Smriti Irani accused of using a body double for Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, fans react: ‘Looks so fake…'
Actor Smriti Irani has returned to the small screen with Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2. While the show has been getting some mixed responses, fans have been disappointed over Smriti Irani's performance as Tulsi Virani. A section of the audience on social media has also accused Smriti of using a body double for the show. They have pointed out how Tulsi's reactions look very fake and disconnected. Many have even accused Tulsi of trying hard to copy Anupamaa's traits. As per reports, Smriti Irani is shooting for the show separately and is usually not around on set with others. For her scenes with the entire family, a body double shoots instead. Talking about the same, a viewer wrote on Twitter, 'Glad that everyone is noticing this! For what is she charging 14L for? For shooting separately for like half an episode? It looks like people are talking to the wall, and then she is shown separately despite being in front!' Sonakshi Sinha, Zeenat Aman, Rupali Ganguly criticize SC's order on stray dog removal in Delhi
The Supreme Court's verdict on the relocation of the stray dogs to the shelters in Delhi-NCR has sparked a massive online debate, with several animal lovers from the entertainment industry voicing their displeasure over the decision of the apex court. Veteran actress, Zeenat Aman wrote on her Instagram stories: 'Disheartened by the recent news about stray dog 'removal' in Delhi. I join animal lovers from across the world in asking for a more humane, logical and science-backed approach to the issue.' Sonakshi Sinha shared: 'Day by day we expose how soulless we have become as a society. Every day is a disappointment.' Rupali Ganguly shared her views on X, saying: 'In our traditions, dogs guard Bhairav Baba's temple and are fed on Amavasya for blessings. They've grown up on our streets, guarding shops, waiting outside our doors, barking away thieves.' 'If we remove them now, we risk losing our protectors before the real dangers arrive, like silencing an alarm before a fire. Sending them to far-off shelters isn't kindness, it's exile. Stray dogs aren't outsiders; they're part of our faith, our culture, our safety. Care for them, vaccinate them, feed them and let them live where they belong. #straydogs,' the 'Anupamaa' actress added. Shriya Pilgaonkar feels: 'Compassion and practicality must go hand in hand. While I understand the need to address safety concerns, sending all stray dogs to shelters is not a humane or sustainable solution. We do not have adequate shelters for stray animals in India and most shelters are already overcrowded and under-resourced. Instead of uprooting strays from their familiar territories, we need community-driven sterilisation, vaccination, and feeding programmes that allow humans and animals to coexist safely.' Many others from the fraternity used social media to speak on the matter. According to the Supreme Court's ruling, the local authorities have been instructed to capture and transfer every stray dog in the Delhi-NCR region to designated shelters. SC has further stressed that none of the animals should be allowed to escape from these shelter homes.

She mentioned that by shifting dogs to shelter homes, we aren't showing any kindness but are only putting them in exile. 'In our traditions, dogs guard Bhairav Baba's temple and are fed on Amavasya for blessings. They've grown up on our streets, guarding shops, waiting outside our doors, barking away thieves," Rupali wrote. 'If we remove them now, we risk losing our protectors before the real dangers arrive, like silencing an alarm before a fire. Sending them to far-off shelters isn't kindness, it's exile. What Is The Supreme Court Order About Stray Dogs In Delhi? The Supreme Court on Monday ordered that all stray dogs in Delhi and the NCR must be caught within eight weeks and kept in special shelters that civic authorities will set up. The court made it clear that once a dog is caught, it will not be released back onto the streets. A bench of Justices JB Pardiwala and R Mahadevan gave these directions while hearing a case taken up on its own about the rising number of stray dog attacks. The judges also said that anyone who tries to stop the authorities from carrying out the capture will face contempt of court action. The court further ordered that a helpline must be started in Delhi-NCR to report dog bite cases. If a complaint is made, the dog involved must be caught within four hours.
