Kate Middleton was spotted staying fashionable on her latest royal outing with a pair of black stilettos — despite the dress code recommendations set forth by the museum she visited.
Middleton, 43, visited the V&A East Storehouse in East London — a branch of the legendary British institution the Victoria and Albert museum — on June 10 and donned a gorgeous royal blue suit and complementing black heels… even though her footwear wasn't technically appropriate for the type of flooring the museum has.
"We recommend wearing practical clothing and flat shoes," the V&A East Storehouse's website explains about their dress code. "The metal grid flooring is not suitable for stilettos or kitten heels."
Clearly, Middleton wasn't pressed about the potential for tripping or slipping; She was more concerned about fashion, and we can't say we blame her because she looks gorgeous. This was her first royal outing since the half-term break with her three children — Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, 7 — and she looked to be in excellent spirits.
That said, the iconic Princess of Wales has had a shoe snafu once in her tenure, back in 2018 when she got one of her heels stuck in a metal drain while visiting an addiction treatment center in Wickford, England. Plus, she was a whopping seven months pregnant at the time! Thankfully, her recent V&A visit wasn't a repeat of that day.
In fact, it appeared to be a really enjoyable outing. 'She had a super energy. She was very energetic and focused. We last saw her about two years ago," V&A director Tristram Hunt told People following the visit." She retains this great passion and interest in creativity and making and design. It was wonderful to be able to host her.' He also added about her choice of footwear, 'She is a pro! She dealt with that!'

In fact, Nixon isn't surprised by the dissolution of their marriage at all. Miranda and Steve's relationship came to a spectacular end with And Just Like That, the SATC revival series that saw Miranda come out as a lesbian—a sexual awakening that led her to pursue an affair with nonbinary comedian Che Diaz. Speaking with Harper's Bazaar, the star opened up about why Steve was never meant to be Miranda's forever person. 'Steve was a wonderful, wonderful antidote for Miranda for a lot of years, but I think, at the end of the day, the problems that they had in the very beginning of their relationship never totally went away,' Nixon says. 'She wasn't ever really sure if he was enough for her.' Nixon acknowledges that Miranda and Steve 'had a lot of good years together, but, in the end, I think she wanted something more, and Che was a different kind of something more.' '[Miranda] realizes now she wants to be... a global player in a more professional setting that can give aid and attention to people in the world, refugees, and other people who are really in crisis and need help and need assistance,' says Nixon. 'So I think she's dazzled by Joy in that way, with Joy's proficiency in that world. Also, Joy is a very serious and accomplished person, but everything is with an overlay of cheekiness of British funniness that's very diffusing to Miranda's determined pedantic seriousness. I think that Steve was able to diffuse Miranda in a particular way, but Joy is able to diffuse her with a lighter touch and in a more sophisticated manner.' What comes next for Joy and Miranda? Dua Lipa has said she is too busy to have children as she does not know how starting a family 'would fit in with my job'. Speaking in an interview with British Vogue, the London-born singer, 29, said she wondered if there would 'ever be a good time' to have a child with her fiancé Callum Turner, the Boys in the Boat actor. 'I'd love to have kids one day,' Lipa said. 'But it's like the constant question of when would there ever be a good time – how it would fit in with my job and how it would work if I went on tour, and how much time out I'd have to take. 'I think it's just one of those things that's going to happen when it happens. I love kids, but I think there's so much more to raising a child than just loving children.' During the interview, the Grammy award-winning singer confirmed her engagement to Turner, 35. She had provoked speculation after she was spotted on numerous occasions over the last year wearing a diamond ring. 'Yeah, we're engaged,' she said. 'It's very exciting.' She said: 'I turn 30 in August and I've been thinking about it a lot, because your 20s are just so tumultuous in the way you think about yourself and your body. 'And I don't know, now I feel like I've come to a place – I've become better at taking care of myself and working out and dancing. I feel the most confident I've ever felt. I feel very empowered and strong in my body. 'I feel good when I'm sharing my energy with people on stage. There's just so much of that that makes me really proud of my body and the way it holds me.'
