Exciting Cymru Premier League play-offs to get underway
Things have been tough for the Lakesiders, who ended a three-month wait for victory with last weekend's 3-2 success over runners-up Penybont.
Bala can now look forward to tomorrow's play-off trip to Cardiff Met, with a place in the semi-finals at stake.
Manager Colin Caton told S4C's Sgorio: 'The play-offs, everything what's happened in the season, recent form, everything goes out of the window.
'It's about the next game now. It's about the next 90 minutes. It's about the decision-making in those 90 minutes and I'm proud of the lads.
'I've been proud of them over the season, with the amount of injuries we've got. Getting people back and it's all down to the Cardiff Met game now.'
Fellow Gwynedd club Caernarfon Town are also aiming to make their mark in the play-offs.
The Canaries, who concluded the campaign in fourth place, host Barry Town United, who comfortably finished at the top of the Play-off Conference.
The structure of the play-off semi-finals and final will be decided by the outcome of the Welsh Cup final on May 4.
If The New Saints win, league runners-up Penybont will qualify automatically for European competition. However, if Connah's Quay Nomads retain the cup, Penybont will compete in the play-offs.
Tomorrow's FAW Reserves North East League fixtures: Buckley Town v Holywell Town; NFA v St Asaph; Mold Alex v Ruthin.

Palace chiefs have attempted to win UEFA over by flying to their headquarters in Switzerland for talks. But it appears that Palace will have to sweat for a while over their prospects of playing Europe next season. That's according to the BBC, who say a decision from UEFA is not expected until at least the end of the month. The news will be a huge blow to Palace's hopes of planning for next season. Boss Oliver Glasner has already admitted that a place in Europe could affect their transfer ambitions. Speaking earlier this year, he said: 'From a financial perspective, Crystal Palace will never be a top-four club in England. Not with all the other big clubs here and that's not necessary because not everybody can be a top-four club. It's just not possible. 'This club got promoted in 2013. Since then, it has always progressed. Not huge steps. You can be a one-hit wonder and then you're gone. We said: our planning shouldn't be, 'Now we play in Europe, so let's do crazy things', and then everything collapses. We follow a pathway. 'This pathway didn't start with Oliver Glasner. It started with the new owners in 2010. Very stable, mid-table, always between 10 and 15. And this is where we are again. 'Now, it's step by step. Winning this trophy, playing internationally, getting this experience, and maybe getting some players we couldn't by playing European football. This can help us take the next step.' Palace have already seen one of their Premier League rivals take action regarding their European hopes. Nottingham Forest also saw a potential spot in the Champions League in jeopardy due to Evangelos Marinakis' ownership of Greek giants Olympiacos. He diluted his control of the East Midlands club by placing his shares in a blind trust. But Textor is unlikely to follow that example because he and Eagle Football do not have decisive influence over the Croydon outfit. Spurs dressing room's instant reaction to Postecoglou sacking speaks volumes
Tottenham made the bombshell decision to sack Ange Postecoglou on Friday after two years in charge and it appears that call has not gone down well with some members of the squad Tottenham stars have been left 'angry' by the decision to sack Ange Postecoglou, with some even planning to quit the club. Spurs announced on Friday that the Australian's two-year spell had been brought to an end. It follows a dire Premier League campaign in which the North London side finished 17th, albeit they still managed to end their long trophy drought by winning the Europa League and thus securing a spot back in the Champions League. But chairman Daniel Levy has still decided to make a change. And that call has not gone down particularly well with some members of the Spurs squad. According to The Telegraph, a number of players have been left 'angered', with it also being suggested that some now want to leave in the wake of Postecoglou's own departure. Some stars believe that his eventual successor has a huge task of repairing the dressing room damage currently on show at the club. A number of Spurs stars have already spoken out on Postecoglou's departure on social media. Pedro Porro was the first to respond as he wrote: "Thank you for everything, boss. Rangers sporting director makes Russell Martin player signing pledge
The Englishman has been involved in every step of the search to find a replacement for Philippe Clement and is confident that Martin, the former MK Dons, Swansea City and Southampton manager, is the right man to lead the Glasgow giants forward. He stressed that he and his staff would support the ex-Scotland internationalist in every way that they could and would not sanction the acquisition of any player without receiving his approval first. 'Head coaches are responsible for the most important bit, preparation of the team, performance of the team, fundamentally the results. My role is to try and make sure that all the support services that sit around Russell are as strong as they possibly can be to give us the best chance of winning. 'When we talk about recruitment, clearly it's going to be a collaborative approach. I've never been in this role ever where I've signed a player for the first team that hasn't been supported by the head coach or the manager. So we'll talk a lot about how we want to play. And then between Russell and I and the recruitment team, we'll sit down and identify players that we think can make us better very quickly. 'Through a very stringent and very thorough process, it was clear right from the very start to all of us that Russell was the outstanding candidate and we're absolutely delighted that he's decided to join us,' he said. 'He's had a strong career now, over 250 games, both as a manager and as a head coach. We can all see over the course of that journey, he's sharpened his approach, not only from a technical perspective and a tactical perspective, but also from a personal perspective. 'I'm very excited to see what he's going to bring to Rangers Football Club and the team and very much looking forward to working with him going forward.' 'I'm delighted that we were able to have those conversations, delighted that you made it slightly easier for me with the negotiations and also very, very pleased that you're sat next to me now and getting ready to work.'
