When Will ‘The Chosen' Season 5 Be Streaming? How Long You'll Have To Wait

Jonathan Roumie stars as Jesus in "The Chosen" Season 4.
The first two episodes of The Chosen: The Last Supper, the fifth season of popular faith-based series, are now playing in theaters. If you'd rather skip the big screen—or want to rewatch the episodes at home—read on to find out when and where you can stream Season 5.
The next installment of The Chosen takes place during Holy Week before the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. Season 4 ended with Jesus raising Lazarus from the dead, a miracle that spurred the Sanhedrin and the High Priest to begin plotting to hand Him over to the Romans for execution.
'The table is set. The people of Israel welcome Jesus as king while his disciples anticipate his crowning. But—instead of confronting Rome—he turns the tables on the Jewish religious festival,' the synopsis reads. 'Their power threatened, the country's religious and political leaders will go to any length to ensure this Passover meal is Jesus' last.'
When I spoke with Jonathan Roumie, who plays Jesus, he shared that he's especially excited for fans to see the powerful scene where Jesus enters the temple marketplace and flips over the tables of the buyers, sellers, and money changers. 'The marketplaces are just completely upended,' he told me on set last July. 'It will be a wonderfully chaotic scene, and I can't wait for people to see it."
In addition to Roumie, the full Season 4 cast is returning for Season 5, including Shahar Isaac as Simon Peter, Elizabeth Tabish as Mary Magdalene, Paras Patel as Matthew, Noah James as Andrew, George H. Xanthis as John, Abe Bueno-Jallad as Big James, and more.
Part One of The Chosen: The Last Supper, which includes the first two episodes, is now playing in theaters. Part Two—Episodes 3, 4, and 5—will premiere a week later on April 4, 2025, followed by Part Three with the final three episodes on April 11. All episodes will remain in theaters through April 20, 2025.
But when will you be able to watch The Chosen Season 5 at home? Here's what to know so far.
"The Chosen: The Last Supper" is now in theaters.
The fifth season of The Chosen, titled The Chosen: The Last Supper, will stream exclusively on Amazon's Prime Video this June, which is about two months after its theatrical run. The exact streaming date hasn't been announced, so make sure to stay tuned for updates.
Prime Video will also become the exclusive U.S. streaming home for the first five seasons of The Chosen, as well as all future seasons. Internationally, the series will be available on Prime Video later this year on a non-exclusive basis in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Sub-Saharan Africa, the UK, and Latin America.
For donors who contributed to Season 5, creator Dallas Jenkins shared in a February 2025 livestream that they'll be able to watch the new season on Prime Video just like everyone else. He also noted that the Come and See Foundation will follow up with more details via email.
The Chosen's move to Prime Video follows a new deal between series producer 5&2 Studios and Amazon MGM Studios. Previously, the series was available on platforms like Netflix, Hulu, and Peacock, but according to Variety, those deals have all expired in recent months.
Jenkins launched 5&2 Studios in September 2025 following an arbitration ruling that ended the partnership between his company, The Chosen LLC, and former distributor Angel Studios. The decision granted Jenkins full control of The Chosen, and now he's partnering with Amazon MGM studios for a much larger deal.
'For several years, the team at Amazon MGM Studios has proved over and over they're passionate about this show and our fans,' Jenkins told the site. 'They're going to make us better and get the show to more people, and I can't wait to build this relationship.'
The first two episodes of The Chosen: The Last Supper are now in theaters. Check out the official trailer for Season 5, below.

This LEGO Podrace Set is the perfect Father's Day gift for your Star Wars-obsessed dad

New York Post may be compensated and/or receive an affiliate commission if you click or buy through our links. Featured pricing is subject to change. The best way to spend Father's Day is to sit down with your dad and chat. That's best done, in our experience, over some sort of activity. Sometimes that's as simple as dinner. Maybe you mix it up and go fishing or golfing. Or, if you've got more of an indoor dad, you can hunker down together over a 'Star Wars' themed LEGO set, like the LEGO Star Wars: The Phantom Menace Mos ESPA Podrace Diorama, available for a whopping 44% off this week on Amazon. Post Wanted and Decider's very own Angela Tricario is a self-professed LEGO fanatic, and a 'Star Wars' fan, to boot. She's built the set in question, and had this to say about it: 'One of the favorite things my dad and I do together is build LEGOs, and though we didn't build this specific set together, he thought it was really cool once I'd put it together!' 'Perfect for any Star Wars fan, but especially prequel defenders like myself, this diorama style set combines building scenery with slightly more complex podracing vehicles for something that's not too hard, but definitely a little more challenging. This one ranks among my favorites in my collection because it's a great display piece once it's built, too; you can gift it to dad, and then he can admire his handiwork by displaying it for everyone to see.' We're sold! Amazon The LEGO Star Wars: The Phantom Menace Mos Espa Podrace Diorama captures the thrilling high-speed action of Anakin Skywalker's iconic race. With detailed brick-built podracers and a sculpted Tatooine landscape, it offers dynamic motion and nostalgia. Ideal for collectors, it celebrates Episode I's 25th anniversary, combining display-worthy design with authentic Star Wars charm in a compact, stylish diorama. Best of all? It's available for 44% off ahead of Father's Day on Amazon. This article was written by P.J. McCormick, New York Post Commerce Deals Writer/Reporter.
