Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics: Industrial Production Index Increases in February
The Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS) announced that the industrial production index increased by 1.86% during February compared to January 2025.
The PCBS explained in a statement on Sunday that the industrial production index rose to 80.73 in February 2025, compared to 79.25 in January 2025.
It indicated that despite the slight improvement in industrial production during February 2025, it remains significantly lower than it was before the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, by about 26.39%.

Military source confirms continuation of naval ban on Israeli entity
Sana'a – Saba: A military source confirmed the continued enforcement of the Yemeni Armed Forces' decision to impose a naval ban on the Israeli entity, prohibiting the passage of any vessel, regardless of nationality or affiliation with companies that deal with the Israeli regime. The source urged all ships to activate their Automatic Identification Systems (AIS), noting that the Yemeni Naval Forces are prepared to receive distress calls and communications to assist vessels and facilitate their passage via International Channel 16 or through the email info@ Additionally, the source called on all ship-owning and operating companies, the maritime community, and the public to refrain from any dealings with the Israeli entity, regardless of offers, to ensure the safety of their ships and crews. It emphasized that maritime navigation remains safe for all except Israeli vessels, those heading to occupied Palestinian ports, or ships owned by companies that have violated the ban—until the aggression and siege on Gaza cease. Yemen : Houthis threaten to target ships linked to firms dealing with Israeli ports
Yemen's Houthis said on Sunday they would target any ships belonging to companies that do business with Israeli ports, regardless of their nationalities, as part of what they called the fourth phase of their military operations against Israel. In a televised statement, the Houthis' military spokesperson warned that ships would be attacked if companies ignored their warnings, regardless of their destination. 'The Yemeni Armed Forces call on all countries, if they want to avoid this escalation, to pressure the enemy to halt its aggression and lift the blockade on the Gaza Strip,' he added. Since Israel's war in Gaza began in October 2023, the Iran-aligned Houthis have been attacking ships they deem as bound or linked to Israel in what they say are acts of solidarity with Palestinians. In May, the US announced a surprise deal with the Houthis where it agreed to stop a bombing campaign against them in return for an end to shipping attacks, though the Houthis said the deal did not include sparing Israel.
