ABC News fires Terry Moran days after veteran anchor's social media outburst at Trump aide Stephen Miller
ABC News fired veteran correspondent Terry Moran after his social media rant targeting President Trump adviser Stephen Miller, the company said Tuesday.
Moran was suspended by the Disney-owned network on Sunday, hours after he blasted Miller as a 'world class hater.'
'We are at the end of our agreement with Terry Moran and based on his recent post – which was a clear violation of ABC News policies – we have made the decision to not renew,' an ABC News spokesperson told The Post. 'At ABC News, we hold all of our reporters to the highest standards of objectivity, fairness and professionalism, and we remain committed to delivering straightforward, trusted journalism.'\

Moran's diatribe on social media over the weekend, which he has since deleted, had been condemned by ABC News executives for lacking 'objectivity and impartiality.'
The Post reported on Monday that ABC News staffers were calling for Moran to be fired.

Israel strike live updates: Israel launches dozens of strikes in Iran, IDF says
Early Friday morning, local time, Israel launched dozens of strikes against Iran and declared a state of emergency, according to Defense Minister Israel Katz. "Following the State of Israel's preemptive strike against Iran, a missile and drone attack against the State of Israel and its civilian population is expected in the immediate future," Katz said in a statement. Air raid sirens sounded in Tel Aviv following the announcement. The U.S. did not provide any assistance or have any involvement in the Israeli strike, a U.S. official told ABC News. Top House Republican leaders are voicing support for Israel's strikes on Mike Johnson posted an Israeli flag on X and said, "Israel IS right—and has a right—to defend itself!Majority Leader Steve Scalise said he stands with Israel."Iran has refused to dismantle its nuclear program, which puts America at risk and poses an existential threat to Israel. Tonight Israel is taking action to defend itself, and we stand with Israel.
