
Kerala University commences PG admission process
Kerala University has commenced the admission process for 69 postgraduate programmes offered by its teaching departments for the academic year 2025-26.
The programmes include MA, MSc, MSW, MEd, MLibISc, MCJ, MCom and MTech. The deadline for submitting online applications is April 30.
Admissions will be based on an entrance examination held across centres in Thiruvananthapuram, Ernakulam, Munnar, Kozhikode, Chennai, and New Delhi from May 19 to 25.
According to a press note, candidates appearing for their final year/semester degree examinations are also eligible to apply. However, they must meet the eligibility criteria at the time of admission.
A candidate can apply for up to five programmes through a single registration. Multiple registrations will not be accepted.

Study tour raises awareness about forest and climate change
Thiruvananthapuram: Sociology department of Kerala University and the Tribal Arts and Science College, Nadukani, in Idukki, jointly conducted a two-day study tour 'Kaadariyaan' for students. The official inauguration of the event was conducted by Arakulam grama panchayat vice president Subi Jomon at a ceremony held at the Tribal Arts and Science College, on Tuesday. The event was presided over by Kerala University head of the botany department Shiburaj registrar of Mahatma Gandhi University P K Sajeev delivered the keynote address. He emphasised the need to encourage innovative initiatives with a more open approach and the necessity to make laws and implementation methods beneficial to the ITDP project officer Anilkumar G explained various govt schemes being implemented for tribal upliftment to the students. Beat forest officer from the Arakulam section Anjith Shankar spoke on the topic of Idukki's biodiversity. Kerala Scheduled Tribes Oorali Community Organisation president T T Manoj distributed the study materials to the participants.
