Harvey Knibbs netted a last-gasp goal to give Nathan Jones' side a fairytale return to the second division.
The result could have been different if the hosts had been awarded a penalty after Thomas Kaminski brought down Nestory Irankunda.
Penalty shouts from Watford fans and players were waved away by referee Stephen Martin.
The decision left the hosts fuming but no more so than former player and now assistant sporting director Behrami.

He made 49 appearances for the Hornets without scoring a single goal.
One match would stick out in fans' memories as he puked all over the pitch during the clash with Everton.
But it was West Ham that brought him to the English shores back in 2008.

Marcus Rashford claims Manchester United are stuck in ‘no man's land'
Marcus Rashford has offered a withering assessment of Manchester United's predicament, saying a lack of consistent playing principles since Sir Alex Ferguson stood down has left the club in 'no man's land'. The forward, on loan for the season at Barcelona from United, believes that despite repeated talk of transition, no transition has taken place and that the club will not be able to win the Premier League or achieve consistent success unless they make a plan and stick with it. Rashford was sidelined by Ruben Amorim, the sixth permanent United manager since Ferguson went 12 years ago. The England international came through the academy while Ferguson was in charge. 'Show me a successful team that just adapts,' Rashford told the Rest is Football podcast. 'When Fergie was in charge, not only the principles for the first team, the whole academy set-up so you could pick players from 15 years and over – that's a full generation. And they'd all understand the principles of playing the Man United way, right? 'You see it with any team that's been successful over a period of time: they have principles that any coach that comes in, any player that comes in, has to align to these principles or be able to add to these principles. Whereas at times I feel like United have just been … we're hungry to win, so we'll always try to adapt and to sign players that fit this system. But it's reactionary. 'If your direction's always changing, you can't expect to be able to win the league. Yeah, you might win some cup tournaments, but it's because you do have a good coach and you do have good players and you have match winners in your team – you're not there by accident. 'This is what some people forget. So yeah, we've been way below where we deem United to be. But then if you take a step back, which I've been able to do, especially over the last six months – what do you expect? People say we've been in a transition for years. To be in a transition, you have to start the transition. So it's like the actual transition's not started yet.' No United manager in the post-Ferguson era has been given three years. Rashford said the club could learn from Liverpool who, in 2020 under Jürgen Klopp, ended a 30-year wait for a top-flight title. Klopp joined in October 2015 and secured his first trophy in 2019. 'When Liverpool went through this, they got Klopp, they stuck with him,' Rashford said. 'They didn't win in the beginning. People only remember his final few years when he was competing with [Manchester] City and winning the biggest trophies – he certainly didn't win for three years. 'To start a transition, you have to make a plan and stick to it. So this is the thing that I feel – it's not easy. Because if it's not going well, the fans demand [change]. But this is where I speak about being realistic with what your situation is. "I feel like we've had that many different managers and different ideas and different strategies in order to win … you end up in the middle of – you end up in no man's land.' Guardian

Wexford GAA players set to receive weekend off for Electric Picnic
Wexford GAA are set to give their players a weekend off from Championship action so as not to clash with Electric Picnic. Ireland's most popular music festival takes place in Stadbally between August 29 and 31st and usually takes place right in the middle of the Championship season. And now the Irish Independent are reporting that Wexford chiefs have decided to make the big call that Championship action is to be pushed back a week. The Hurling Championship games were due to take place the weekend of Electric Picnic, but the decision has been made to push them back a week. This comes after a week was left free to facilitate Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann, which took place in the county. The newspaper says that the decision has left some in the county 'bemused', while those inside Wexford GAA have defended it, saying that in recent years, they have received numerous fixture change requests on the same weekend. Given the age profile of camping festival attendees, Electric Picnic draws GAA players all around the country to Stradbally. This has caused issues with the Championship season, with many players stuck in the unenviable position of choosing between attending the festival and playing the Club Championship. This year's festival, which takes place between August 29 and 31, features headliners such as Sam Fender, Kings of Leon, and Chappell Roan. GAA calendars are notoriously tight and difficult to juggle, with summer fixtures often disrupted by players' holiday plans. Club Championship seasons rarely start too early if a county is eliminated from the All-Ireland or Tailteann Cup, as they need to align with the Club Provincial Championships. Cuala are the reigning All-Ireland Club Football Champions, while Na Fianna are Hurling Champions.

Chelsea files: Superagent Barat is secret transfer weapon, Blues to be Sky Sports pioneers and Broja deal revealed
Cole Palmer was not impressed with a team-mate last week BLUE DAWN Chelsea files: Superagent Barat is secret transfer weapon, Blues to be Sky Sports pioneers and Broja deal revealed AGENT Ali Barat has emerged as a key figure in Chelsea's transfer window. Not least because the Blues future of one of his star clients, Nicolas Jackson, will be a major issue in the coming days and weeks. Advertisement 8 Ali Barat has been a key figure in Chelsea's transfer window Credit: X 8 The future of Nicolas Jackson is still yet to be decided Credit: Getty Dubai-based Barat looked pretty relaxed sitting in the owners' box at Stamford Bridge for the friendly against Bayer Leverkusen. Especially when you consider Jackson's omission from the matchday squad further fuelled talk that the Senegal striker could be on his way. As well as managing that situation, Barat is also working for Chelsea target Xavi Simons to seal him a move to the Premier League. Advertisement And that has meant him getting involved with the Blues' attempts to sell players like Christopher Nkunku, Carney Chukwuemeka and Tyrique George to the German side. Barat was also instrumental in the deal that took Noni Madueke to Arsenal for a fee of £52m which will be very handy when it comes to balancing the books to comply with Uefa rules. But there is plenty more business to be done at Stamford Bridge and you can expect Barat to be at the heart of it. And whatever happens with Jackson, he will retain a strong powerbase at Chelsea. Barat was named Best Agent at the 2023 Golden Boy awards, after overseeing the deal worth up to £115m that took his client Moises Caicedo from Brighton to the Blues. Advertisement That was also the year Chelsea agreed to sign Ecuador wonderkid Kendry Paez. The Epic client moved to the club this summer after turning 18 and was sent out on loan to sister club Strasbourg for the season. Barat, who also worked on Dean Huijsen's move from Bournemouth to Real Madrid this summer, is being given the "super-agent" tag once applied to former Stamford Bridge gatekeepers like Jorge Mendes and Pini Zahavi. ACCESS ALL AREAS PREMIER LEAGUE fans watching from home will be hearing from players and managers DURING the game this season - and Chelsea could be the pioneers. An update to the Premier League's 'Section K' rules for the new broadcast deal this season means clubs will have to offer a higher level of access to cameras on at least two occasions this season. 8 Sky Sports will have better access to players and managers from this season Credit: Getty Advertisement There are three new elements. Either the manager speaking at half-time, so long as their team are winning, cameras being allowed into the dressing room, or a player who has been substituted off being interviewed while the game is going on. Clubs have to notify the Premier League and broadcasters ahead of their TV fixtures whether they intend to offer up this access. Chelsea host Crystal Palace live on Sky Sports this Sunday and are considering being quick out of the blocks with the new feature. SUMMER SALES WHILE everyone has been quick to criticise Chelsea's spending, they have become very adept at selling. Advertisement A number of senior figures at rival clubs have been privately impressed by the Blues when it comes to moving players on, this summer especially. 8 Armando Broja left Chelsea to join Burnley this season Credit: Instagram @burnleyofficial They are also being rather smart when it comes to structuring deals. Burnley have signed Lesley Ugochukwu and Armando Broja for a combined £35million. And the Blues have been generous when it comes to the terms of the transfers, with lower payments up front. Advertisement Further instalments are due in January and then spread across their respective contracts. However, if Burnley were relegated and felt the need to sell either player, they would have to pay Chelsea the full balance of the fee, which would give the Blues a cashflow boost. NOT FOR KEEPS SPECULATION continues about a Chelsea bid for Gianluigi Donnarunna but the Blues are not in the market for a new goalkeeper in the remainder of the transfer window. And recent claims that Filip Jorgensen is seeking to leave after only a year at the club are also thought to be unfounded. 8 Chelsea are not expected to move for Gianluigi Donnarumma this summer Credit: Getty Advertisement Jorgensen, 23, played every game bar one of the Blues' victorious Conference League campaign last season. But when the Dane was given his chance in the Premier League in February, errors in the defeats by Brighton and Aston Villa led to Robert Sanchez regaining the No1 position. A number of clubs are believed to have enquired about Jorgensen's availability for sale or loan in the current transfer window. But he has no interest in quitting Stamford Bridge and is confident of being given the opportunity to challenge Sanchez for the No 1 spot again. VAO ABOUT THAT WHEN Blues boss Enzo Maresca talked about 'punishing' teenage sensation Estevao, some fans' imagination went into overdrive. Advertisement The Brazilian winger is already a crowd favourite at the Bridge after scoring and generally looking brilliant on his debut in the Leverkusen friendly. 8 Enzo Maresca joked that Estevao was 'punished' after joining Chelsea for scoring against the Blues in the Club World Cup Credit: Getty But Maresca joked that Estevao's new team-mates made it clear when he first arrived at Cobham that they had not forgotten him netting for former club Palmeiras against Chelsea in the Club World Cup quarter final. Maresca told the Men in Blazers YouTube channel: 'We punished him when he arrived, because he scored against us." Some supporters speculated that Estevao might have been forced to endure the tunnel run of slaps, which is said to be a common form of light-hearted training ground discipline. Advertisement But the word is that Maresca was being absolutely tongue in cheek about any kind of retribution being taken on the wonderkid. CAPTAIN'S ORDERS TALKING of pretend outrage, Cole Palmer has let good mate Tosin Adarabioyo know that he was not impressed with the defender being trusted with the Chelsea captaincy before he got to wear it himself. Tosin posted snaps to Instagram of himself wearing the armband in Chelsea's 2-0 win over Bayer Leverkusen on Friday, after taking it from Moises Caicedo when the midfielder was substituted. 8 Cole Palmer is keen to get his hands on the Chelsea captain's armband Credit: Getty Palmer was quick to comment on the post, saying: "Wait how on earth have you got the armband before me???" Advertisement The pair's friendship has been well documented, as has the leadership of Tosin in the dressing room and on the pitch since his arrival for free from neighbours Fulham. He is one of a fair few players who have worn the armband for Chelsea in this squad, including of course captain Reece James, vice-captain Enzo Fernandez, Caicedo, Levi Colwill and Trevoh Chalobah. Palmer is clearly keen on being one of the next to have the honour.
