A NIGHTCLUB boss claims to have invented a secret potion powerful enough to drive rodent infestations from homes — which she developed working at her spot the RATT club.
Mum of three Elizabeth Ferguson told how she blends seven every day ingredients in her kitchen and it is so effective it can drive entrenched colonies out in just days.

She tested it in a pal's loft after exterminators struggled for seven months to clear out the critters.
Elizabeth — who also owns a pub named Elixir — first started mixing concoctions four decades ago to help with her second pregnancy when doctors warned giving birth again could kill her.
She told The Scottish Sun: 'My friend had pest control in over and over again to try shift the rats in her house.
'They tried poison and traps and everything else but nothing was working.
'I had mixed up wee things for her in the past and in desperation she asked if I had anything that would work.
'I used different herbs to make up a spray.
'The rats were gone in days.
'Even the exterminator who signed the house off put it down to the blend.'
Elizabeth and husband Billy opened nightclub Room At The Top — known to revellers as RATT — nearly 30 years ago and has brought some of the biggest names in music to Bathgate, West Lothian.
A manager there pleaded for her help after trying to shift a severe rodent infestation by conventional means failed.
Shocking moment pack of huge RATS swarm popular McDonald's
The gran-of-five says she spent 'a few days' thinking it over before devising her secret recipe which features a handful of ingredients 'everybody will have heard of' in the form of cold-pressed herbs and essential oils.
She made batches for two friends after they struggled to shift rodent infestations.
Pal Natalie Dunsmore, 26, was given a 100ml bottle and told to spray her loft with the mixture and soak cotton wool with it before blocking up any entrance points.
And when exterminators returned last month they found the rats were gone.
Bosses signed off on a report confirming there had been 'no sign' of the animals since she used the potion.
Natalie, of nearby Harthill, said: 'It started with mice in the loft but they ended up attracting rats.
'Exterminators were coming every week and told us all they could really do was put down poison and traps.
'They couldn't shift them after seven months.
'I turned to Elizabeth out of desperation more than anything and it's been amazing.
'I spritzed the loft a couple of times and they've not been back since.'
Elizabeth defied doctors who advised her to get an abortion while pregnant with her second son over fears she would not survive his birth.
She studied herbalism and aromatherapy, developing a mixture she named Pass which she credits for saving her life — claiming it can aid focus and relaxation and has helped students pass exams, driving tests and succeed at job interviews.

Gary Lineker slams BBC for ‘losing their way' and ‘tying themselves up in knots' in first interview after MOTD axe
Lineker was ousted from his position on the football show following criticism when he shared a social media post about Zionism GARY HAS HIS SAY Gary Lineker slams BBC for 'losing their way' and 'tying themselves up in knots' in first interview after MOTD axe Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) GARY Lineker says the BBC has 'lost their way' when it comes to impartiality in his first interview since he left Match Of The Day following an anti-semitism row. And in a talk at Glastonbury festival, he revealed that the Corporation had announced his exit before even making him aware of their decision. Sign up for Scottish Sun newsletter Sign up Lineker was ousted from his position on the football show following criticism when he shared a social media post about Zionism, for which he later apologised. Gary, 64, said: 'The impartiality issue has become a massive problem that I think they've probably created themselves by the rules that have been set within the business. 'I understand in your news and current affairs they have to be generally impartial but, I mean, it is hot today right? I think we can all say that we don't need someone to come in to tell us it's actually not hot. 'We just need to know the truth. 'I think they've lost their way a little bit with that and there's a degree of impartiality at the very top of the BBC. 'There are thousands of amazing people at the BBC but it's not reflected at the top. 'They've tried themselves up in knots with it.' Gary had intended to leave the flagship show after this summer's World Cup but instead hosted his last Match of the Day on June 26. Admitting his upset at his ill-judged post, which Gary says 'gave people ammunition to shoot me,' he added: 'I had a little group chat back then, particularly with Ian Wright and Alan Shearer. 'I said, I've got a feeling they're going to take me off air on Saturday and Ian Wright immediately said 'if they do that I'm going to go'. Gary Lineker apologises for antisemitic post and confirms he's quitting BBC next week 'So the next day they announced I wasn't doing the show. 'They actually announced it without telling me first. 'I just thought what's the point of having a big platform if you don't use it to kind of push beliefs that you believe to be right.' But he later shared: 'I love the BBC. I always will and I'm not bitter or twisted about anything that happened.' He also showed his support for political hip hop trio Kneecap and said at the end of his talk at Glastonbury: 'Free Palestine.'

Boris Becker expecting fifth child with fourth mother as tennis ace announces ‘little miracle on the way'
The tennis ace made the announcement on social media DADDY'S BECK Boris Becker expecting fifth child with fourth mother as tennis ace announces 'little miracle on the way' Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) TENNIS legend Boris Becker has revealed he is set to welcome his fifth child in a touching social media post. Becker, 57, confirmed his wife Lilian is pregnant in an Instagram video where she is proudly cradling her baby bump. In the video Lilian can be seen holding her belly while the gospel choir song 'Total Praise' plays in the background. It also included one clip of herself in a bathroom mirror showing off her baby bump. Accompanying the video were various photos taken by a professional photographer. Becker married his 35-year-old partner last September in Portofino, Italy and the pair now reside permanently in Milan. The former tennis ace and the risk analyst have been dating since 2019. They're now set to welcome their first child together. Becker waxed lyrical about his wife in a recent interview with Stern Magazine where he said: "This is perhaps the first partnership on equal terms for me. "No one is more important than the other, I need Lilian, and I hope she needs me too. "We met at a time when I was feeling very bad. "Professionally, personally, physically, I was feeling worse than ever before in my life but despite this, Lilian was interested in me. "That's remarkable, because she could only be interested in me as a person because I had nothing else to offer - I had never met a woman like that before." The announcement comes three years after his release from prison after being jailed in 2022 at Southwark Crown Court, serving eight months. The tennis icon had failed to disclose assets and loads to his creditors after declaring bankruptcy. Becker already has four children by three different women. He married Barbara Feltus in 1993 and the couple had a son, Noah, born in 1994 and a daughter, Elias, born in 1999. The pair separated in December 2000. The following year Becker confirmed he was the father of Anna, the daughter of Angela Ermakova, a Russian model, following a High Court battle. Fast forward seven years and Becker announced he was engaged to Dutch model Sharley "Lily" Kerssenberg and they married in 2009. The couple had a son, Amadeus in 2010 and then split in May 2018. 6 Becker married his first wife, Barbara Feltus in 1993 and the pair had a son, Noah, and daughter, Elias Credit: Getty 6 He then married Sharley "Lily" Kerssenberg in 2009 Credit: Getty
