trial. The charges carry a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison for each count, though prosecutors have indicated that sentencing guidelines suggest a little over 5 years maximum. Ventura made her return to Instagram by reposting a video originally shared by Jen Kearney, who bills herself as a baby and toddler sleep consultant. The video, which was soundtracked with DJKhaled and Rihanna's song Wild Thoughts, featured a group of people standing outdoors for a gathering. Suddenly a man dressed in a white button-up shirt stars dancing, even as the rest of the people around him stand perfectly still. 'When your old self slowly starts coming out postpartum,' read the caption on the original clip. Ventura weighed in with her own comment to her Insta Stories repost: 'Factual. Little by little lol.' She appeared to be thinking about getting back into the swing of things after giving birth to her two-month-old son, whose name has not yet been reported. She and Fine share two other children, daughters Frankie, five, and Sunny, four. Ventura and Fine, a personal trainer, got engaged in August 2019 and tied the knot the following month with a ceremony held in Malibu, California. The two began dating sometime after the end of Ventura's on–off relationship with Diddy in 2018, which wasn't announced until October of that year. Ventura and Diddy began dating back in 2007, though they reportedly broke up in late 2015 and again in the summer of 2016, before their final split. During Diddy's trial on charges of racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking, Ventura testified that the rapper had subjected her to beatings and deviant sexual manipulation during the course of their relationship. During her tearful testimony, she accused Diddy of forcing her to masturbate while looking at a male prostitute and describing what she saw to Diddy, who would watch the encounters. 'It was always awkward… sitting describing someone's penis to another male was pretty awkward and humiliating but eventually it became normal. It would lead to intercourse,' she claimed. Ventura said Combs and the male escort would sometimes both have sex with her, while at other times only the escort would while her boyfriend instead watched. Shockingly, Ventura alleged that the escorts could only ejaculate when given the OK by Diddy, and afterward he had her go into a separate room with her to 'put the semen on his body… usually on his chest, on his nipples.' Ventura also gave a dramatic account of the infamous 2016 hotel hallway surveillance video that shows her trying to leave a freak off in the now-closed InterContinental Hotel in Los Angeles' Century City neighborhood. The video shows Combs — who is wearing only a white towel — punching and kicking Ventura before she is able to get on the elevator to safety, then dragging her back to the hotel room where the freak off party was held.

Pennsylvania shooting: man kills neighbour, ambushes and wounds two state troopers

A 61-year-old man shot and killed his neighbor in rural Pennsylvania on Thursday and then ambushed responding state troopers, wounding two and shooting down a drone while firing dozens of rounds from a semiautomatic weapon, police said. The attacker was killed by police. The boyfriend of the woman who was killed, Lori Wasko, called 911 from their home near Thompson, in Susquehanna county, to report that shots had been fired, state police Col. Christopher Paris told reporters. Police did not say why Carmine Faino decided to kill 57-year-old Wasko outside her home and then fire at responding troopers Joseph Perechinsky and William Jenkins. Faino also fired at police vehicles and at an SUV operated by a responding emergency worker, Paris said. The EMT was injured when his vehicle veered off the roadway. 'I don't want to speak to his motive leading up to this. I would say you can draw certain conclusions from the standpoint that we believe Faino shot our victim prior to our arrival and then from a position of tactical advantage fired dozens and dozens of rounds', Paris said. Investigators are looking into Faino's past. Both troopers were in stable condition with serious injuries Thursday night, he said. Paris said the troopers 'were dispatched to check the welfare of an individual. And there was additional information about shots being fired. But upon their arrival, they were immediately fired upon and ambushed. They are very lucky to be alive'. Perechinsky applied a tourniquet to Jenkins, and two other troopers were able to help rescue them, Paris said. He praised Perechinsky for providing first aid to his colleague after they were shot and for working while wounded to prevent further injuries or death. 'Perechinsky was able to commandeer a tractor-trailer that was driving by, and he ordered the driver of that tractor-trailer to pull his semi rig across the roadway so that more people would not drive down that roadway and potentially be subjected to the fire', the police spokesperson said. Perechinsky was 'still thinking at that point in time, after being shot twice in the chest, what can I do to secure this location? What can I do to make sure nobody else gets hurt?' Paris added. The troopers were flown to hospitals for medical care. Pennsylvania's governor, Josh Shapiro, called the two troopers heroes and said Perechinsky 'saved lives'. 'He acted decisively. He acted thoughtfully. And the work he did today exemplifies the absolute best of the Pennsylvania state police', Shapiro said. Faino had a rifle and did not comply with demands, a state police statement said. He was 'ultimately shot and killed during the incident', police said. The shooting happened about 5 miles north of the borough of Thompson, 163 miles north of Philadelphia. Erika Mills, who lives less than a mile from where the shootings took place, said it made for a terrifying day in a community that is usefully peaceful. 'This is a very very quiet town. There has never been anything comparable', she said.
