Scarlett Johansson and Husband Colin Jost Share Passionate Kiss at the End of 'SNL''s Milestone Season 50

Yahoo18-05-2025

Scarlett Johansson sealed the end of Saturday Night Live's milestone season 50 with a kiss — from husband Colin Jost!
At the very end of the May 17 episode — which the actress, 40, hosted with Bad Bunny serving as the musical guest — Johansson received a large bouquet of red roses and a passionate smooch from Jost, 42.
The kiss sent the audience at Studio 8H into a loud applause, as various SNL castmembers could be seen jokingly reacting in disgust in the background, including James Austin Johnson and Emil Wakim.
Jost previously suggested that he and Johansson should share a kiss during the finale episode in a Jurassic Park-themed promo that aired days prior.
"Hey, babe. I had a sketch idea I wanted to pitch you. Maybe it's one where we, I don't know, finally kiss?" Jost asked, as Johansson then screamed, "No!" Sarah Sherman was next seen, shooting the Weekend Update anchor in the neck with a dart.

Johansson and Jost started dating in 2017. They got engaged in May 2019 and then married in October 2020. They are parents to a 3-year-old son, Cosmo, and the actress is also a mom to daughter Rose Dorothy with ex-husband Romain Dauriac.
Elsewhere during the May 17 episode, Johansson got payback on Michael Che after the comedian made Jost read a joke about her on the show's winter finale last year — when the pair swapped jokes they had written for each other, but had not seen prior.
At the time, Jost said, 'Costco has removed their roast beef sandwich from their menu, but I ain't tripping, I be eating roast beef every night since my wife had the kid." Johansson then appeared shocked backstage, mouthing, 'Oh my God."

Johansson joined the pair during the most recent Weekend Update, where Che, 41, said to the mom of two, "Last time we did joke swaps, I made Colin do some tasteless jokes, comparing your vagina to Costco roast beef," then adding, per the joke written for him by Jost: "I was just lashing out because I'm jealous. I've never seen a human vagina. Notice I said human, because I once spent a summer on a farm."
Saturday Night Live will return later this year on NBC.

Jimmy Fallon Makes Shocking Admission About His Obsession With Getting On 'SNL'

Jimmy Fallon was set on getting 'Saturday Night Live' by the age of 25. The late night talk show host opened up about what he would do if he didn't land a part on the show by that time, during a candid interview with Steven Bartlett on 'The Diary of a CEO' podcast. 'I was going to kill myself,' the 'Fever Pitch' actor said. 'Were you actually?' Bartlett asked. 'Yeah,' Fallon answered. 'I wrote that in something ― in some journal or something. If I don't get on 'Saturday Night Live' by the age of 25, that I'll kill myself.' When Bartlett asked if Fallon was actually serious about what he'd written, he confirmed that he was. 'But again, I knew that I was going to be on 'Saturday Night Live,' so I guess I didn't really mean it,' the actor said, clarifying that his statement then 'wasn't really a threat.' 'I think I said, 'I will kill myself,'' he shared. 'But I definitely said ― you know ― yeah, 25 was my thing.' Fallon has revealed his intense drive to be on the show before, and said that his obsession with 'SNL' started at an early age. 'I wanted to be Dana Carvey,' Fallon told Carvey and David Spade on their 'SNL' podcast, 'Fly on the Wall,' back in 2022. 'That was my whole reason for getting on 'Saturday Night Live.'' 'I was such an 'SNL' nerd, I would record it every single Saturday night and I would be by myself,' he shared on the podcast. 'I didn't want friends over, I didn't want anyone around me, my parents ― I didn't want anyone near me. I just wanted to study the show.' Fallon ended up getting the show by his self-imposed deadline, and stayed on 'SNL' for six seasons, from 1998 to 2004.
