Along with the headphones came a note from the Beats team that read, 'With a signature logo so fire, how could we not include it. We hope you enjoy these new customs. Keep hooping. AR Pint -5! Beats Fam.'
'My beats family NEVER fails to disappoint. Thank you!' Reese expressed her gratitude in her post.
The gift comes during a hot streak in Reese's professional career. On the same day she received her custom Beats headphones, Reese was named the WNBA's Eastern Conference Player of the Week.
Over three games last week, she averaged 19.7 points, 17 rebounds, 5 assists and 2 steals per game, helping the Sky win two out of three games.

Despite a slow start earlier in the season, Reese has been finding her rhythm. Speaking after the Sky's recent win over the Los Angeles Sparks, Reese reflected on her progress.
'I went through a storm in the first eight games where I couldn't finish. It was frustrating,' she said. 'But I trusted my work, and my teammates trusted my work. Finally coming through and finally finishing efficiently, it's leading to wins for us.'

Reese's standout performances, including a 24-point, 16-rebound game against the Sparks, have made headlines. She also made WNBA history by becoming the first player to grab at least 15 rebounds in four consecutive games.

Reese's partnership with Beats has been growing since early 2024. Last year, she narrated and appeared in the brand's 'Athletes Get It' campaign alongside stars like LeBron James and Naomi Osaka.
Recently, she also gifted her Sky teammates new Beats Pill speakers, continuing a trend of sharing her brand collaborations with those around her.
Reese's custom Beats headphones are just the latest symbol of her rising influence in basketball and beyond.

Mizzou Picks Up Commitment From Safety Tony Forney Jr. out of Georgia

Mizzou Picks Up Commitment From Safety Tony Forney Jr. out of Georgia originally appeared on Athlon Sports. For the third straight year, the Missouri Tigers have celebrated the Fourth of July with a commitment. This year, three-star defensive back Tony Forney Jr. pledged to the Tigers on Friday, choosing Mizzou over Auburn, Georgia, Pittsburgh and Wisconsin. Advertisement The 5-foot-11, 180-pound safety is ranked No. 347 nationally, No. 67 positionally and No. 85 in Georgia, according to the 247Sports Composite Ranking. Forney announced his decision during an Instagram livestream. Forney took an official visit to Mizzou on May 30, and he also made official visits to Auburn, Wisconsin and Pittsburgh in June. He also held offers from several other power conference schools, including Texas A&M, LSU and Clemson. Forney is the 10th commitment to the Tigers' Class of 2026, and he's the seventh since June 1. Forney is also the second Georgia commit of the 2026 recruiting class after three-star offensive lineman Brandon Anderson committed to the Tigers last Sunday. Forney helped the Georgia team reach the second round of the Class 4A state playoffs where they fell to eventual state semifinalist Creekside 42-35 on Nov. 22. Forney continues a three-year tradition of recruits committing to Mizzou on Independence Day. In 2023, wide receiver James Madison II and defensive back Cameron Keys committed to the Tigers, and last year, wide receiver Jayvan Boggs pledged to Mizzou. Boggs eventually ended up at Florida State, though, after decommitting from both Mizzou and UCF. Coca-Cola's STAR WARS Short Film Is a Joyful Tribute to The Fans — GeekTyrant

Coca-Cola and Disney just dropped a new short film/commercial that feels like a thank you letter to Star Wars fans. Set in a movie theater during a full-on Star Wars marathon. It features Cantina aliens hang out in the lobby of the theater, cosplayers reenact the legendary Vader vs. Obi-Wan duel, and there's even a Force-fueled tug-of-war over a Coke bottle between Rey and Kylo, straight out of The Last Jedi . As you'll see, it unapologetically it celebrates fandom. This is about the passionate fans of the franchise. It's silly, charming, and heartfelt all at once, exactly what you'd want from something aiming to capture what it feels like to love Star Wars this much. The short taps into the reason Star Wars still matters, the fans who keep showing up. And with over 30 character-themed cans out this summer, it's a pretty fun excuse to stock up. Watch the short below, and may your thirst be with you, always.

Gary Player Reflects on Royal Portrush's Return to the Open Championship

Gary Player Reflects on Royal Portrush's Return to the Open Championship originally appeared on Athlon Sports. With a little less than two weeks remaining until the 153rd Open Championship tees off at Royal Portrush, golf legend Gary Player couldn't contain his enthusiasm when I caught up with him last week. The nine-time major champion, who memorably won the 1997 Senior British Open at the Northern Ireland venue, had nothing but praise for the course that will once again host golf's oldest major. Advertisement "Royal Portrush stands, in my view, as the finest golf course in Ireland, which is no small praise given the extraordinary depth of world-class links found throughout the country," Player told me. "Overall, it's one of the greatest in the world." The 153rd Open will mark Royal Portrush's third time hosting the championship, following previous editions in 1951 and 2019. When the tournament returned to the Dunluce Links in 2019 after a 68-year absence, it created one of the most memorable moments in recent Open history as Irishman Shane Lowry claimed victory in front of adoring home crowds. Player, who has witnessed golf's evolution across seven decades, believes the R&A made the right call in bringing the Open back to the County Antrim coast. "It is a truly magnificent test of golf, shaped by nature and steeped in tradition. I was delighted to see the R&A restore it to the Open Championship rota, a decision that rightfully honors its stature in the game." Player still gets a sparkle in his eye when he talks about his 1997 Senior British Open win at Royal Portrush. It came down to a playoff against John Bland, a fellow South African, and Player remembers every detail of that clutch 15-footer he rolled in on the second playoff hole to seal the deal. Advertisement Player also fondly recalled the moment when Shane Lowry won the 2019 Open at Royal Portrush. "What a moment that was when Irishman Shane Lowry won in its return!" he said, reflecting on the electric atmosphere that surrounded the tournament's return to Northern Ireland after nearly seven decades. With this year's field getting ready to take on Royal Portrush, Player's win all those years ago shows just how special this place is. The course has been creating magic moments for decades, and there's no reason to think that'll change anytime soon.
