Glee Reunion: Chris Colfer and Darren Criss Bring #Klaine to the Tonys, 10 Years After Series Finale

Yahooa day ago

The 2025 Tony Awards was a big night for a lot of people — but mostly for the cast of Glee.
Where do we even begin? Perhaps with Jonathan Groff (aka Jesse St. James) getting everyone on their feet with a performance from the Bobby Darin musical Just in Time? Or maybe Lea Michele (Rachel Berry) presenting an award while celebrating her own impending return to Broadway in the revival of Chess? Or how about Darren Criss (Blaine Anderson) taking home his first-ever Tony Award for his role in this year's Best Musical winner Maybe Happy Ending?

These were all very exciting moments, sure, but we're actually here to highlight an off-camera incident that will make you feel like you're living a teenage dream: Chris Colfer (Kurt Hummell) posted a picture on Monday from a Tonys afterparty where he celebrated Criss' big win alongside his former TV hubby, giving Gleeks one more sweet hit of #Klaine.

Several of Colfer and Criss' former co-stars chimed in to celebrate the reunion, as well as Criss' win. Heather Morris (Brittany S. Pierce) and Amber Riley (Mercedes Jones) were among those who dropped supportive emojis under the photo.
Coincidentally, the 2015 series finale of Glee also took place at the Tonys, with Rachel's now-husband Jesse cheering her on from the audience as she took home her first statue. And did we mention that Rachel also became a surrogate for Kurt and Blaine? That finale really did give us everything.
Did seeing Colfer and Criss together again give you — as we used to say back when Glee was airing — all the feels? Drop a comment with your thoughts below.

Elon Musk Says He 'Regrets' Some Of His Posts About Donald Trump: 'They Went Too Far'

Elon Musk says he 'regrets' some of his posts last week during his feud with POTUS Donald Trump. Musk took to Twitter/X this morning to offer contrition, saying his posts 'went too far.' He did not specify which posts crossed a line, but he appears to have deleted his most nuclear pronouncement about Trump appearing in the Jeffrey Epstein files. The White House rubbished the unevidenced claim. Trump last week declared that their relationship was over, and that he had no interest in mending ties with Musk. Musk urged Americans to call their representatives in Washington to 'kill the bill.' In response, Trump said Musk had 'lost his mind' and threatened to cancel his government contracts, which have an estimated value of $38B (£28B). Musk appeared to have deleted many of his posts over the weekend, including one that called for Trump's impeachment. Musk was the largest donor for Trump's 2024 presidential campaign. The possibility of a potential thawing in relations appeared to be welcomed by investors. Tesla's share price rose by 2.6% in pre-market trading. Ananda Lewis, TV Host and Former MTV VJ, Dead at 52

TV personality Ananda Lewis, best known for her years as an MTV video jockey, has died after a battle with breast cancer. She was 52. Lewis' sister Lakshmi revealed the news on Facebook Wednesday, writing alongside a photo of her sibling, 'She's free, and in His heavenly arms. Lord, rest her soul.' More from TVLine Harris Yulin, Frasier and 24 Actor, Dead at 87 Chris Robinson, of General Hospital and Bold and Beautiful, Dead at 86 Cheers Star George Wendt's Cause of Death Revealed Lewis first shared her breast cancer diagnosis in October 2020, when she revealed in an Instagram video that she had been 'fighting to get cancer out of my body for almost two years.' At the time, Lewis was battling Stage 3 breast cancer that had spread to her lymph nodes, and she expressed regret over not getting a mammogram sooner, due to fear of radiation exposure. Four years later, Lewis said her cancer had metastasized and advanced to Stage 4. In a conversation with CNN's Stephanie Elam and Sara Sidner last year, Lewis said she went against her doctors' advice to get a double mastectomy, instead choosing to treat the disease through alternative homeopathic methods. 'I decided to keep my tumor and try to work it out of my body a different way,' she said. 'Looking back on that, I go, 'You know what? Maybe I should have [gotten the mastectomy].'' After a three-season stint as host of BET's youth-centric talk show Teen Summit, Lewis broke out in the 1990s as a video jockey (or VJ) for MTV, where she introduced music videos and hosted series (including the interview-focused Hot Zone) until 2001. That same year, she landed her own syndicated talk show, The Ananda Lewis Show, but it was cancelled after just one season. Lewis' additional TV work included entertainment newsmagazine The Insider (where she served as a correspondent in the mid-2000s), Celebrity Mole: Yucatán (on which she competed in 2004) and TLC/HGTV's revival of home renovation series While You Were Out (which she hosted in 2019).
