WITH JLS's UK arena tour kicking off on November 6, there was no better warm-up than in front of 80,000 people at Capital's Summertime Ball.
Aston Merrygold, Oritse Williams, Marvin Humes and JB Gill were the Barclaycard Out Of The Blue surprise act at Wembley Stadium, with fans sprinting back to their seats to watch the set which included hits such as Beat Again and She Makes Me Wanna.

'It blasted off the cobwebs,' JB told me backstage as I joined the lads afterwards.
Marvin added: 'People have always known that we bring high-energy shows. We don't want that to slow down. When people buy a ticket to our JLS tour, they know they're going to get 150 per cent from the four of us.
'The energy was incredible, and that will be the same and more when we're on tour in November.'
They begin their 16-date The Club Is Alive: 2025 Hits Tour in Glasgow in less than five months.
During the trek, JLS will become part of the 21 club at London's O2 Arena on November 28 and 29.
It means they will join acts including Prince, Kylie Minogue and Drake who have notched up 21 performances at the venue.
'For me it's a blessing,' Oritse said. 'My birthday is the day before so this is the best gift ever.'
JB added: 'It's beyond my wildest dreams. We never thought we would be in this position.
'We don't even know how it happened. We did the X Factor tour and now we're here.'
For the series of gigs, the band are handing over control to their fans, with special guest Example performing before them every night.

Oritse said: 'There are loads of unheard songs but there is music from our albums which we haven't performed.'
Marvin continued: 'We always say, 'Never say never to new music,' but at the minute, we're focused on the tour.
'We are asking the fans to tell us what they want us to perform on tour. They will choose the set list.'
As I said goodbye on Sunday, I jokingly asked the lads where they got ready for the Summertime Ball, after Mariah Carey took up nearly every backstage room.
And it seems she is a JLS fan, with JB telling me: 'We've worked with Mariah before.
'She's like, 'The JLS boys, they're all right'.
'It was us and Will Smith. and We got dressing rooms next door to her.'

Saturdays night fever
THE stars were out in force at Wembley, with Frankie Bridge, Billie Piper and Sarah Hadland spotted enjoying the hospitality inside Barclaycard's Summertime Suite.
But while Billie and her kids made the most of the buckets of free popcorn and pick 'n' mix, Saturdays singer Frankie was up on her feet dancing with pals.

And when JLS came on stage, Frankie was the first in the VIP area to get up to show support for Marvin Humes, who is married to her old bandmate Rochelle.
An onlooker told me: 'Frankie danced non-stop during JLS' set and had her own little dance routine for Beat Again.'
In Global's VIP area, ex-footballer Peter Crouch, joined by wife Abbey Clancy, gave Frankie a run for her money with his moves.
'Crouchy was doing more than the robot,' one of my pals told me.
'He was really giving it some welly.'
I expect Pete to bring the same moves to Worthy Farm next week when we all head down to Glastonbury.
That man loves to party.
Rita is balling
THE warm weather at the Summertime Ball was made for Rita Ora – who sang her new single Heat live in the UK for the first time.
She joked backstage: 'Heat is very convenient because it's boiling hot out there. I've seen sweaty people and that's exactly what I want to see.'

Rita was joined on the line-up by Will Smith.
After her performance, she said that he had become a mentor in her acting career.
She added: 'I think me and Will are on a spiritual journey because we are everywhere at the same time.
'I'm actually just so inspired by him in the sense of filmmaking and movies. That's a big part of my growth.
'I ask him a lot of questions about that.'
Bootlegs need new Macca
IF you're a big fan of The Beatles and look and sound like Sir Paul McCartney, I might just have the job for you.
The Bootleg Beatles the UK's No1 tribute band to the Fab Four, have announced they are looking for a new frontman.

In an ad posted online, the group revealed they need a new Macca, adding: 'Must have the look, the voice, the bass guitar skills and availability for full-time touring.'
It's a race against time for the group to find their new main man too, as the Bootleg Beatles are heading to Glastonbury the weekend after next.
They will play the Acoustic Stage on Sunday from 8pm for an hour – and will be using a stand-in if they are unable to find their Paul.
I've no doubt they'll be looking Here, There And Everywhere for the replacement.
Don't Let Me Down, lads.

In an emotional post on Instagram yesterday, Justin said: 'People keep telling me to heal. Don't you think if I could have fixed myself I would have already?
'I know I'm broken. I know I have anger issues.
'I tried to do the work my whole life to be like the people who told me I needed to be fixed like them. And it just keeps making me more tired and more angry.
'The harder I try to grow, the more focused on myself I am.
'Jesus is the only person who keeps me wanting to make my life about others because honestly, I'm exhausted with thinking about myself lately, aren't you?'

The Psycho hitmaker was due to play a host of UK and Ireland dates in the UK and Ireland, kicking off in Birmingham on June 25 and wrapping that segment of the gigs in Dublin on July 3. A statement on his social media was written in white text on a black background and read: "I have decided to cancel the European leg of the JIM BOB TOUR. "It wasn't an easy decision but one I had to make for my band, crew and my family. Advertisement "Please know that I love you all and that I will be back as soon as I can. "Refunds will automatically issued by your point of purchase." The Favorite Country Song hitmaker then ignored his tour woe to upload a slide revealing his "pride" in collaborating on new Lauren Alaina track Heaven Sent. The chart star is married to Caleigh Hardy and the pair welcomed daughter Rose Ryan in March. Advertisement Fans were quick to react to the sad news on X, with one who posted: "Can't even give a reason. What a melt. Fuming tbh." A second put: "Knew it was going to happen eventually. The Belfast show had to move to venue last week then this." Beyonce 'giving away' Cowboy Carter tour tickets in London after struggling to fill seats A third then quizzed: "Poor ticket sales???" The chart topper gave no further explanation for the tour axe. Advertisement COUNTRY STAR Hardy scooped the prestigious accolade of BMI Country Songwriter of the Year in 2022. Yet it was his 2023 album, The Mockingbird and The Crow, which got fans talking. He recently spoke of his favourite-ever gig to date and said: "My favourite one that comes to mind is Faster Horses in 2021. "It's a festival in Michigan, and we had a day slot — we went on at 5 p.m. But it was at a very momentous moment in my career. Advertisement "There was just a lot of hype, and we could feel it out in the crowd. And there was like 28,000 people there. My Live Nation rep was like, 'Dude, there's never been this many people here at this time of day. You should go out there and just pretty much f**k 'em up!'" He added to "It was the most insane crowd we had ever played for, and we just destroyed them. "We only had eight or 10 songs to play, because we only had like a 30- or 40-minute slot; but man, we just absolutely brought the house down — and the crowd was so, so good." It comes just days after we reported a US music festival had been scrapped for bad weather. Advertisement It was set to feature Hardy's fellow country music star Luke Combs and music producer Dom Dolla taking to the stage. Meanwhile, Aussie pop princess Kylie Minogue was forced to cancel four of her shows in Europe due to illness.

Beyoncé concludes her epic six-night concert run in London as she breaks her own huge record at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

Beyoncé concluded her epic six-night concert run in London on Monday night as she broke her own huge record at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The 43-year-old singer's groundbreaking series of concerts welcomed over 275,000 fans and grossed over £45million (over $61million USD), making it the most tickets and highest gross for any artist in the stadium's history. Beyoncé now holds the all-time record at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for the most concerts performed by any artist. Her Cowboy Carter Tour shows - held June 5, 7, 10, 12, 14, and 16 - surpassed the benchmark she previously set with five sold-out nights during her Renaissance World Tour in 2023. This broke her own all-time record for most performances by any artist at the venue. At the venue she also broke the record for the most ticket sales for any artist - with over 275,000 tickets sold. It is also the highest grossing concerts for any artist (over £45million) at Tottenham. The news comes after Beyoncé reportedly 'bowed down' to Mariah Carey and 'packed up her £25k-a-night London penthouse for the diva songstress to move in.' The If I Were A Boy hitmaker had booked a 12-night stay at the Corinthia while performing at London's Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. But she allegedly moved out at the weekend when self-confessed diva Mariah, 56, touched down to play at Capital's Summertime Ball on Sunday. A source told The Sun: 'Superstars as big as Beyonce and Mariah want to stay in only the best hotels. 'Beyonce had been staying in Corinthia's penthouses. 'But when Mariah flew in, Beyonce packed up so Mariah could take over her suites. It was like Beyonce was bowing down to another music queen.' Reps were contacted by MailOnline for comment. It came after Beyonce made a rare public statement about her elusive son Sir Carter while bringing her show to Tottenham on Thursday. In fan footage uploaded on X, the pop diva wished little Sir and his fraternal twin sister Rumi Carter a happy eighth birthday while onstage. 'Everybody say happy birthday, Rumi!' Beyoncé commanded her devoted Beyhive. At that, Knowles-Carter's 13-year-old daughter Blue Ivy Carter affectionately touched her little sister on the chin during the three-hour concert featuring over 35 songs. 'Say happy birthday, Sir!' the 35-time Grammy winner added as Rumi embraced her. 'Mommy loves you.' Blue Ivy serves back-up dancer duties on tour while Rumi has been making an appearance onstage each night of Beyoncé's tour beginning at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, CA on April 28. Last year, Rumi made her musical debut on the track Protector off Knowles-Carter's eighth studio album where she's heard asking: 'Mom, can I hear the lullaby please?' Queen Bey and her husband of 17 years - Jay-Z (born Shawn Carter) - rarely discuss their only son. 'Rumi is amazing - an amazing artist, painter and creator,' proud grandmother Tina Knowles gushed to E! News last year. 'How could they be anything else growing up in that environment? All we talk about is creativity and fashion. Sir is very quiet. [He] does all of the numbers stuff, so he's not into fashion as much.'
