British rock band Black Country, New Road are back with a new album. Today, they've announced their third full-length, Forever Howlong, set for release on April 4th via Ninja Tune. They've also revealed dates for a 2025 tour, along with the first single, 'Besties.'
Energetic and instrument-forward as ever, 'Besties' is a bright introduction to the band's next chapter following the departure of singer Isaac Wood in 2022. The accompanying music video, which premieres later today, is led by director and choreographer Rianne White who lends a definitively cinematic touch to the visual.

Produced by James Ford, Forever Howlong is poised to center the band's three female members: May Kershaw, Tyler Hyde, and Georgia Ellery. A statement about the album promises a record spotlighting 'three distinct voices, which the band weave expertly together into an ambitious, meticulously detailed record that includes everything from folk to prog via baroque pop and touches of alt-rock.'
Forever Howlong will be available across a number of formats, including recycled black vinyl, a white label 2LP signed by the band, an Indie exclusive negative effect artworked 2LP, and a Collector's Edition version featuring an alternate tracklisting on translucent eco jazz red vinyl. Pre-orders are ongoing.
The band has also shared plans for a US tour kicking off in Chicago in May. Throughout the month, they'll hit Omaha, Denver, Salt Lake City, three cities throughout California, Portland, and Seattle. Once their time in America wraps, they'll start a run of summer festival appearances, starting with Barcelona's Primavera Sound. Tickets will go on sale beginning Friday, February 7th via Ticketmaster.

Topshop is back! Shop these 12 must-have products before they sell out, ahead of the A/W show

We interrupt your Friday to alert you to the fact that Topshop is officially back! Cast your minds back to April, and you'll likely recall rumours of the brand's return were rife. Once the stalwart of the Great British high street, it has spent the past few years calling ASOS home. However, today, it's returning to the Internet with its own dedicated website, where you can shop the autumn/winter 2025 collection now! In our humble opinion, it has been well worth the wait. Along with a new digital destination, Topshop is marking its relaunch in a pretty iconic way – by partnering with none other than Cara Delevingne. While a full capsule collection is already in development for the 2026/27 season, the partnership launches with a curated 30-piece edit consisting of sharp tailoring, statement outerwear and reimagined denim essentials. Yes, our beloved Joni *and* Jamie jeans feature! Speaking of her involvement with Topshop's comeback, Cara said, 'As a London girl, Topshop was the place where fashion felt fun, fearless, and full of possibilities. Coming back to Topshop now is more than a return – it's about starting something new. This collection is about owning your style, your story, and feeling empowered to express that every day.' We predict a sell-out. So you better move quick if you want to get in on the Topshop x Cara edit! Ahead of the brand's AW25 runway show – held in London's Trafalgar Square tomorrow afternoon [Saturday 16 August] – find our pick of the must-have pieces to shop now.

7 Fashion Lessons We Can Learn From Princess Anne - From Embracing The Equestrian To Statement Sunglasses

The British royal family have long influenced how the nation dresses. From Queen Victoria's white wedding dress to Catherine, Princess of Wales' mid-length dresses and sleek suiting, what the members of the Windsor family choose to wear often trickles down into our own wardrobes to define eras and make lasting impacts. And while it's easy to consider members of the family like Diana, Princess of Wales and Princess Margaret style icons of their time, there are others whose style influence goes a little more under the radar. Consider Princess Anne, the Princess Royal. In recent years, the King's sister has become something of an unlikely style icon. The Olympian unintentionally captured the attention of hypebeasts thanks to her love of Oakley sunglasses, which, when paired with her smart-casual outfits for engagements, sits at that perfect push-and-pull contrast that fashion fans so often enjoy. Or, there's her unfussy approach to rewearing outfits. The Princess often pulls out outfits that have sat in her wardrobe since the 1970s. It's no wonder then that the internet often crowns her a 'sustainable queen.' While her influence isn't as plain to observe as the ability someone like Kate Middleton has to create an instant sell-out, the Princess Anne effect is a little more stealth and can be observed on the catwalk. For AW25, much of the pieces she relies on for her countless year-round public appearances found themselves refashioned for the new season and a new audience by brands ranging from Miu Miu to Burberry to Hermès. Here, as she turns 75 on August 15, ELLE explores the influence of Princess Anne on the AW25 runways with the 7 style takeaways to borrow now. Like her late mum before her, the Princess has long enjoyed wearing a skirt suit. While Queen Elizabeth was known for solid brights, Anne is more willing to choose those in coloured tweeds and prints. The Miu Miu AW25 collection had a series of the two-piece sets reminiscent of the Princess Royal's go-tos. Your decision to opt like Anne in heeled loafers or in lace-ups and sparkly socks like the catwalk. A tartan kilt is a royal wardrobe essential, especially when they're spending time at Balmoral Castle. Anne's dark plaid choice, worn here with contrast albeit matching accessories, is worth noting for its neat knee-length hem. It might have been her elder brother King Charles that Daniel Lee most recently collaborated with, but when it came to the AW25 runway collection, Anne's influence was plain to see from the kilt skirts to the brooches to the headscarves. When she's not in a tiara or a riding hat, the Princess can often be found wearing a silk scarf to keep her signature bouffant hairstyle in place. The exact same styling trick was used at Gucci, but this time the house's silk scarves were placed over sporty baseball caps for added athletic flair. Princess Anne has become an accidental eyewear influencer over the last few years as her preferred sports-style specs have become a hypebeast's favourite. For this season, however, it's her embracing of aviator styles that cut through. At Chloé, the aviator silhouette made a triumphant return. As Anne and the looks on the runway prove, you don't need to be a pilot to sport this style. The Princess often decorates her shoulder with a stealthy brooch. It adds not only a decorative touch but one that speaks of family heritage and access to the world's best jewellery collection. For so long, it was only members of the royal family who seemed to be the ones sporting brooches. This season, however, there's an encouragement for us all to pin one to our pieces. Copy the decree seen at Tory Burch and decorate your favourite black dress with a singular sparkle on the shoulder. With all eyes on a royal's face, and the jewellery that surrounds it, a contrast collar like this one worn by Anne is a natty styling choice. At Patou, a similar look was seen with the white collar breaking up the classic all-black combination. A keen equestrian who competed in the 1976 Olympic games, Princess Anne has a wardrobe of riding garb from knee-high boots to wax jackets. Tucked-in trousers are back for AW25 and it was, of course, Hermès who returned them to the catwalk this season in a subtle nod to not only Princess Anne, but the house's own long-standing equestrian tradition.
