Miley Cyrus' mom Tish reveals bizarre Hollywood conspiracy theory involving Will Smith
The mother–daughter duo were guests on Harry Jowsey 's podcast Boyfriend Material when Tish began to spout off an unorthodox belief about the secret geography of Los Angeles that managed to include a digression about Will Smith.
'Tell him about the LA tunnels,' Brandi instructed her mother in a tone that suggested she was sick of hearing about them.
Miley was even drawn into the conspiracy discussion, as Tish — whose husband Dominic Purcell recently debuted a striking new look — began to say 'Miley told me —' before Harry cut her off.
'That's not real,' he said at the first mention that there could be an underground network of tunnels traversing the expanse of LA, but Brandi added that her mother was 'convinced' before Tish even had a chance to formulate her theory.
'I've heard the LA tunnels are real,' Tish, 58, said cautiously.
'I heard Will Smith has a whole underground bunker in LA,' she continued.
Brandi, who initially sounded skeptical, was suddenly won over by the Fresh Prince star's connection to the conspiracy theory.
'I believe it,' she added to back up her mother.
Tish added that Smith would be protected in the future 'when s*** goes down and there's all kinds of —' before the clip censored what she was saying with 'Sorry, secret' stamped over her mouth.
Her mysterious prediction for the future was of interest to Harry, who raised his eyebrows and added, 'Oh really?'
He suggested that Tish's connection to celebrities via her children might help to put her conspiracy beliefs to bed once and for all.
'I feel like you guys could probably just figure it out because you're closer to them than the rest of us,' he said with a laugh.
Miley's mother, who was dressed in a black tonal pinstriped suit jacket with skinny black jeans, shared her fears that there was 'all kinds of stuff that's going to happen,' possibly in the event of some kind of societal upheaval.
Brandi interjected to taunt her mother, saying she 'loves a conspiracy.'
'But I don't think they're conspiracies! I think they're true,' Tish shot back, while Brandi reminded her that 'all conspiracy theorists' think that their pet beliefs are true.
Tish and her daughter squared off as the matriarch tried to suggest that the term 'conspiracy theory' was created by the 'government' to dismiss facts as the ravings of cranks.
'That's what they all say,' Brandi taunted her mother while Harry burst into laughter.
Tish's podcast appearance with her oldest daughter comes after she managed to bury the hatchet with her younger daughter Noah Cyrus.
The two had been rumored to be feuding over Tish's 2023 marriage to the actor Dominic Purcell, 55, whom 25-year-old Noah had previously dated.
Fans speculated that the feud was the reason Noah and her brother Braison ended up skipping Tish's nuptials, which were put on at Miley's home in LA.
However, an insider claimed to Entertainment Tonight that it was Tish who didn't invite Noah and Braison, and they accused her of blocking them on Instagram after she began a relationship with Dominic.
But a potential thaw appeared to be in the works when Noah was seen spending time with her mother in July 2024.
By April of this year they had buried the hatch with Noah's appearance in a TikTok video, followed by her joining her mother and Brandi on their Sorry We're Cyrus podcast.
Tish and Noah steered clear of any talk of a feud during their chat, but Tish did reveal how they grew closer again.
She said that her daughter simply moving closer to her meant they were able to take walks together again, which helped them bond.

Marvel 's first family stumbled in theaters in its second weekend, but still held on to the top spot at the box office. has welcomed a new baby into her family and her mother Michelle was by her side for the delivery. The reality star, 32, revealed in March that she and husband Ben Seewald were expecting their sixth child. The couple are parents to Spurgeon, nine, Henry, eight, Fern, five, Ivy, three and George, 18 months. On Saturday, she revealed via her YouTube vlog that she had given birth in an episode titled Birth Story: Baby #6 (part 1.) She began the video, filmed on July 24, by revealing 'Tomorrow is my due date. I had a visit with my OB a few days ago. I was dilated to 2 [centimeters and was] 50 percent effaced, and I lost my mucus plug a few days ago,' she said. 'Other than that, [I] haven't had any signs of labor. So, just waiting it out.' Jessa said she had tried curb walking to jumpstart labor. It's a technique in which the expectant mom walks with one foot on the curb and the other on the street to try to get the baby into a favorable position for birth. 'I gave it a try, [but] I haven't noticed much of a change or anything like that,' she told the camera. 'I'm still having Braxton Hicks contractions, and such. For me, my history has been that when I go into labor, I always feel contractions heavily in my back. I haven't had any of those real contractions at this point. So, waiting it out.' Toward the end of the video, which promoted part two of the story, the expectant mom was seen walking up and down the stairs of her mother Michelle's house to get things moving along. 'So, I'm having contractions every three to five minutes,' she said, as she leaned against a counter. She was next seen lying on a brown sofa with a white towel between her legs. Someone in the background is asking 'What happened?' 'My water just broke,' she explained. At the end, of the clip, Michelle can be seen by her daughter's side as she works through labor at the hospital. Fans will have to wait for part two to learn more about the baby's name and gender. The family rose to fame in the TLC reality show 17 Kids and Counting, which became 19 Kids and then Counting On, with Jessa at the helm, as the kids began to get married and have children of their own.
