One Night vanished from Paramount+ - just three months after landing on the platform

One Night follows Jodie Whittaker alongside Yael Stone and Nicole da Silva as three friends bound by a dark secret that resurfaces years later, threatening to tear their lives apart.
The gritty drama promises twists, tension, and powerhouse performances from its all-star cast.
A month after Aussie drama One Night dropped in the UK last November, it vanished from Paramount+ without warning — just three months after landing on the platform.
At the time, bosses blamed a shift towards 'Hollywood-style' content with mass appeal, alongside cost-cutting moves.

ISLE SAY Maya Jama offered 8-figure sum by ITV to stay on Love Island amid Netflix interest
Now ITV has swooped in to bring the series back, giving fans the chance to watch — or discover it for the first time.
The full drama will stream from Saturday, August 16, with the first episode also airing on ITV1 that night.
One Night marked Jodie's first TV role since making history as Doctor Who's first female Time Lord.
The 41-year-old star said she was drawn to the project because it tackled a story about sexual assault in a way she found 'completely unique' — offering a fresh and powerful perspective on a difficult subject.
She told the Metro: "'What made this completely unique to me and completely engrossing was the change of POV.
"Very often it's told from outside in – there's an investigation, there's detectives, there's people working things out.
Jodie Whittaker speaks out on Doctor Who future
"This is about the decimation something like that can have.
"It's also about how the event – whether it happened a minute ago or 20 years ago – is defining for a group of women that it affects, particularly this friendship group.
"But also what it's about is how we all survive something like that and who owns memory, who has the right to tell stories, and especially if that story is true."
The Sun revealed in April how Doctor Who could be facing the axe - with lead Ncuti Gatwa poised to quit and crew claiming to be laid off.
Jodie - who played the Thirteenth Doctor - spoke out about the show's future.
During an interview with Off Air with Jane and Fi, Jodie was asked whether the programme could "come back bigger and brighter."
She replied: "Every time there's a Doctor Who, I think there's some comment.
"I don't necessarily read anything to do with it now, but I watch it and I'm a huge fan of Ncuti [Gatwa].
"There is nothing more loyal and more beautiful than the Whovian community."
Jodie added: "So I don't think necessarily its fandom's reducing any way.
"So on a grown up basis of statistics, I've no idea, I'm completely unqualified."
The Sun previously told how show bosses have postponed any decision until Ncuti's second season has aired later this year.
His first series, which began last May, attracted between 2.25million and 3.18million viewers.
The actor is already believed to have filmed his regeneration exit scene — and crew fear the BBC will shelve the show after 62 years.
Meanwhile, Jodie has also teamed up with Suranne Jones for a thrilling new heist drama called Frauds.
The two queens of the small screen star as duo Bert and Sam, whose intertwined past resurfaces in the setting of Southern Spain after a decade of separation.
Bert, played by Suranne, is fresh from a spell in a Spanish prison but hellbent on one final, multi-million-pound art heist so calls on old pal Sam (Whittaker).
The six-parter, which will air later this year on ITV, was filmed in Spain in January and also stars Karan Gill, Christian Cooke and Talisa Garcia.
One Night is streaming on ITVX from Saturday August 16 and will air that night at 9.30pm on ITV1.

Red Sonja review – pixie-ish Matilda Lutz steps into Brigitte Nielsen's battle corset for action remake

Ever since Brigitte Nielsen unlaced her battle corset after shooting ended on pulpy fantasy actioner Red Sonja back in the 1980s, there's been talk of sequels and/or reboots. Truffle around the internet and you'll find a saga to rival the finest in Old Norse about deals signed and projects greenlit and then abandoned over the years, with names attached to direct ranging from X-Men's Bryan Singer to Transparent's Joey Soloway. What a shame Soloway's version never got off the ground because that surely would have been a hoot, and probably more interesting than this soggy, CGI-infused, low-budget confection that's finally arrived. Little-known actor Matilda Lutz gets the lead role this time around, as well as getting all the hair extensions in the auburn aisle. She presents a Sonja that's more a pixie-like hippy chick than Nielsen's Valkyrie heroine, a bit of a loner who mostly kicks around the forest with her beloved horse. Sonja finds herself sucked, at first unenthusiastically, into camaraderie after she is captured by evil emperor Draygan (Robert Sheehan, clearly enjoying himself) and compelled to fight in gladiatorial combats. Sometimes her opponents are the other prisoners, and sometimes they are gargantuan amalgamations of pixels and VFX fairy dust, including a grumpy cyclops roughly the size of a tower block who is controlled by Draygan with what looks like a magic torch. Wallis Day plays another antagonist with bleached eyebrows and agonising visions of all the people she's ever killed, just to show that baddies have backstories too. Indeed, there's quite a lot of backstorying going on here, with lashings of flashbacks as we find out how Sonja came to be a lonely child of the forest, how other characters got roped into all this, and even what makes Draygan so mean. The action sequences, which are what made the original Sonja so indelible (especially since Nielsen had Arnold Schwarzenegger as a co-star), are a bit more rote. But someone somewhere must have done a punch-up on the script, because every now and then a reasonably witty quip arrives out of nowhere before the dialogue reverts to faux medieval speak. Red Sonja is on digital platforms from 18 August, and on DVD & Blu-ray from 8 September

Britney Spears suffers double nip-slip in peekaboo dress as fans rage over Kevin Federline's 'cash grab'

Britney Spears posted another one of her trademark scantily-clad dance videos on Tuesday - this time with a saucy twist. The 43-year-old was wearing a revealing gold minidress with a wide peekaboo section that flashed her amply endowed cleavage. Unfortunately the gap was so broad that Britney found herself repeatedly suffering nip slips, sometimes on both sides simultaneously. She was cheerfully undeterred by her wardrobe malfunctions, continuing to dance and grinning mischievously at the camera. However she made sure to use tiny sunflower emoji to ensure she refrained from violating the Instagram Community Guidelines involving nudity. The video comes after her fans slammed her ex-husband Kevin Federline over his announcement he is penning a tell-all about her called You Thought You Knew. Federline, 47, irritated loyal Britney supporters as he promised in a news release his book would reveal 'extremely intimate and transparent' details about their 'highly publicized marriage.' Federline said of his upcoming book, 'I achieved my biggest dreams, dealt with crushing heartbreak and endured constant ridicule, all while becoming the father my children needed as they experienced non-stop emotional turbulence.' Federline, who was wed to Britney from 2004 thru 2007, added that 'if you've ever had questions, you'll find answers here.' But loyal supporters of the ...Baby One More Time songstress - who shares sons Sean Preston, 19, and Jayden, 18, with Federline - weren't interested in the book, which is slated to be released October 21. Daily Mail has reached out to Federline via Instagram for comment on the backlash to the release of the forthcoming book. Fans of Spears took exception with Federline for rehashing his past with the Womanizer artist in what they felt was a blatant cash grab. 'So, no one would buy his story, so he thinks people want to hear him read his notes app life story?' asked one user, while another said, 'Damn, he REALLY needs money!' Said one Reddit user: 'That child support dried up realllllll quick,' while another chimed in, 'His timing tells you everything.' The 43-year-old was wearing a revealing gold minidress with a wide peekaboo section that flashed her amply endowed cleavage One user on X referenced another of the Lucky singer's famous exes in slamming Federline. 'Instead of writing fanfiction novels he should go back and tour with Justin Timberlake so they can both cry endless rivers,' the user said. 'It's tiring.' One Reddit user added, 'I suggest on his release date, let's all buy a copy of Britney's book and get her back on the charts.' In addition to his sons with the Oops!... I Did It Again vocalist, Federline is father to daughter Kori, 23, and son Kaleb, 21, with actress Shar Jackson, 48. He is also father to daughters Jordan, 13, and Peyton, nine, with his wife, former volleyball player Victoria Prince, 42. One X user said of Federline's ties to show business: 'He was a dancer, knocked up 2 celebrities, abandoned the 1st one and their kids while she was still pregnant then married the more famous one and took her kids for the child support money.' According to the news release, 'The public unraveling of Britney's life and the constant attention around their family forced Kevin to balance being a father with being a protector.' Some fans expressed concern Britney could be emotionally impacted for the worse with her ex-husband bringing their past dirty laundry back into the public consciousness. 'Ah great…another person reopening her wounds and bringing more judgement her way,' a Britney fan said. A Reddit user noted, 'Britney has been through enough. Now this? My heart goes out to her and I hope she slams him.' One Britney fan referred to the 2022 book penned by her sister Jamie Lynn Spears, Things I Should Have Said. 'Guess he didn't see what happens when Jamie Lynn attempted to mooch off Britney w her book,' the fan said. Federline in the book also will detail his time as a dancer for Michael Jackson, Destiny's Child and Pink, according to the news release.

Kim Kardashian breaks down in tears over ex-husband Kanye West in explosive documentary trailer

Kim Kardashian was breaking down in tears in an explosive documentary trailer about her ex-husband, Kanye West. She could be heard getting upset during a heated argument with the controversial rapper in a video teasing the upcoming In Whose Name? documentary. In the beginning of the trailer, which debuted on YouTube on Wednesday, showed a tense moment between Kardashian and West, who now goes by Ye, when they were still married. The rapper admitted that he stopped taking his medication for his bipolar disorder: 'I'm off my meds for five months now.' While he is seen exiting her dressing room at an unknown event, Kardashian could be heard with her voice audibly shaking and seemingly sobbing as she told him: 'Your personality was not like this a few years ago.' The pair were previously married from 2014 to 2022 and share four children: North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm. Their divorce proceedings and ongoing co-parenting dynamic has made headlines over the years — even back to when their marriage started breaking down in the public eye and as he continued sharing offensive social media posts years after their split. She could be heard getting upset during a heated argument with the controversial rapper in a video teasing the upcoming In Whose Name? documentary In the beginning of the trailer, which debuted on YouTube on Wednesday, showed a tense moment between Kardashian and West, who now goes by Ye, when they were still married Audio clips were stitched together with West talking and at other points, his voice was even yelling: 'It's a calling by the universe. Never tell me I'm going to wake up one day and have nothing.' Then, the then-couple could be seen sitting on a couch together, facing each other. After what appeared to be another tense conversation, she calmly said to him, 'We could talk about that later, but...' before he interrupts her: ''It ain't no but.' 'When I went to the hospital and one of the ideas was to do a church,' he narrated alongside clips of his Easter Sunday Service performance at the 2019 Coachella Music Festival, where he appeared to be crying as Chance the Rapper consoled him. 'Yeah, I was just being embarrassed or ashamed to cry, man,' he narrated alongside more clips of his activities over the years, including making music, filming artistic videos, spending time with his young children and designing fashion. 'When we're at the prisons, professing how Jesus can set you free, it's true,' an audio clip of a sermon played over clips of inmates in prison during church service. 'Thank you, Jesus. I decided to run,' the rapper said as a clip of West holding up a sign that read, 'YE4PRESIDENT,' flashed across the screen. In the trailer, West could be seen with their kids and traveling with their eldest daughter North West when she was a toddler. In the trailer, West could be seen with their kids and traveling with their eldest daughter North West when she was a toddler Years later, he was also seen with his youngest daughter Chicago in another clip At one point in the explosive trailer, he was heard yelling: 'I almost killed my daughter.' Going back to how he stopped taking his medication, he was also heard declaring: 'I'd rather be dead than to be on medication. Either they destroy me or I destroy it.' 'It's a sad dream,' Kardashian's voice made one final appearance as West continued to vent. 'They're killing our ability to think outside of the box. And I'm almost like a masochist,' he said. 'I like whatever I want, when I want. It's worse.' In the concluding clip, he proclaimed: 'You know the best thing about being an artist and bipolar? Anything you do and say is an art piece.' The trailer showed clips preceding when West got married to Bianca Censori, so it is unclear if the documentary will feature the 30-year-old Yeezy architect-turned-model. He previously opened up about begin diagnosed with bipolar disorder in 2016 after being hospitalized for a psychiatric emergency. The trailer also included more clips of the rapper putting together more of his designs with sneak peeks of his process Here he was seen at some of his invite-only gatherings, which featured gospel music performed by himself and his Sunday Service Choir Later, another clip showed him during a quiet moment in his life as he traveled alone The trailer was riddled with artistic cinematography showing West around the world and even posing in the middle of the street in Paris However, earlier this year, West said he was misdiagnosed and has now been diagnosed as autistic, which is not a mental illness. The upcoming documentary was directed and produced by Nico Ballesteros, a filmmaker who started working as an intern for West at age 18 and filmed him over six years. The summary of the trailer read: 'Over six years, 18-year-old Nico Ballesteros captured an unfiltered portrait of Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, offering unprecedented access into the private and public life of one of the most controversial figures in modern culture. 'The film charts Ye's meteoric rise to becoming the richest Black man in American history and the choices, contradictions, and collapses that have since redefined his legacy,' the description continued. 'Featuring appearances by Kim Kardashian and other influential figures from Ye's inner circle, the documentary explores the razor's edge between creative genius and self-destruction, revealing the cost of freedom in a fame-obsessed world.' The documentary is set for release on September 19 and, according to Ballesteros, will premiere in 'thousands' of AMC Theaters.
