Computex 2025: TECNO Unveils MEGABOOK S16 AI PC & Expands AI Laptop Lineup
TECNO has launched some big news at Computex 2025 with the reveal of its newest AI PC, the MEGABOOK S16.
AI PC's have been the focus lately, and TECNO made sure to get in on the trend with the announcement of the MEGABOOK S16 AT Computex 2025. This laptop flaunts their self-developed edge-side AI model, delivering seamless AI functionality even offline. Powered by the Intel Core i9-13900HK, the MEGABOOK S16 boasts 14 cores and 20 threads, turbo-boosting up to 5.4 GHz for high-performance AI applications, gaming, and productivity tasks.
Designed for professionals and creators, the MEGABOOK S16 hits a milestone for the brand, featuring a 16-inch FHD display, being their first flagship laptop of this size. Its premium all-metal body, weighing just 1.3kg and measuring 14.9mm thin, ensures portability without compromising power. Enhanced by NPU AI acceleration and advanced Intel Arc graphics, the laptop excels in AI-enhanced multitasking, promising to be a game-changer for users seeking efficiency.

Alongside the MEGABOOK S16, the company upgraded other MEGABOOK devices with DeepSeek-V3, 'enhancing offline capabilities and enabling comprehensive online AI searches through the Personal GPT function.' The new TECNO AI also features AI Gallery, AI Meeting Assistant, Ella AI Assistant, AI PPT, and AI Drawing.
The devices mentioned include the world's lightest 14-inch OLED laptop at 898g, the MEGABOOK S14. It features an external NVIDIA graphics card and a 2.8K display. They also announced the MEGABOOK T14 Air, which is also light at just 999g, and promises excellent battery life. Finally, TECNO has also expanded its K Series with the MEGABOOK K15S and MEGABOOK K14S, brand-new sizes in this series.

MSI to unveil desktop AI supercomputer at Computex 2025, powered by Nvidia DGX

MSI has confirmed it will take the covers off a host of exciting new products at Computex 2025 later this month, including a brand new desktop AI supercomputer powered by Nvidia's DGX Spark platform. The company confirmed in a press release that it will unveil its EdgeXpert MS-C931, a new desktop AI supercomputer built on the Nvidia DG Spark platform. The MS-C931 is powered by Nvidia's GB10 Grace Blackwell Superchip and is capable of 1,000 AI TOPS FP4 performance. The GB10 SoC features Nvidia Blackwell GPU architecture and fifth-generation Tensor Cores, as well as NVLink-C2C connection to Nvidia's Grace CPU, an Arm architecture core featuring 20 power-efficient chips. It will also feature ConnectX 7 networking, 128GB unified memory, and LLM support, which Nvidia has previously promised can support up to 4TB of NVMe storage, and can run up to 200-billion-parameter LLMs, or 405-billion parameter models when running two linked chips. Nvidia's DGX Spark platform promises compact and efficient performance, and comes pre-installed with Nvidia's AI software stack so that developers can run AI models from all the major players, including DeepSeek, Meta, and Google. Alongside the MS-C931, MSI also says it will unveil a new lineup of Industrial Motherboards, as well as systems powered by Intel Twin Lake, Raptor Lake Refresh, Bartlett Lake, and Arrow Lake processor families. Specifically, the company highlighted three new products. The MS-C926 is an ultra-slim fanless box PC with applications in smart retail and digital signage. The Ms-927 is an ultra-compact box PC featuring Intel Core Ultra processors for high-performance edge computing. Finally, the MS-CF20 is a new next-generation ATX motherboard featuring 16th Gen Intel Arrow Lake-S processors. MSI says it will also have live demonstrations for solutions for smart retail and digital signage. There will also be a new fanless palm box for "space-constrained industrial environments, remote control management solutions utilizing SysLink, and edge AI innovations, including LLM and chatbot applications enabled by AI smartLink software. Metal 4 for macOS Tahoe 26 introduces new gaming features like frame interpolation
Apple continues to improve gaming features on Macs with Metal 4 for Apple Silicon on its latest version of macOS Tahoe 26 announced at WWDC 26. The new graphics platform introduces two new technologies designed to make graphics look better and run faster, MetalFX Frame Interpolation and MetalFX denoising. MetalFX Frame Interpolation generates an intermediate frame for every two input frames to boost frame rates with minimal computing overhead, while MetalFX Denoising "makes real-time ray tracing and path tracing possible in the most advanced games," the company said. It pointed out that upcoming titles like Crimson Desert and InZOI will use technologies like MetalFX Upscaling to improve performance and visuals via technology like ray-tracing available with the company's M3 and M4 family of chips. Apple put a fair amount of emphasis on gaming during this year's developer conference. It revealed the new Games app that will come pre-installed on Mac, iPhone and iPad with macOS Tahoe 26 and iOS 26 this fall.
