Jon Hamm's Apple TV+ Dramedy Is a Massive Hit. Here's How to Stream the Finale
Former hedge fund dude Coop (Jon Hamm) is about to face the music. After eight episodes of stealing, lying, and generally falling into all sorts of catastrophes, the comedy-drama of Your Friends & Neighbors is about to release its final episode.
Will Coop find his way out of the financial chaos he's caused for himself? Will he be convicted of murder? Will he be able to fix the messed-up relationship he has with his family? Will this final episode end on a note of sorrow, or one of accidental optimism? And most importantly: Who killed Paul?
Your Friends & Neighbors is one of the sleeper hits of the past few months, and according to various metrics, including FlixPatrol, the series is currently Apple's most-watched original series.
Here's what to know about the finale of Your Friends & Neighbors, including release date, streaming time, and what might happen with the plot. No major spoilers ahead.
The 9th and final episode of Your Friends & Neighbors Season 1 is called "Everything Becomes Symbol and Irony," and will hit Apple TV+ on Friday, May 30. The title of the episode seems to refer to a voiceover monologue that Hamm's character, Coop, had in the very first episode.New Apple TV+ originals tend to release new episodes on Fridays at 12:00 a.m. ET. This means that, yes, often, new episodes will hit at 9:00 p.m. PT. Between Thursday, May 29, and Friday morning, May 30, you'll be able to stream the Your Friends & Neighbors finale, "Everything Becomes Symbol and Irony."
Essentially, at this point, none of Coop's old rich-person friends are fully aware of all of his crimes, petty or otherwise. This means the finale will have to reveal to what extent Coop will be caught for all of his robberies. But, more importantly, it will have to reveal who killed Paul (Jordan Gelber), the ex-husband of Sam (Olivia Munn), who has had an on-again, off-again romance with Coop throughout the show.
The show is already renewed for Season 2, so it's very possible that not every single mystery will be answered, and that even if we do discover the identity of Paul's killer, it may just set us all up for even more questions.Jon Hamm's Apple TV+ Dramedy Is a Massive Hit. Flames Prospect Morin's Memorial Cup Campaign Ends In Defeat To Knights In Sem-Final
Flames Prospect Morin's Memorial Cup Campaign Ends In Defeat To Knights In Sem-Final Calgary prospect Etienne Morin and the Moncton Wildcats' push for the Memorial Cup came to an end as they lost 5-2 to the OHL champions London Knights in the semi-final on Friday evening. Morin made many efforts in the man-advantage for the QMJHL champions. Advertisement In the first power play, the 20-year-old set up teammates Vincent Collard and Caleb Desnoyers but they couldn't finish. He even put up a shot that rang the crossbar. In the second man-advantage, Morin and the Wildcats finally struck oil, feeding the puck to Desnoyers who sniped the puck into the goal from the left faceoff circle, allowing Morin to register his first assist and third point of the tournament. The score got tied 1-1 This was Moncton's first successful power play after the previous four in the tournament did not yield a goal. Morin was called back into action for the Wildcats' third power play. He put up two blocked shots, but Moncton levelled the game 2-2 as soon as his shift ended on the man-advantage. Advertisement The 2023 second-round pick was quarterbacking 5v5 situations as well, as close to the end of the second period, London's Jared Woolley broke his stick in the offensive zone and wound up having to take Landon Sim's stick, leaving the Knights pseudo-shorthanded. Morin put up a shot that got blocked by Sim and fed another pass to Desnoyers which did not find the back of the net. Unfortunately, in the fourth of the third period, Morin would be unable to contain London's Blake Montgomery from scoring the game-winning goal. The Quebec native never recovered after that. The London Knights will now face another Flames prospect in Andrew Basha and the WHL champions Medicine Hat Tigers in the Memorial Cup Final on Sunday Puck drop is at 7 pm ET/4 pm ET.
