Cheryl's ex Jean Bernard Fernandez-Versini now as he shares strange photo of her

Cheryl's ex-husband, Jean Bernard Fernandez-Versini, shared a bizarre photo of the Crazy Stupid Love star on Instagram on the weekend nine years after they split Former pop princess Cheryl and Jean Bernard Fernandez-Versini had only been dating for three months before the French restauranteur popped the question. After her doomed first marriage to Ashley Cole ended in divorce, Cheryl met Jean Bernard - who she affectionately called JB - in Cannes when she was working as a brand ambassador for L'Oreal and he was running a pop-up club. The pair got hitched in an intimate ceremony in Mustique before a second lavish bash in London in 2014. However, their whirlwind romance wasn't to last and ended in another divorce for Chezza in 2016. JB, 44, has kept a relatively low profile since the split, but sent fans of the former couple into a frenzy at the weekend when he posted a throwback snap of the pair together in which Cheryl, 41, sports a lemon yellow frock and black leather over-the-knee peep-toe boots. Tagging the snap: "Where is this jacket?" in reference to his striking midnight blue bomber, JB confused his followers with his photo - posted almost a decade after the divorce. But where is the flamboyant Frenchman now and why, exactly, did he call it quits with his Fight For This Love star, wife? ‌ ‌ Why did Cheryl split with Jean Bernard Fernadez-Versini? Just 18 months after their marriage, Cheryl and JB split were granted a divorce in October 2016 during a hearing that lasted 14 seconds. Neither Cheryl or Jean-Bernard attended. A statement issued by the singer's representative said: ' Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini have today obtained Decree Nisi in their divorce proceedings. No further comment will be made and they ask for their privacy to be respected.' It was confirmed at the time that Cheryl would keep her 322million net worth and that Jean-Bernard had signed a non-disclosure agreement and therefore he won't be able to speak publicly about their marriage. 'Unreasonable behaviour' However, Cheryl cited 'unreasonable behaviour' for the split and claimed in her divorce papers that JB's actions actions had caused her stress and weight loss. Hitting back at one social media user who labelled her 'a bag of bones' shortly before the divorce, the former X Factor judge appeared to blame her weight loss on the death of her father-in-law. ‌ Writing on Instagram at the time, she said: "You have no idea what I have been through. Just loosing (sic) my father in law v recently and everything that comes with that. Not that I am or should justify myself to anyone.' "But I am so sick of people thinking it's OK to be mean or body shame anyone. And it's always woman on woman. Have some respect and maybe think there may be reasons why before opening your mouth please." ‌ JB's 'jealousy' JB was also reportedly consumed by jealousy and 'hated' Cheryl speaking to other men. According to The Sun On Sunday Cheryl has "had enough of JB's jealousy. "He didn't like it when she spent time with other men and even became jealous when she was hanging out with her dogs." ‌ But JB appeared to poke fun at these claims as he posted a picture of a pooch on Instagram. He captioned the snap of the dog with "Really!!" and a number of crying laughing face emojis. Can't speak French At the beginning of their relationship Cheryl maintained she was learning French to be able to speak to her husband in his native tongue. Her progress is thought to have slowed down due to work commitments but she has said she understands a lot more of the language than she can speak. ‌ However, Cheryl's cousin Tony Tweedy fuelled split allegations, claiming the singer and her husband had been struggling with the language barrier, as she speaks little French and he knows only a small amount of English. He told outlet: "Cheryl can't speak French. I'm told he speaks little English. What sort of relationship is it if she cannot speak French and he can't speak English? They may as well have a threesome with the interpreter." Meanwhile, another insider claimed Cheryl realised she had "married too soon" as they added: "Over time it became clear to each of them that they were very different people and from very different worlds." ‌ Where is JB now? Since their marriage has ended, JB has stayed out of the public eye, but does regularly post on social media. He currently has a podcast called Humans Of Finance Podcast, which is said to 'explore the captivating stories and insights of the brilliant minds that shape the world of Real Estate Finance in the UK and Europe'. ‌ He also shares pictures from his many holidays throughout the year. Last summer, he enjoyed all Cannes, Monaco, St. Tropez, Tuscany and Mykonos had to offer. Most recently, JB has been sunning himself in Dubai from where he shared a slew of snaps of himself wining and dining and posing in his swimming trunks.

Cheryl's ex-husband shares rare photo of her almost a decade on from bitter split

Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini, who was married to Cheryl for two years, took to social media to share a photo of them together almost a decade after they split. Nearly a decade after their split, Cheryl 's former spouse Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini has shared an intriguing photograph of the pair. The French restaurant owner, 44, was wed to the Girls Aloud star, 41, for a span from 2014 until 2016. Despite parting ways nine years ago, Jean-Bernard, nicknamed JB by Cheryl, took to his Instagram stories to post an old picture with his ex-partner. In the image, a smartly-dressed JB dons dark trousers and a navy bomber jacket while holding hands with a beaming Cheryl, who is clad in a zesty lemon yellow frock paired with black peep-toe shoe boots. ‌ However, it seems he may be longing for his lost clothing rather than his former flame, cheekily inquiring of his 46,000 followers: "Where is this jacket?". ‌ Remarkably, the French entrepreneur did not initially recognise Cheryl upon their encounter at the Cannes Film Festival in 2014. Following an intense three-month courtship, they secretly wed on Mustique, a Caribbean isle, in July that same year. The intimacy of the affair was such that only four people were present, which included Cheryl's cherished mother Joan and Lily England, her aide and confidante, reports the Mirror. At the time, Cheryl announced on Twitter: "I usually do not discuss my personal life but to stop the speculation I want to share my happy news... Jean-Bernard and I married on 7/7/14." The singer also expressed: "We are very happy and excited to move forward with our lives together." But just one year on, whispers began to spread that Cheryl and JB were experiencing turbulent times after JB was noticeably absent from The X Factor recordings, with Cheryl at the judges' table during that period. In October 2015, Cheryl and JB stepped out together for what would be one of their last public appearances at Ant and Dec's 40th birthday celebrations, following several weeks without any sightings. There were reports that JB had vacated the London property he shared with Cheryl, opting to spend more time in the US. ‌ Come January 2016, it emerged that the couple were heading for a divorce, with Cheryl pointing to "irreconcilable differences" as the grounds for their split. Cheryl later found happiness with former One Direction heartthrob Liam Payne, with whom she shares her eight-year-old son Bear. In 2018, she revealed that out of all her partners, only Liam had remained faithful to her; however, the pair parted ways the same year. ‌ The music world mourned in October last year when Liam tragically passed away at age 31 after an accident from a hotel balcony in Argentina. Prior to her relationship with JB, Cheryl was married to footballer Ashley Cole from 2006 until their divorce in 2010, where "unreasonable behaviour" was documented as her cause for action. Now 44, Ashley confessed to being unfaithful multiple times during their marriage. However, it was a particular remark concerning infidelity that provoked JB's response in November 2018, denying allegations of unfaithfulness towards the songstress. A confidant of JB countered the claims to the press by maintaining he's "never cheated" and regards his marriage as "sacred to me". The mate voiced back then that JB was tired of being held accountable for Cheryl's troubles, insinuating she "needs to blame somebody". The Sun carried a caution from JB directed at Cheryl: "If we all start telling the truth then she will have a problem."

Cheryl's ex-husband shares bizarre photo of her nine years after split

Why has Cheryl's ex-husband Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini shared a photo with his former wife almost a decade on from their split? Cheryl's ex-husband Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini has shared a bizarre photo of them together almost a decade after their split. The French restauranteur, 44, was married to the 41-year-old Girls Aloud singer for two years from 2014 to 2016. Though they split nine years ago, Jean-Bernard - who Cheryl used to affectionately call JB - took to his Instagram stories to share a photo with his former wife. In the snap, a dapper-looking JB is wearing dark jeans and a navy bomber jacket as he holds hands with a smiling Cheryl, who is dressed in a lemon yellow dress and black open-toe shoe boots. ‌ But it turns out it might be his outfit he's missing, rather than his ex-wife, as JB asked his 46,000 followers: "Where is this jacket?" ‌ The Frenchman apparently had no idea who Cheryl was when they met at the Cannes Film Festival back in 2014. After a whirlwind three-month romance, they went on to tie the knot in a secret ceremony in July that year on the Caribbean island of Mustique. It was so secret that the wedding was reportedly attended by just four guests, including Cheryl's beloved mum Joan and her personal assistant and close friend, Lily England. At the time Cheryl posted on X, formerly known as Twitter: "I usually do not discuss my personal life but to stop the speculation I want to share my happy news... Jean-Bernard and I married on 7/7/14." The Fight For This Love singer added: "We are very happy and excited to move forward with our lives together." But just a year later rumours began circulating the couple were going through a rocky patch after JB failed to attend the filming for The X Factor, which Cheryl was a judge on back then. In October 2015, Cheryl and JB made a rare - and one of their final - appearances together for Ant and Dec's 40th birthday bash, after having not been seen together for several weeks. It was reported JB had moved out of the London home he shared with Cheryl and was now spending most of his time in America. ‌ Then in January 2016, it was announced that the pair were set to divorce - with Cheryl citing "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the split. She later went on to find love with the late One Direction star Liam Payne, who she shares eight-year-old son Bear with. In 2018 Cheryl said that Liam - who she split from that year - was the only partner that has ever been faithful to her. Liam tragically died at the age of 31 in October last year after falling from a hotel balcony in Argentina. Before JB, Cheryl was married to footballer Ashley Cole from 2006 to 2010. In the divorce papers Cheryl cites Ashley's "unreasonable behaviour" as the reason for their divorce. The now 44-year-old admitted being unfaithful to Cheryl with a number of other women throughout their four-year marriage. But it was this comment about infidelity that riled JB and prompted him to speak out in November 2018 refuting any claim that he had cheated on the pop singer. A friend of JB's was reported as saying that he's "never cheated" and has kept their marriage "sacred to me". The pal said at the time that JB had had enough of being blamed for the woes in Cheryl's life, but claimed she "needs to blame somebody". The Sun reported JB as issuing this warning to Cheryl: "If we all start telling the truth then she will have a problem."
