AGAWAM, Mass. (WWLP) – Six Flags New England announced that the park will be closed on Saturday.

Six Flags New England posted on 'X' that due to the forecasted inclement weather, the park will be closed on Saturday. Any tickets that were purchased for Saturday will be valid through September 1st.
There will likely be a rain/snow mix Saturday morning, with rain showers Saturday afternoon. High temperatures in the upper 30s and low 40s.
The park will be open on Saturdays and Sundays from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Beginning Friday, April 18, it will be open the entire week as kids are off from school through Sunday, April 27. The park then closes Monday through Thursday until Memorial Day weekend, when the water park is set to open. Select days until June when the park is open daily for the summer.

PALMER, Mass. (WWLP) – Palmer town officials shared that crews will be conducting hydrant tests Tuesday evening. Overnight ramp closure on I-91N ramp in Springfield on Tuesday Palmer Water District #1 announced that hydrant testing will take place on Randall Street after 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The surrounding areas will be flushed to clear the lines overnight. Residents are being reminded that these activities may cause temporary discoloration in water, and that hot water use should be avoided during hydrant testing. You should not drink water or run laundry while it is discolored. On Wednesday morning, it is recommended that cold water be run for a few minutes in order to clear the lines. Chris spoke with students in the 5th and 6th grade about all things weather. Rich Tettemer to Retire from WWLP in Massachusetts After 37 Years
WWLP anchor Rich Tettemer is retiring after 37 years at the Springfield, Massachusetts NBC affiliate. He started his career as a videotape editor at WFLA in Tampa, Florida in 1984 and went on to become a weekend sports anchor at KODE in Joplin, Missouri. Tettemer joined WWLP on Patriots Day, April 18, 1988 with the with both the Boston Marathon and the Red Sox morning game. He was named a morning anchor on October 16, 2006, after 18 and a half years on the sports desk and has been the morning news anchor for another 18 and a half years. Below, Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey, along with his colleagues said goodbye to Tettemer. Tettemer will be replaced by reporter Julia O'Keefe. She'll join Kaelee Collins on Monday. Last week, weather reporter Jack Wu said he was leaving the station for a job in West Palm Beach, Florida.
