Cheryl's ex Jean Bernard Fernandez-Versini now as he shares strange photo of her

Daily Mirror6 days ago

Cheryl's ex-husband, Jean Bernard Fernandez-Versini, shared a bizarre photo of the Crazy Stupid Love star on Instagram on the weekend nine years after they split
Former pop princess Cheryl and Jean Bernard Fernandez-Versini had only been dating for three months before the French restauranteur popped the question. After her doomed first marriage to Ashley Cole ended in divorce, Cheryl met Jean Bernard - who she affectionately called JB - in Cannes when she was working as a brand ambassador for L'Oreal and he was running a pop-up club.
The pair got hitched in an intimate ceremony in Mustique before a second lavish bash in London in 2014. However, their whirlwind romance wasn't to last and ended in another divorce for Chezza in 2016. JB, 44, has kept a relatively low profile since the split, but sent fans of the former couple into a frenzy at the weekend when he posted a throwback snap of the pair together in which Cheryl, 41, sports a lemon yellow frock and black leather over-the-knee peep-toe boots. Tagging the snap: "Where is this jacket?" in reference to his striking midnight blue bomber, JB confused his followers with his photo - posted almost a decade after the divorce. But where is the flamboyant Frenchman now and why, exactly, did he call it quits with his Fight For This Love star, wife?

Why did Cheryl split with Jean Bernard Fernadez-Versini?
Just 18 months after their marriage, Cheryl and JB split were granted a divorce in October 2016 during a hearing that lasted 14 seconds. Neither Cheryl or Jean-Bernard attended.
A statement issued by the singer's representative said: ' Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini have today obtained Decree Nisi in their divorce proceedings. No further comment will be made and they ask for their privacy to be respected.'
It was confirmed at the time that Cheryl would keep her 322million net worth and that Jean-Bernard had signed a non-disclosure agreement and therefore he won't be able to speak publicly about their marriage.
'Unreasonable behaviour'
However, Cheryl cited 'unreasonable behaviour' for the split and claimed in her divorce papers that JB's actions actions had caused her stress and weight loss.
Hitting back at one social media user who labelled her 'a bag of bones' shortly before the divorce, the former X Factor judge appeared to blame her weight loss on the death of her father-in-law.

Writing on Instagram at the time, she said: "You have no idea what I have been through. Just loosing (sic) my father in law v recently and everything that comes with that. Not that I am or should justify myself to anyone.'
"But I am so sick of people thinking it's OK to be mean or body shame anyone. And it's always woman on woman. Have some respect and maybe think there may be reasons why before opening your mouth please."

JB's 'jealousy'
JB was also reportedly consumed by jealousy and 'hated' Cheryl speaking to other men. According to The Sun On Sunday Cheryl has "had enough of JB's jealousy.
"He didn't like it when she spent time with other men and even became jealous when she was hanging out with her dogs."

But JB appeared to poke fun at these claims as he posted a picture of a pooch on Instagram. He captioned the snap of the dog with "Really!!" and a number of crying laughing face emojis.
Can't speak French
At the beginning of their relationship Cheryl maintained she was learning French to be able to speak to her husband in his native tongue. Her progress is thought to have slowed down due to work commitments but she has said she understands a lot more of the language than she can speak.

However, Cheryl's cousin Tony Tweedy fuelled split allegations, claiming the singer and her husband had been struggling with the language barrier, as she speaks little French and he knows only a small amount of English.
He told outlet: "Cheryl can't speak French. I'm told he speaks little English. What sort of relationship is it if she cannot speak French and he can't speak English? They may as well have a threesome with the interpreter."
Meanwhile, another insider claimed Cheryl realised she had "married too soon" as they added: "Over time it became clear to each of them that they were very different people and from very different worlds."

Where is JB now?
Since their marriage has ended, JB has stayed out of the public eye, but does regularly post on social media.
He currently has a podcast called Humans Of Finance Podcast, which is said to 'explore the captivating stories and insights of the brilliant minds that shape the world of Real Estate Finance in the UK and Europe'.

He also shares pictures from his many holidays throughout the year. Last summer, he enjoyed all Cannes, Monaco, St. Tropez, Tuscany and Mykonos had to offer.
Most recently, JB has been sunning himself in Dubai from where he shared a slew of snaps of himself wining and dining and posing in his swimming trunks.

Tonight's rugby news as All Blacks star apologises for video after teenager's death and missing player found

Tonight's rugby news as All Blacks star apologises for video after teenager's death and missing player found The latest headlines from Wales and around the world Williams has apologised for a video he posted online These are your latest rugby headlines on the evening of Sunday, June 1 All Blacks star apologises for video after tragic death Former All Blacks star Sonny Bill Williams has issued an apology after he published a video on social media that appeared to show support for a viral rugby-based game which led to the death of a teenager in New Zealand. Ryan Satterthwaite, 19, died in hospital on Monday after suffering a "serious head injury" while playing a game of 'run it straight' with friends in the city of Palmerston North. ‌ The game - videos of which have recently gone viral on platforms like TikTok and Instagram - sees two players, one with a ball and the other the tackler, charge at each other at full speed with no protective gear, in order to try and knock each other down. ‌ Official tournaments have also been held, with one such event being held in Auckland earier this month, with participants competing for a prize of around $20,000. While the tragedy involving Satterthwaite made headlines around the world, Williams shared a clip on social media from a match he played for Canterbury in 2004, which saw him collide with Penrith star Joel Clinton. Captioning the video 'old school, what a hit', the 39-year-old added: "Playing run it straight before it was called run it straight". ‌ The post sparked backlash amid the tragic news, with Williams taking to social media again to apologise for his comments upon learning of the teenager's death. "I put a video up last night, and I just want to ask for forgiveness of the young fulla that passed away," he said. "Please excuse me for my insensitivity. I did not know that had happened. "I want to talk about it for a second right now. I've been asked to collab with the Run it Straight people, or a couple of people and I haven't, simply because I wouldn't put my kids in it. I have safety concerns and that's just my thoughts on it." ‌ However, Williams added that he believes the sport will continue to be played and called for changes to implemented to keep those involved as safe as possible. "I'd like weight classes and rules around head contact, but also age and experience classes as well," he continued. "It's gonna carry on, because people love it. It's entertainment. "But I'd like to see some heavily controlled safety restrictions come in. Once again to the family, my love and regards go out to you guys." ‌ Missing player found Rugby league player Brandon Moore has been found after going missing on Friday night, his wife has confirmed. The 28-year-old had been named in the Batley Bulldogs squad for their Championship match against Toulouse Olympique on Saturday but had not been seen since the night before. His wife Mara had posted an urgent appeal on Facebook to help find him, writing: "Please share. If anyone has seen Brandon Moore can you please message me? ‌ "I usually wouldn't ever post anything on here like this, but family and friends haven't seen or heard of him and hoping maybe someone's seen sightings of him and can message me? I have a 7 week old baby at home and 2 others so I can't go hunting myself other than a car ride.'" The post was shared over 2,700 times and the father-of-three has since been found, with Mara confirming that he is now "in safe hands". "Thank you to everyone that shared, we actually found him through the power of Facebook," she wrote as she confirmed the good news. "So thank you to everyone that's helped me!!" ‌ Lions star sweating on fitness Ireland flanker Josh van der Flier is a major doubt for Leinster's URC semi-final against Glasgow after being forced off with a hamstring issue against the Scarlets. Reports in Ireland suggest Leinster believe the injury is not serious, but the extent of it will not be known until Van der Flier undergoes a scan. Having recently been named in Andy Farrell's Lions squad to tour Australia, van der Flier faces a nervy wait. ‌ The back-row was forced off in the first-half of the 33-21 win over the Scarlets. Afterwards, Leinster head coach Leo Cullen took issue with Wales full-back Blair Murray's try on the stroke of half-time that brought the Scarlets within a point of the Irish province. "I think we're well on top for large parts of, particularly the first-half," said Cullen. 'It's a big moment before half-time, isn't it, because we are on their line. If you look at it, there are multiple Scarlets players that are offside, but we play and we don't execute, so there's stuff in our control. 'And then they go the length of the field, in a perfect world it gets refereed and you have a penalty there, and we're eight points clear at that stage, we'd go into half-time 11 points up. ‌ 'Instead it's one point and you're like 'Ughhhh'. But I thought the composure was good at half-time. Again, it paints a completely different complexion on the game. 'We've lost a knockout game where there's a penalty in front of the posts which (Henry) Pollock is off his feet which we should have had which we could have kicked to level the game. 'There should have been a penalty try at the end of that game which means we would have won that game which meant we would be talking about how we got on in the Champions Cup final. ‌ 'We're not at that stage, so knockout rugby, there are so many different variables, and we need to get all of our bits right and we'd hope that the referees get their bits right as well. 'But that's what it's like. It's tense, there's pressure there for both teams. And I thought we applied pressure for large periods of the game today. That's pleasing and a credit to the players. 'That try was such a big swing. It's a 92-metre turnaround and call it a 10-point swing in terms of the scoreboard. To come back from that, get back on top again and make sure we had a two-score lead for most of the remainder of the game was pleasing. Article continues below 'It's winning ugly sometimes, isn't it? You've got to do it, so I am pleased we won ugly."

Dani Dyer and Jarrod Bowen's wild wedding party as Danny led expletive chant

Danny Dyer left guests at Dani Dyer and Jarrod Bowen's wedding in fits of laughter as he led them in a very rude West Ham chant which the footballer often faces Danny Dyer reworded a West Ham chant to make sure he scored a winner with his speech as the father of the bride at the weekend. EastEnders star Danny walked his daughter Dani, 28, down the aisle so she could marry footballer Jarrod Bowen. White rose petals lined the aisle, with floral sculptures and candles creating a stunning backdrop which the bride and groom shared a kiss in front of. And after Dani, wearing a designer Suzanne Neville dress, and Jarrod said 'I do', cheeky Danny then couldn't resist bringing a bit of football into proceedings. With mic in hand on videos shared on social media, he can be heard urging the guests to sing "Bowen's On Fire - and he's married Dani Dyer ' to the tune of pop star Gala's hit Freed from Desire. ‌ They responded and also waved white napkins in the air. The usual lyrics are less family friendly - but also refer to Jarrod and Dani being an item. Despite a possible hangover today, Dani quickly changed her surname to Dyer-Bowen on Instagram, and is thrilled with how her big day went. ‌ Other photos also showed her holding a bag from the celebrations saying 'Wifey For Lifey' making it clear she thinks the commitment and marriage is very much for keeps. The couple have twin daughters, Summer and Star, both one. Dani also has son Santi, four, from a previous relationship. On her Instagram, Dani said, "The most perfect, special day," alongside a video of herself getting married. A purpose-built glass marquee had been erected in the Buckinghamshire countryside for the event, although the ceremony itself took place outside to make the most of the sunny weather. ‌ After the couple cut a giant white cake, a band could be seen in the background poised to begin, so everyone could get the party started with some dancing. Around 60 people are said to have attended the ceremony, which is in keeping with the down-to-earth couple who have a small circle of close friends as well as family to invite. ‌ Aside from dad Danny, other famous faces are thought to have included Jarrod's former West Ham teammate Declan Rice. Other celebrities lined up on social media to praise the newly married couple and send their congratulations. Podcaster Giovanna Fletcher, who recently had Dani on her show, said: "Whoooooooop!!! Huge congratulations!" Actor Vicky McClure said: "Huge congratulations!" ‌ Liverpool footballer Andy Robertson said: "Congrats mate." And former Love Island star Samira Mighty said: "Omgggggggg my beautiful babe." West Ham's Instagram also commented, saying: "Congratulations to you both." Dani later posted a video on social media of her whole day, which began with her drinking a glass of champagne for breakfast as she sang Hop Little Bunnies with her twins. After the ceremony she and Jarrod were showered in white confetti before both Jarrod and Dani's dad Danny gave speeches. Dani's bridesmaids wore pink whilst her team of stylists and make-up artists wore brightly coloured dresses on the day and also posed with her in her bridesmaids dress. The video of the day appeared to show Dani's having a first dance with both her dad Danny and Jarrod before other guests joined them on the dancefloor. After a late night partying with a live band, guests could help themselves to take away pizzas. The boxes were specially made for the day and said 'D&J that's amore' on them. ‌ As reported on Sunday, Dani Dyer has been in talks with the BBC and has now verbally agreed to take part in Strictly Come Dancing this year. It will be another thing to make 2025 a year to remember for her. In February, Dani spoke about how she first met her fiancé in 2021, because he was her neighbour and took in her parcels for her. "Jarrod was my neighbour", Dyer told the Happy Mum Happy Baby podcast as she recalled the unusual story of how they met. I've never really spoken about this. I moved into the house I was in with Santi and he was only a few months old. ‌ "It was a really small, cute little neighbourhood. I loved that house. People were like 'oh, Jarrod Bowen lives next door' but I didn't follow football at the time, just wasn't interested in football. "Then he knocked on my door a couple of times because my parcels went there. I remember the first time I opened the door... you know what it's like, slicked-back hair... and I opened the door and I didn't know it was Jarrod Bowen and he was hot. ‌ "Blue eyes, blonde hair, a bit of me. I was like 'ohh, thanks!' Then there were a few times I'd see him. I used to know when he was leaving for football because I'd hear his car go and he'd reverse out and I was like, oh I can go put the bins out. "There was once I knew I looked OK because I had a shoot that day and I remember walking back round and then I put the key in the door and he came out and I thought 'I know I look good today'. So then he said 'have you got a meter reading key?' once, a meter reading key for your gas or something. "But I did not think nothing of it and said 'no, no I don't' and then he was like 'oh I'm moving house' and I was like 'oh good luck with everything'." Dyer said after he moved out, Bowen messaged her on her birthday to say 'happy birthday' and following that 'they never stopped speaking'. ‌ Dad-of-three and West Ham fan Danny is thrilled his daughter Dani has ended up marrying the West Ham star, who sources say is generally a private person and family man and not a flashy footballer by modern standards. In the lead up to the wedding, Danny said: 'I have met every single boyfriend that has walked through my door - and then she brings home the West Ham captain. ‌ 'I have gone from the lying scum, and I hate them, to a man who I would not mind tonguing myself! A strong man. If he lent in I would put my lips on this geezer. 'He is just, as a father and joking aside, he took her on with a 14 month old son and that says a lot about a man I will tell you. He is amazing. I can't wait to give her away. What a touch. But if he was to make a move on me before… "I think I'm in love with him, slightly.' Jarrod joined West Ham in 2020 and has regularly been the best player on the pitch, including when he scored the winning goal to give West Ham their first trophy in 43 years during the 2023 Europa Conference League final, Danny added: 'Okay. He plays for West Ham. He's one of West Ham's hot ones. He's the captain of West Ham. And he's unbelievable, this guy. I mean, he comes in my house. I take his shoes off for him. 'And I give him the remote control. And I say, 'Mate, this is your house now'. But he's an incredible person. I just want someone to love my daughters the way I do. I want them to worship them and look after them. Let me tell you that. I love him.'

JoJo Siwa says Chris Hughes feels like family and her mother ‘adores' him

Former Dance Moms star JoJo Siwa has said TV host Chris Hughes feels like family, adding that her parents think the 'absolute world' of him. The two met in the ITV1 Celebrity Big Brother house, growing close during their time on the reality show, claiming their relationship was 'platonic'. Since leaving the house, they have been seen together and recently shared photographs of them together on Instagram, suggesting they are in a relationship. View this post on Instagram A post shared by JoJo Siwa (@itsjojosiwa) Siwa, 22, told Channel 4's Sunday Brunch: 'She (Siwa's mother) does love him. My parents think the absolute world of him and him and my dad are like best friends. 'Chris was actually telling me that yesterday they went to the spa together. They're literally best friends. 'Mum, she absolutely adores him. I love watching her watch us because I've never seen my mum so happy. 'It feels like we're a family. It feels like he's been in my family for however many years. It feels like they just all get along as well as I do. 'I think there will definitely be a lot more time spent here, and I think from him as well, a lot more time spent over there, but we both have families, you know, on either end.' The 22-year old singer is known for her songs Karma and Guilty Pleasure, which she released in 2024, while sports presenter Hughes, 32, appeared on the third season of the ITV reality TV series Love Island. Speaking about her decision to join Celebrity Big Brother, she said: 'I didn't even question a yes or no. I knew it wasn't even a question. It was an immediate yes. 'I think for me, growing up on reality TV, it almost feels like a little bit of home to me, and it just feels like it's just fun. 'And right before I went in, I told my mom, I was like, I think this is gonna be the best thing I've ever done. And she's like, what do you mean? And I was like, I don't know, something tells me, like for my personal, like for my life, it feels like it's gonna be the best thing I've ever done and by a landslide it has been. 'Being on Big Brother you're captured 24/7 so for people to just get to see the real me was something that I wasn't sure how to share, essentially on my own, I guess I wasn't brave enough to share it.' The Celebrity Big Brother final saw Coronation Street actor Jack P Shepherd crowned the winner.
